등척성 요부 근력강화 운동과 요부 안정화운동이 요부 근력과 신전 범위에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Lumbar Stabilization and Isometric Lumbar Strengthening Exercises on Lumbar Strength and Extension Range in Healthy Young Adults)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of lumbar stabilization exercise (LSE) and isometric lumbar strengthening exercise (ILSE) on lumbar strength and lumbar extension range in healthy young adults. Method : Ten healthy young adults (six males and four females) volunteered to carry out the LSE and ILSE program for two weeks. The subjects were randomly allocated to two groups: the LSE group (n=5) and the LSE plus ILSE group (n=5). The LSE consisted of 20 minutes of exercise related to lumbar stabilization, and the ILSE was composed of five minutes of isometric stabilization exercise with a specific device. Each group exercised three times per week for two weeks. Assessment tools were made using the subjects' isometric lumbar strength and lumbar extension range before and after the interventions. Results : Statistical analysis revealed significant differences in isometric lumbar strength and the lumbar extension range between before and after the interventions in each group (p<.05). Also, the lumbar extension range improved significantly in the LSE plus ILSE group compared to the LSE group; however, there was no statistically significant difference in the two groups' isometric lumbar strength (p>.05). Conclusion : The findings suggest that ILSE might be feasible in clinical settings by offering benefits for lumbar function. Future studies will be continued.

오타고 운동에 따른 뇌졸중환자의 신체기능 및 장애물 보행의 변화 (The Change of Physical Function and Obstacle Gait on Otago Exercise in Patients with Stroke)

  • 이 연구는 뇌졸중환자를 대상으로 낙상예방을 위하여 오타고운동과 요부안정화운동을 실시하고 신체기능 및 장애물 보행의 변화를 측정하였다. 뇌졸중환자 20명을 대상으로 신체기능은 근력, 균형능력을 측정하였고, 장애물 보행은 장애물 극복속도와 최대수직여유를 측정하여 운동 전과 운동 후, 각 운동군 간을 비교분석하였다. 근력은 30초 의자에서 앉았다 일어나기, 균형은 FRT와 TUG 검사, 그리고 장애물 보행은 장애물 극복속도와 최대수직여유로 측정하였다. 실험결과 운동 후 ?고운동군은 요부안정화운동군에 비해 FRT와 장애물 극복속도는 유의하게 증가되었으며, TUG는 유의하게 감소되었다. 결론적으로 오타고 운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 신체기능 및 장애물 보행에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.

Fin 수영 선수의 족부, 요부 및 견갑부의 등속성 근 기능에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Isokinetic Strength on Ankle, Lumbar and Shoulder in Fin Swimmer)

  • Fin 수영 선수의 등속성 근 기능을 분석하여 선수 선발 및 트레이닝에 활용하기 위하여 fin 수영 선수군과 일반 수영 선수군의 족부, 요부 및 견감부의 등속성 근 기능을 비교 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1) 족관절의 족저굴곡력은 좌 우측의 각 속도 $30^{\circ}/sec$$180^{\circ}/sec$에서는 두 집단간에 유의한 차이가 각각 나타났다. 그러나, 두 집단 모두 좌 우측간에는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 2) 족관절의 족배굴곡력은 우측의 각 속도 $30^{\circ}/sec$에서 두 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 3) 요부의 신전근력은 각 속도 $60^{\circ}/sec$에서 두 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 4) 견갑부의 굴곡근력은 우측의 각 속도 $60^{\circ}/sec$$180^{\circ}/sec$에서 두 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한, 수영집단의 굴곡근력은 각 속도 $60^{\circ}/sec$$180^{\circ}/sec$에서 좌 우측간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 살펴볼 때 fin 수영군은 족부와 요부에 유의하게 높은 등속성 근 기능을 보이고 있어 선수 선발 및 이들 부위의 근 기능을 강화시킬 수 있는 트레이닝 방법을 적용한다면 경기력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다.

천골후두골 테크닉을 이용한 카이로프랙틱이 만성 요통환자의 통증과 신체기능에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Chiropractic Using Sacro Occipital Technique on Pain and Physical Function in Patients with Low Back Pain)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 천골후두골 테크닉을 이용한 카이로프랙틱이 만성 요통환자의 통증과 신체기능에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 만성요통이 있는 여성 45명을 세 실험군에 15명씩 무선할당하여 디버시파이드 테크닉, 천골 후두골 테크닉 또는 두 테크닉을 혼합하여 주 2회, 8주간 시술하였다. 무처치 대조군은 요통이 없는 건강한 여성 12명으로 구성되었다. 시술 전, 4주후, 8주후에 요통은 시각적상사척도, Oswestry와 Roland-Morris 요통장애지수로 측정하였고, 신체기능은 요부 근력과 유연성 및 체형으로 평가하였다. 처치 4주와 8주 후 대조군에서는 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않은 반면, 세 실험군 모두에서 요통강도와 요통장애지수가 유의하게 감소하였으며(모두 p<.001), 요부근력과 유연성 및 어깨와 골반 균형도 향상되었다(모두 p<.05). 결론적으로 천골후두골 테크닉과 디버시파이드 테크닉을 이용한 카이로프랙틱 시술 모두 요통환자의 통증의 경감과 기능 향상에 효과적인 것으로 사료된다.

청년기 여성의 악력, 요부근력, 슬관절근력과 각 해당부위별 골밀도의 관계 (Relationship of Strength of Hand Grip, Low Back Muscles and Knee Joint Muscles, to Bone Mineral Densities of these Sites in Young Women)

  • Purpose: The strength of hand grip, low back muscles and knee joint muscles were measured and then compared to the bone mineral density (BMD) of each forearm bones (including ulna and radius), lumbar spine, and femur in young women in order to identify the relationship between muscle strength and bone mineral density. Method: The BMD was measured with a Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry and muscle strength was measured with a handgrip dynamometer and a Cybex Norm. Data were analyzed with frequencies, percentages, means, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Result: 1) Higher grip strength correlated positively with higher BMD in the forearm (r=.246, p=.007), higher low back extensor strength with higher BMD in the femur (neck, trochanter and Ward's triangle)($r=.323{\sim}.226$, $p=.003{\sim}.043$) and higher strength in the knee joint extensor with higher BMD in the lumbar spine (r=.227, p=.041), femur neck, and femur trochanter significantly ($r=.295{\sim}.226$, $p=.007{\sim}.043$). There was no significant correlation between the strength of low back extensors and BMD in the lumbar spine, now with strength of knee joint flexor and the BMD in the femur. 2) The muscle strength of each part of the body had significant positive correlations to each other part ($r=.255{\sim}.728$ $p=.021{\sim}.000$) Conclusion: The results of this study showed that with the development of a muscle there was an increased BMD of the corresponding part, and the BMD of each part was influenced by adjacent muscles. To promote the health of bones, it is important to strengthen the muscles of related bones, based on balanced development of all muscles.

요통이 있는 여성을 위한 수지요법과 요부강화 운동 프로그램 적용효과 (Effects of the Hand Acupressure and Lumbar Strengthening Exercise on Women with Lower Back Pain)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the hand acupressure and lumbar strengthening exercise on young adult women with back pain. Methods: The study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 37 female young adults (19 persons in the experimental group and 18 persons in the control group). The hand acupressure and strengthening exercise for lower back were developed by the investigator and a hand acupressure expert. The experimental group was exposed to this program 5 days a week for 4 weeks. The visual analog scale, back muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life were used as measurement instruments. The data were analyzed with frequency, t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS 18.0. Results: In this study, the hand acupressure and strengthening exercise showed siginificant effects on the back muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life in the experimental group compared to the control group. However, back pain score was not significantly decreased after the program. Conclusion: The study suggests that this program can be applied for the women with low back pain in order to enhance the back muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life.

운동성 테이핑이 정상인의 요부근력 및 유연성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Kinesio taping on Lumbar muscle strength and Flexibility)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of kinesio taping on lumbar muscle strength and flexibility. The samples for this study were 61 normal subjects(35 experimental group, 26 control group), aged 19 to 29 years. The data were analyzed by paired t-test. pearson and bivariate correlations. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The lumbar muscle strength was significant change in the experimental group(p<0.05). 2. The lumbar muscle strength was no significant change in the control group(p>0.05). 3. The flexibility was significant change in the experimental group and control group(p<0.05). 4. The lumbar muscle strength and flexibility were high associated in between session reliability(p<0.05).

건강성인에서 고관절 각도와 기립근 테이핑이 요부신전력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Effects of the Hip Angles and Kinesio-taping on Lumbar extension strength in healthy adults)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 고관절 굴곡각도와 키네시오 테이핑이 요부신전력에 미치는 영향에 대한 효과를 보기위한 것이다. 건강한 40명의 참가자(남성: 20명, 여성: 20명)을 대상으로 하였다. $0^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, $40^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$, $80^{\circ}$의 고관절 굴곡상태에서 요부신전력 측정기를 사용하여 신전력을 측정하였다. 요부신전력의 측정 및 비교를 위해 독립표본 t-검정, 대응표본 t-검정, 상관분석과 ANOVA를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요부신전력을 가장 크게 발휘한 고관절 굴곡 각도는 남성 $40^{\circ}$, 여성 $40^{\circ}$로 나타났다. 둘째, 테이핑 후에 요부신전력의 통계학적 변화가 나타난 것은 남성에서 $80^{\circ}$를 제외한 모든 각도($0^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, $40^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$, $80^{\circ}$)에서 나타났다. 이런 결과들은 배부근력이 들기 작업 시에 고관절 굴곡각도와 키네시오 테이핑에 의해 영향을 받는다고 할 수 있다.

요부안정화운동이 여성 노인의 요부 및 하지 근력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Lumbar Stabilization Exercise on Lumbar and Lower Extremity Strength of the Elderly women)

  • Objective : This study aims to examine how lumbar stabilization exercise and resistive exercise affect lumbar and lower extremity muscular strength of the aged. Method : Randomly selected 15 female senior citizens aged 65 or older at S, Y, and J senior citizens' center located in D city who meet the requirements for the study were divided into a resistive exercise group of 7 and a stabilization exercise group of 8 for which 60-minute-exercise sessions were administered three times a week for 12 weeks. Measuring lumbar and lower extremity muscular strength was measured six weeks and 12 weeks after exercise, respectively. Results : First, both resistive exercises and stabilization exercises are effective to improve lumbar muscular strength. Second, resistive exercise is effective to improve flexural muscle strength as well as lower extremity muscular strength, and stabilization exercise is effective for both flexion and extensor muscle strength. Conclusion : The 12 week lumbar stabilization exercise program appeared to be effective to improve lumbar and lower extremity muscular strength of the aged. This indicates that applying this program to identify and prevent frequent risk factors of falling can lead to the prevention of secondary problem factors of falling accidents.

교사와의 상호작용을 통한 주기적인 척추운동이 청소년의 요부근력과 균형 감각에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Regularly Spine Strength Exercise on Lumbar Muscle Strength and Balance Ability in Teenager with Tutor)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of regularly strength exercise of spine in teenagers with tutor. Method: Study subjects were 24 middle school students. They were arranged to 2 groups(n=12, respectively). Then experimental group did regularly strength exercise of spine as the handout maneuver during 50min/day and 1day/week in 8 weeks with tutor, but control group did regularly exercise of spine as same maneuver without tutor. For muscle strength of both extensor and flexor of lumbar, the balancing ability and weight distribution index were measured before and after the intervention. Results: For muscle strength of both extensor and flexor of lumbar, there was not significant differences after the intervention, but both flexor and extensor increase mean value of muscle strength than control group. For balancing ability and weight distribution index, there were not significant difference after intervention(p>.05), but experimental group show a tendency to decrease in a few position than control group. Conclusion: When teenagers regularly exercise for spine strengthening for a long time with tutor, it may be increased muscle strength of lumbar and trunk balance.
