Using the sixth(2013-2016) National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, separate logistic regression analyses were conducted for women's early adulthood (n=1,143), middle adulthood (n=1,306), and older adulthood (n=875) to test factors associated with risky drinking. For study results, as for women's early adulthood, education, marital status, employment, depressive feeling, and smoking were statistically associated with risky drinking. As for women's middle adulthood, only subjective stress level and smoking were associated with risky drinking. As for women's older adulthood, education, suicidal ideation, and subjective health condition were associated with risky drinking. These results found different factors influenced risky drinking according to life stages. Based on these results, convergent implications about reducing risky drinking according to life stages of women were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the market segments of Korea specialty coffee shops based on the benefit variables by customers when they visit a coffee shop. For this study, SPSS WIN 17.0 was used for the frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA and cross tabulation. Benefit factors were divided into atmosphere factor, value factor, marketing factor, cleanliness & comfort factor, and service factor. Three distinct segments of customers were identified: passive benefit seekers, marketing benefit seekers and emotion benefit seekers. In order to explore differences between clusters and demographic and behavior variables, cross tabulation were used. These findings could be helpful for the marketers who need to establish a marketing strategy for grasping the characteristics of market segments and generating profits.

  • The purpose of this study was to present the empirical data for the prevention of suicide by analyzing the group differences according to the types of risk factors and protective factors of family members living with dementia patients and the effects of each type on suicidal ideation. This study investigated the characteristics of suicidal ideation among family members of people living with dementia by using a community health survey. It then investigated the effect of each latent group on the suicidal ideation of family members of people living with dementia. Twenty-four risk and protective factors on suicide ideation were analyzed by using Mplus. The four latent classes were high risk - low protective, high risk - high protective, low risk - high protective and low risk - low protective. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the high risk-low protective factor group had the highest suicidal ideation. Based on these results, practical implications and challenges were presented.

To this end, 1,146 multicultural adolescents who were enrolled in high school and whose fathers were Korean were selected as subjects of analysis as data for the 7th year of the Multicultural Youth Panel (MCAPS). As a result, first, it was found that self-esteem, which was an individual factor, and adaptation to school life and multicultural acceptance, which are social and environmental factors, positive effect career decision-making. Second, it was found that depression as an emotional factor and neglect as a parent factor had a negative effect on career decision-making. However, it was confirmed that stress as an individual factor, and parent-child communication as a parent factor did not affect career decision-making. These results are meaningful in that they provided basic data on how to deal with each factor and prevent multicultural youths from wandering in advance without deciding their career paths.

  • This study was attempted to determine the satisfaction of nursing students' online classes in the situation of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to identify factors affect it. This study conducted a survey on nursing students 220 in Daegu-Gyeongbuk area for a month in April 2021. The collected data were subjected to t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of analyzing the factors affecting the online class satisfaction of nursing students, the learner factor (β=.29, p<.001) and the system factor (β=.51, p<.001) had a statistically significant effect, the variable with the greatest relative influence was the system factor. As online classes are expected to expand even after the end of COVID-19, for a change to education that can increase the satisfaction of learners, through the development of an online operating system suitable for learning and establishing a foundation for learners to learn independently A paradigm shift in nursing education is necessary.
