This study deals with literature review, developing a predicting equation for the ultimate stress of prestressing steel, and experimental test with the parameters affecting the ultimate stress of prestressing steel in reinforced concrete beams strengthened by external prestressing. The ACI predicting equation for the ultimate stress of unbonded prestressing steel is analyzed to develop a new integrated predicting equation. The proposed predicting equation takes rationally the effect of internal reinforcing bars into consideration as a function of prestressing steel depth to neutral depth ratio. In the experimental study, steel reinforced concrete beams strengthened using external prestressing steel are tested with the test parameters having a large effect on the ultimate stress of prestressing steel. The test parameters includes reinforcing bar and external prestressing steel reinforcement ratios, and span to depth ratio. The test results are analyzed to confirm the rationality and applicability of the proposed equation for predicting the ultimate stress of external prestressing steel.

External linkages affect the performance of small and medium enterprises in diverse ways. This study delves into the impact of inter-organizational collaboration by looking at different facets of performance, such as innovation, sales growth, profit growth, and firm survival. In addition, it explores the influence of informal knowledge spillover from collaborative partners as well as from formal collaborations. The impact is carefully investigated by dividing firm samples into three different sectoral innovation categories: supplier-dominant, production-intensive, and science-based sector suggested by Pavitt (1984). The result highlights the different influence pattern of collaborative relations by partner types according to sectoral categories. The positive results of collaborating with universities and public institutions are identified, and the sales growth by customer linkage is witnessed. The impact is apparent in science-based sectors. The result implies that the risk associated with collaborating with competitors may be moderated by linking performance enhancing collaborative linkages with universities and government institutes.

This study has examined the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation(EO), dynamic capability(DC) and export performance of international new ventures(INVs). Also, the moderating effect of external environment factors(the hostility at domestic markets and the industrial dynamics) were analysed. Empirical analysis was performed on 101 INVs. It was conducted using the PLS(Partial Least Square). The result of empirical analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between EO, DC and export performance. The result of moderating effect showed that two external environment factors have positive moderating effect on the relationship between EO and DC. However, there was not moderating effect of external environment factors on the relationship between DC and export performance.

This paper investigates the relationship between external search strategy and radical innovation performance. As the discrepancies that can exist among the varying sources of external knowledge is overlooked, the existing literature on the effect of external search strategy on radical innovation performance remains inconclusive. This study aims to reconcile such mixed findings by recognizing that external knowledge can be distinctive depending on the environment in which its source is embedded in; specifically, this paper examines the relationship between external search strategy and radical innovation performance by distinguishing external search from 'market' and 'non-market' relationships. We test our hypotheses with a sample of 431 firms from the manufacturing industries from the 2010 STEPI survey. Our empirical findings suggest that external search strategy from market relationships positively influences radical innovation performance, while the influence of external search strategy from non-market relationships is found to be not significant. Our research suggests that in order to improve radical innovation performance, firms must be able to maintain a cooperative relationship with other actors connected with market relationships and to effectively exploit the market knowledge obtained from these actors.

지난 15년간 한국경제는 두 번의 금융위기인 1997년의 아시아 금융위기와 2008년의 글로벌 금융위기로 인해 엄청난 경제손실을 입었다. 이와 같이 우리 경제의 고유한 문제이기 보다는 외부에서 발생한 일련의 사건들은 GDP와 같은 국내 거시경제지표들뿐만 아니라 국내 항만들의 컨테이너처리물동량에도 많은 영향을 주었다. 본 연구에서 두 번의 금융위기를 독립적이며 상이한 형태의 외부의 영향으로 가정한 뒤, 국내 항만들의 컨테이너처리물동량에 어떤 영향을 주었는지에 대한 개입분석을 수행한다. 그래서 각기 다른 충격들에 대한 컨테이너처리량을 변화와 함께 그 충격들 간의 특성규명을 통해 우리나라 항만산업에 다양한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

The business environment changing very fast with technology advance and convergence makes the role of R&D become more and more important to firms' success. By analyzing the 683 firm-level data of small and medium venture firms with the ordinary least squares regression, this study sheds new light on the following four points. First, small and medium venture firms' exterior R&D collaboration network heterogeneity positively impacts their import substitution from technology development. Second, the existence of the corporate R&D center moderates the positive impact of small and venture firms' exterior R&D collaboration network heterogeneity on their import substitution from technology development. Third, small and venture firms' exterior R&D information network heterogeneity positively impacts their import substitution from technology development. Fourth, The existence of the corporate R&D center moderates the positive influence of small and venture firms' exterior R&D information network heterogeneity on their import substitution from technology development.

Field에 설치된 PV모듈은 가혹한 외부 환경에 노출되어 외부 하중, 온도 변화, 자외선, 수분 등의 영향을 받게 된다. 특히 PV모듈 내부로 수분이 침투 하였을 경우에는 태양전지와 전극의 부식 등 발전성능을 크게 저하시킬 수 있다. 이러한 외부 환경으로부터 태양전지가 안정적으로 발전할 수 있도록 PV 모듈은 전면재료인 유리와 후면재료인 Back Sheet를 진공 상태에서 압력을 가해 봉합하는 Lamination 공정을 거쳐 제작 되어 진다. 특히 Lamination 공정에 사용되는 EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate)는 PV모듈의 내구성능을 좌우할 수 있는 가장 중요한 재료중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 Lamination 공정에 사용되어지는 EVA의 수분 침투의 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 공정 조건에 따른 EVA에 침투 되는 수분의 양을 확인하기 위해 Lamination 공정 조건을 변경하여 실험을 진행하였다. 그리고 외부 환경 변화에 의한 영향을 확인하기 위해 EVA가 수분에 노출 되는 시간과 온도를 변화시켜 보았다. 실험의 결과는 외부에 노출된 PV 모듈의 내부에 침투할 수 있는 수분의 양을 예상할 수 있게 하며, 수분 침투에 의한 내구성의 저하를 감소시키기 위한 최적의 Lamination 공정 조건과 봉합재 선정을 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다.

온실의 차광설계에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하기 위하여 온실모형과 실험온실을 이용하여 외부차광재의 적정 설치간격 분석, 차광재별 광투과율 분석, 차광율에 따른 온실내부온도의 변화 분석, 차광이 온실내부의 지온변화에 미치는 영향분석 및 외부차광과 내부차광의 차광효과 비교를 실시하였다. 외부경사차광시 온실 지붕과 차광재의 설치간격은 10-30cm에서 차광효율이 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났으나 환기창의 개폐를 위한 공간이 필요하지 않는 온실에서는 10cm 정도이면 충분한 간격이 될 것으로 판단된. (중략)

열상카메라는 빛이 전혀 없는 야간에도 선명한 영상을 획득할 수 있도록 구성된 장비이다. 이러한 열상카메라는 야간 영상 획득에 있어서 많은 분야에서 사용되고 또한 반드시 사용되어야만 한다. 또한 열상카메라를 구성하기 위하여 사용되는 렌즈의 재질은 온도에 대한 굴절률의 변화가 크고 경도가 낮아 외부 환경에 대한 영향성이 크다. 열상카메라의 성능에 영향을 주는 외부 환경 요소로는 열상카메라가 사용되는 환경에서 발생하는 진동의 요인과 내부 및 외부로부터 받는 온도에 대한 요인이다. (중략)
