Evaluation of high power ultrasonic energy transmission characteristics of a liquid matching layer by using sonoluminescence (소노루미네센스를 이용한 액체정합층의 고출력 초음파에너지 전달특성 평가)

  • In the ultrasonic dispersion, in order to avoid direct contact of the radiation surface of ultrasonic transducers with a liquid sample, the liquid sample is separated by a glass container and it receives ultrasonic energy through an acoustic medium. The transmission efficiency of the ultrasonic energy in the multi-layered ultrasonic system is an important factor. In this study, we suggested a method that can improve the ultrasonic energy transfer efficiency by using a propylene glycol solution as a liquid matching layer in the multi-layered acoustic system. In this method, a propylene glycol solution was filled between the Langevin-type ultrasonic transducer and the luminol solution and the sonoluminescence phenomena in the luminol solution, which is caused by nonlinear effect of high power ultrasound radiated from the transducer, was examined by using a Photo Multiplier Tube (PMT). The transmission efficiency depending on the concentration of propylene glycol solution was observed, and we can see that as the concentration of the propylene glycol solution increased, the matching effect increased while the acoustic attenuation increased. It was confirmed that there is an optimal concentration compromised these two conflicting conditions, and the optimum concentration of the propylene glycol solution was determined experimentally.

  • 본 논문은 모터의 회전자를 연속적으로 주조하기 위한 주형 개발을 위해 주조 유동해석를 통해 그 결과를 반영하였다. 주형을 제작하고, 성형한 결과로 수평형은 슬리브가 수평구조이고, 고속으로 작동하면서 공기와 기타 가스빼기가 원활하지 않음에 제품 성형률이 매우 떨어짐을 알 수 있었다. 현재 이를 해결하기 작업자들의 경험에 많이 의지하고 있다. 수직형은 슬리브 구조가 수직으로 되어있어 슬리브가 고속으로 작동할 때, 수평형과 달리 용액이 층류형태로 유지되면서 공기나 기타 가스발생이 매우 적어 안정된 주물제품이 성형됨을 알 수 있었다.

An in vitro study of a few crystal growth solutions on the bracket shear bond strength (수종의 실험 결정형성용액에 의한 브라켓 전단결합강도의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the bracket shear bond strengths of the crystal growth solutions with those of the $37\%$ phosphric acid etch technique. The 4 crystal growth solutions were made experimentally in the lab, that is, (1) $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid (ES 1), (2) $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.6M sulfuric acid (ES 2), (3) $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid and 0.6 M lithium sulfate(ES 3), and (4) $30\%$ polyacrlic acid solution containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid and $5\%$ phosphoric acid(ES4). The $37\%$ phosphoric acid solution used as a control. Bovine lower incisor tooth enamel was treated by the above solutions for 60 sec, washed out for 20 sec with slow water stream, and bonded lower anterior edgewise bracket with the light curing orthodontic composite resin adhesives. The teeth bonded brackets were stored in the distilled water at room temperature for 24 h, and followed to test the bracket shear bond strength. The acid etch technque showed 177.6 kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength which was the highest among the enamel treatment solutions. ES 1 shown 58.4 kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength and that of ES 4 showed 66.5 kg/$cm^2$. There was no significant difference between the two(p>0.05). ES2 showed 110.6kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength which was $62.3\%$ of that of acid etch technique. ES 3 showed 131.1 kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength which was the highest among experimental crystal growth solutions and which was $74\%$ of that of acid etch technique. The shear bond strengths of the crystal growth solutions were significantly lower that that of acid etch technique(p<0.05). The results sugest that although bracket shear bond strength of $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.3M sulfuric acid and 0.6 M lithium sulfate were showed the highest, it is low for the clinical application of this solution.

  • We have investigated the growth kinetics and electronic properties of passive film of zinc in borate buffer solution. The oxide film formed in passivation process of zinc has showed the electronic properties of n-type semiconductor based on the Mott-Schottky equation. And it was found out that the oxide film consisted ZnO and $Zn(OH)_2$ was composed of deep and shallow donors.

  • Recently, printing and coating technologies application fields have been expanded to the energy field such as solar cell. One of the main reasons, why many researchers have been interested in printing technology as a manufacturing method, is the reduction of manufacturing cost. In this paper, We fabricated CIGS solar cell thin film layer by doctor blade methods using synthesis of CIS precursor nanoparticles ink on molybdenum (Mo) coated soda-lime glass substrate. Synthesis CIS precursor nanoparticles ink fabrication was mixed Cu, In, Se powder and Ethylenediamine, using microwave and centrifuging. Using multi coating process as we could easily fabrication a fine flatness CIS thin-film layer ($0.7{\sim}1.35{\mu}m$), and reduce a manufacture cost and process steps. Also if we use printing and coating method and solution process in each layer of CIGS solar cell (electrode, buffer), it is possible to fabricate all printed thin-film solar cell.

  • An anion exchange resin which has Alizarin Red S (ARS) as functional group was prepared by batch method. The resin is stable in acidic solutions below 0.5 M hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid and adsorption capacity of Fe(Ⅱ) ion on the resin was larger than other metal ions. The preconcentration and the separation of Fe(Ⅱ) ion from the mixture solution were carried out with the pH 4.5 buffer solution and 0.1 M $HNO_{3}$ as eluents.

  • 국내 및 해외에서 생산 되는 윤활유에 Cloud-point curves 및 상용성 개념을 도입하여 이러한 데이터를 측정할수 있는 장치를 기존의 Light scatering, Neutron scatering, Visible Method등이 아닌 He-Ne Laser를 이용하여 측정하는 장치이다. He-Ne Laser을 이용하여 공중합체 용액의 Cloud-point curves를 측정하였고, 측정 Cloud-point curves 데\ulcorner를 연속열역학적 상평형관계식에 적용 coex istence curves를 추산하였으며 추산치와 측정치를 비교 검토하였다. 멀지 않은 해에는 이러한 분석장치가 상용화되어 윤활유 제품의 상용성을 평가하는 장치가 될 것으로 사료된다. 따라서, 기존 윤활유 제품 및 신제품의 상용성(compatibility)을 He-Ne Laser을 이용하여 측정하고 다른 일면으로는 윤활유 제품의 고품질화 및 제품의 경쟁력을 강화하는데 커다란 영향을 미치리라 사료된다.

  • We have investigated the electronic properties of the oxide film and anodic oxidation mechanism. Iron was oxidized by two reaction pathways depending on pH. The oxide film has showed the electronic properties of n-type semiconductor based on the Mott-Schottky equation.

  • V-groove N+P solar cell is fabricated by thermal diffusion in silicon wafer with (100) crystal structure. To form the V-grooves in (100) silicon surface, a mixture of etylen-diamine, water, pyrocathecol is used as the etchant of anisotropic etching. Under light intensity of 100mW/$\textrm{cm}^2$, the efficiency of the V-groove solar cell is 2.5-3.5% greater than the conventional N+P solar cell and 0.4-0.6% greater than the texturized one.

비진공 코팅 방식에 의한 CIGS 박막 태양전지 개발

  • 칼코파라이트 구조의CuInSe2 (CIS) 계 화합물은 직접천이형 반도체로서 높은 광흡수 계수($1{\times}10^5\;cm^{-1}$)와 밴드갭 조절의 용이성 및 열적 안정성 등으로 인해 고효율 박막 태양전지용 광흡수층 재료로 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. CIS 계 물질에 속하는 $Cu(InGa)Se_2$ (CIGS) 태양전지의 경우 박막 태양전지 중 세계 최고 효율인 20%를 달성한 바 있다. 그러나 이러한 우수한 성능에도 불구하고 CIS 계 박막 증착시 동시증발장치나 진공 스퍼터링 장치와 같은 고가 진공장비를 사용해야 한다는 점이 CIS 박막 태양전지 상용화의 걸림돌이 되고 있는데, 이는 장비 특성 상공정단가가 높고 대면적화가 어렵기 때문이다. 따라서 기술개발 이후의 상용화 단계를 고려할 때 CIS 박막 제조 공정단가를 획기적으로 낮추면서도 대면적화가 용이한 신공정 개발이 필수적이다. 이러한 관점에서 용액 및 나노 입자 전구체를 비진공 방식으로 코팅하여 CIS 광흡수층을 제조하는 기술이 CIS 태양전지의 저가화 및 대면적화를 가능케 하는 차세대 기술로 인식되고 있다. 본 세미나에서는 다양한 형태의 용액 또는 입자 전구체를 이용한 CIS 광흡수층 제조 기술개발 현황 및 각 기술별 특징을 소개하고자 한다.
