본 연구는 텍스트 코퍼스로부터 용어의 정의를 자동으로 추출하여 용어의 자동 추출기술과 통합하여 다목적의 용어뱅크를 구축하기 위한 목적으로부터 출발하였다. 지식정보의 확산에 따라 기존 전문분야 용어집에 수록되지 알은 용어의 수는 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다. 기존의 용어집 혹은 용어사전의 디지털화만으로는 새로운 전문용어의 포괄성에서 한계가 있는 것이다. 정보의 획득이라는 면에서 보면 이러한 한계를 극복하고 모든 용어에 대해서 즉시적으로 용어의 정의를 제공받는 것이 바람직하다. 자동으로 구축된 용어집의 응용은 여러 가지로 기대된다. 새로운 용어에 대한 의미 파악을 위해서는 물론, 확장된 전문용어집의 작성이나 전문분야 온톨로지의 구축 등에도 이용될 수 있다.

건강검사를 마치고 나면 우리는 당연히 결과서를 받는다. 그러나 안타깝게도 그 결과서에 써있는 전문용어나 수치가 도대체 무엇을 의미하는지를 아는 사람은 거의 없다. ‘건강소식’은 이번 호부터 이 수치와 용어가 무엇을 의미하는지를 해설함으로써 건강파악에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 한다.

본 연구는 법률명 용어의 의미적 성분분석을 통해 '보충적 관계속성'을 도출하고, 이를 구조적 용어사전의 관계속성 설정에 적용하였을 때 용어관계에 나타나는 효과를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. '보충적 관계속성'이란 클래스(범주)별 용어들이 가지는 특징에 기반하여 만든 관계속성을 말하며, 용어사전 구축 시 도출한 관계속성을 반영함으로서 용어 간 관계가 유기적이고 명확하게 표현될 수 있도록 하는 보조적 구축지침의 역할을 하도록 한다. 이를 위해 법원도서관 '법률용어 관련어집의 316개 용어쌍을 분석하여 '보충적 관계속성'을 도출하였으며, 구조적 용어사전 용어에 적용하여 밀도 값과 밀도의 정도를 시각화하여 효과를 확인하였다. 그 결과, '보충적 관계속성' 전, 후의 변화는 적었으나 이는 법률명 용어의 특징으로 인한 결과라는 것을 알 수 있었고, '보충적 관계속성' 반영의 명확한 효과 확인을 위해서는 분석대상용어를 법률명에서 법률관련용어로 확장시켜 연구할 필요성을 확인하였다.

To maintain consistency of terms in information retrieval process, it is necessary to present the meaning of terms definitely in thesaurus. Therefore, most of thesauri has presented meaning of terms through basic relationships or scope notes. But. thesaurus including standardized definitions in contents and form has been proposed lately. This study was performed to make standardized definitions and extract relationships in contents of defining models. Also, expanded thesaurus was constructed being integrated and replaced standardized definitions and extracted relationships into the existing thesaurus. As the result. this study has shown a possibility for further development of thesaurus.

This study examined the ambiguous using the terminology of statistics at mathematics textbook of highschool in Korea and proposed the correct using of sampling error and sampling distribution of sample mean with consistency. And this paper proposed that the concept of error have to teach in context of sampling action in school mathematics.

In this paper, we proposes a document summarization method using the term weighting. The proposed method can minimize the user intervention to use the pseudo relevance feedback. It also can improve the quality of document summaries because the inherent semantic of the sentence set are well reflected by term weighting derived from semantic feature.

본 논문은 용어의 비통일성과 문서의 다양성으로 인해 발생하는 건설분야 전문가들의 의사소통 문제를 해결하기 위한 Con-Talky를 제안한다. Con-Talky는 자연언어처리의 대표적인 기술인 형태소분석, 의존구문분석, 의미역 결정 기술을 융합하여 건설분야의 "설계기준문서"를 시각화하고 핵심 정보추출을 자동으로 해주는 플랫폼이다. 해당 플랫폼을 이용하여 토목분야 전문가들의 의사소통 문제를 완화시킬 수 있으며 용어의 비통일성 및 표준화에도 기여할 수 있다. 또한 본 논문은 국내 건설 및 토목분야에 최초로 자연언어처리 기술을 적용한 논문이다. 해당 분야의 연구를 활성화 하기 위해 건설분야에 특화된 단일 말뭉치와 트리플 데이터를 자체 제작함과 동시에 전면 공개하였다.

홍수터의 정의는 용어를 사용하는 용도와 사용자에 따라 다르게 정의 되고 사용되어 왔다. 또한 여러 가지 의미로 사용되는 것과 동시에 범람원 및 둔치 등 다양한 용어로 사용되고 있어 용어 선택에 상다이 혼란을 야기시키고 있다. 그러나 이렇게 사용되고 있는 대부분 용어들의 의미는 큰 물 즉, 홍수가 발생했을 때 물이 범람하여 흐르는 곳까지로 정의되어지고 사용되고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 여름철에 강우가 집중되다보니 홍수시 범람하는 지역이 평상시 하천을 흐르는 물이 흐르는 구간에 비해 상당히 크게 나타나며, 과거에는 제방이 모든 하천에 설치되어 있지 않아 홍수시 마다 큰 피해를 유발시켰다. 그러나 1970년대를 지나면서 자연재해로부터 안전한 생활을 하기 위해 하천 치수사업이나 수해복구사업을 통해 하폭을 넓히고 제방을 축조하게 되면서 기존의 홍수터에 대한 범위가 크게 변화되었다. 또한, 최근 하천을 친수공간으로 활용하고 친 환경적인 생활환경을 조성하기 위하여 홍수시에 이용되는 홍수터를 정비하고 이를 시민들이 평상시에 활용할 수 있도록 다양한 방법으로 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 사용되고 있는 홍수터에 대한 다양한 용어 및 의미를 조사하여 정리하고 그에 따른 홍수터 범위를 제시하였으며, 이렇게 한정한 범위의 홍수터에 대한 사용되는 현황에 대한 문헌조사(하천정비기본계획, 지적도 등) 및 현장조사를 토대로 활용되는 방법 및 관리되는 방안에 대하여 조사하였다.

한국여성의 외의용 의류소재에 주관적인 태를 조사하기 위하여 계절별(춘하, 추동)로 총 230여 종의 직물을 수집하고, 1차로 87종의 직물에 대하여 20, 30대 전문가에게 태에 관한 용어를 9가지 조사동작을 통하여 수집하였다. 수집한 용어를 의미별로 추출하여 정리하였고, 태를 수집하기 위한 동작에 따른 용어의 차이를 비교하였다.

As contemporary thesauri have become large and complex, it is increasingly difficult to assess the intended meaning of each one of the terms. Thereby the meaning of many descriptors seems to be very similar, and it is often not possible to distinguish among them and to identify the term correctly. Purpose of this article is to induce definitions of descriptors in thesaurus by specifying the characteristics of each concept, locating it in the domain and providing clear and prescriptive information on the meaning of each descriptor in the form of a standardized terminological definition. In this study, a small prototype thesaurus using definition of term in the field of information industry in Korean Standards has been developed. In this thesaurus definitions are written for each descriptor with the help of a proposed defining model and in accordance with defining rules borrowed from the field of terminology. In addition, elements of analyzed definition have been included in the relation structure of descriptors. It is revealed that terminological definition added to thesaurus may permit extraction of separate items of information from definitions for the representation of knowledge structures and makes it easier to confine the scope of descriptors to be included in thesaurus in a given subject field.
