The aim of this study is to shed light on factors that influence securing of university research grants. For this purpose, this study emphasizes the role of management capability of industry-university cooperation foundation in securing research grants. We analyze whether the potential capabilities influence research grants using panel data from 194 universities during 2016 to 2018. The results obtained from the Driscoll & Kraay standard errors (DKSE) indicate that a number of variables including the portion of industry-university collaboration professors, academic performance of professors, and the number of paid researchers are positively associated with the amount of external research grant approved. However, the percentage of employees employed for less than two years is negatively related with securing external research grants. Once the dependent variable is measured by the total university research grants, the negative coefficient of employees with short-term career disappears. Instead, the percentage of employees who are in charge of research planning and management and the total number of employees involved in industry-university collaboration foundations are negatively related with the total university research grant amounts.

국가 R&D 사업에 대한 예비타당성조사 시 R&D 중복성에 대한 검토는 중복된 투자를 방지하여 재정 투자의 효율성을 높이는데 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 예비타당성조사 담당자들을 대상으로 중복성 검토에 대한 중요요인, 개선사항, 판단기준, 판단주체에 대한 설문조사 분석을 진행하였고, 외부 전문가 그룹의 인식차이와 비교하였다. 설문조사 결과에 대한 통계 분석을 통해 중복성 검토에서 가장 중요한 요인은 '중복성 판단기준, 시스템의 데이터베이스 및 검색 알고리즘'으로 확인되었고, 3가지 요인에 대한 개선이 중복성 검토를 개선하는데 가장 중요함을 확인하였다. 또한 다중회귀분석을 통해 주요 요인들이 중복성 검토결과의 정확성에 미치는 영향성을 분석하여 요인들의 유의성에 대해 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 예비타당성 조사 시 R&D 중복성에 대한 검토가 향후 어떤 방향으로 개선되어야하는지에 대해 시사점이 제시된다.

In this study, we analyzed the main factors contributing to SCM quality improvement. The external factors influencing the SCM are environmental aspects and aspects of cooperation with other companies. Internal factors include agility management, flexibility management, and uncertainty management. We analyzed how the factors on each side can improve the quality of SCM and proposed new measures to improve overall SCM performance.

Using small and medium sized firms located on 3th seongseo industry complex in Daegu, this study investigated the effects of technology development factors on innovation performance, and suggested the implications in terms of technology policies. Technology development factors are categorized into both fundamental based factors and external cooperation based factors as independent variables. According to the research results, external cooperation based factor positively affects innovation performance, and this positive effect is reported in firms having more than average firm size. Under environment uncertainty, external cooperation based factor plays a key role to increase innovation performance to firms having more than average firm size. Therefore, policy making should be focused on external cooperation, not on fundamental base such as people and infrastructure, and also dissimilar policy suggestion based firm size is needed to be considered.

Korean hospitals implement external quality assessment (EQA) schemes to improve the quality of clinical tests. However, smaller hospital do not implement EQA due to lack of appreciation and cost burdens. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of EQA from the perspective of clinical chemistry carried out at a small-to-medium sized hospital (SMH) and to investigate factors influencing quality control. The medical institution concerned had performed EQA on 21 items annually for three years and had analyzed measurement methods, variation coefficients, and anomalous results as defined by the SMH. No significant change in test methods or variation coefficients, which exhibited a high level of variation, were observed for any test item over the 3-year period. The results obtained showed that anomalous test results were significantly more frequent when EQA was not conducted (p<0.05), internal quality control was not conducted daily (p<0.01), and when tests were less frequently performed (p<0.01). Small-to-medium sized hospitals need to be more aware of the benefits of EQA and provide tailored education to staff.

외부의 자극에 따른 인간 감성 변화의 실체를 파악하고자 심리학, 생리학, 의공학 등의 분야에서 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 본 논문은 fMRI의 기본 원리와 지금까지 저자들의 fMRI 연구 내용을 중심으로 감성 변화의 측정에 이용 또는 응용 가능성이 있는 실험 결과들에 대해서 서술하고자 한다. 먼저 자극강도에 따른 해당피질에서의 활성화 영역의 분석을 통해 외부 자극과 반응 영역간의 정량적인 측정이 가능하다는 것을 보였다. 둘째로 시간축 신호의 해석을 통해 감성 변화의 추이를 관찰할 수 있다는 것을 보였다. 마지막으로 간섭요인 (소음)이 뇌기능에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석을 통해 감성의 변화가 이의의 뇌기능 수행에 미치는 영향을 유추해 보았다.

The dissemination of smart devices has made a lot of changes in overall social activities. In particular, people use various types of smart devices in their spare time, such as watching video clips, but there is a lack of research on external factors influencing the attitude toward using such devices. Therefore, in this study, the effects of video viewing environmental factors (e.g. screen size and video length) and personal factors (e.g. gender and need for entertainment) on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitude to use devices based on technology acceptance model. As a result of analyzing 660 users having different smart devices, the attitude to use smart devices is more positive as the screen size increases, but there is no difference according to gender. In addition, while the length of video clips does not affect the attitude to use, the need for entertainment positively affects the attitude to use. Based on the results of this study, we expect that it can be used for optimized customer marketing and management strategy that integrates product development and video content production in consideration of factors such as video viewing environmental factors and personal factors.

This study conducted empirical analysis on the factors affecting the investment performance of 205 domestic venture funds (with a total liquidation amount of 7.25 trillion KRW) newly formed from 2007 to 2017 and completely liquidated as of the end of 2022. Due to the nature of private equity funds, obtaining empirical data is extremely challenging, especially for data post-COVID-19 era liquidations. Nevertheless, despite these challenges, it is meaningful to analyze the impact on the investment returns of domestic venture funds using the most recent data available from the past 10 years. This study categorized the factors influencing venture fund performance into external environmental factors and internal factors. External environmental factors included "economic cycles," "stock markets," "venture markets," and "exit markets," while internal factors included the fund management company's capabilities in terms of "experience," "professional personnel," and "assets under management (AUM)." The fund structure was also categorized into "fund size" and "fund length" for comparative analysis. In summary, the analysis yielded the following results: First, the 3-year government bond yield, which represents economic cycles well, was found to have a significant impact on fund performance. Second, the average 3-month KOSDAQ index return after fund formation had a statistically significant positive effect on fund performance. Third, the number of IPOs, indicating the competition intensity at the time of venture fund liquidation, was shown to have a negative effect on fund performance. Fourth, it was observed that the larger the AUM of the fund management company, the better the fund's returns. Finally, venture fund returns showed variations depending on the year of formation (Vintage). Therefore, when individuals consider investing in venture funds, it is considered a highly effective investment strategy to construct an investment portfolio taking into account not only external environmental factors and internal fund factors but also the vintage year.

Traditionally intangible assets have been neglected in measuring management performance in the area of business. However as knowledge based times is coming, the importance of intangible assets have been evermore attentive then before. The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between management performance and intangible assets of resort condominium in Korea. This paper categorizes intangible assets into customer relations asset, cooperative business partner asset, and service operations competence based asset and find relationship between these assets with management performance.

This study is designed to find out what kinds of factors influence the application of RFID system to the library. This study is followed by theoretically reviewing the RFID and the application RFID system to the library. Theoretical study models are developed by expanding the social influence, perceived risk, job relevance, support, and self-efficacy after Based on Technology Acceptance Model that provides useful theoretical foundations for setting the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention of application to the library of RFID system as the core of a study model. The affecting factors of application of the RFID system to the library are presented by empirically studying this study model.
