콘크리트 교량의 외부강선 보강을 위한 앵커키 정착장치의 개발 연구 (Development of the Bracket for External Prestressing Method for Slab Bridge)

  • This study is to develop the end anchorage of external steel reinforcement of RC slab bridges. External prestress method using the existing steel is that When the anchorage is installed in slab end, a plenty of anchor bolts were required because the only tangential stress of anchor bolt received a tendon force. Then, for this reason, the wide end anchorage was required and the shape was complicate. But this reinforcement method using method that inserts anchor key at concrete surface cut a groove gets big internal force comparing to the anchorage using existing anchor bolt. Furthermore, the number of anchor bolt for installing apparently will be reduced, and the operation will be convenient because a small anchorage of a simple shape will be received a great tendon force.

  • External pre-stressing strengthening method is the most popular way to strengthen concrete structures because of its efficiency and economic advantage. The laboratory test was performed to reinforce the slave bridge with the external tendon strengthening by longitudinally and transversally, which is concerned with formal feature of slave bridge, generally. Based on this test, anchoring device to strengthen the external tendon strengthening method was established and its strengthening effects were verified by evaluating the load bearing capacity.

  • This study is to develop a strengthening method for RC slab bridges and rigid-frame bridges with external prestressing. In this study, we design the slab specimen that have a strengthening of the DB-13 and set up the longitudinal tendons placed on both side of slab strengthens the whole bridge, and lateral tendons placed under the slab strengthens the middle of slab, and conveys the load at middle slab to both sides. Structural analysis for the tensile force for strengthening were analysed and we know that displacement and strain was improved from this test. This method has no upward roof work, so it is very convenient for installing. And no spaces under the slab are need, so it is good for shallow slabs which has less space inder the slab.

  • This paper presents an analytical prediction of Nonlinear characteristics of prestressed concrete bridges by strengthened of externally tendon considering the work sequence, using beam-column element based on flexibility method and tendon element. The beam-column element was developed with reinforced concrete material nonlinearities which are based on the smeared crack concept. The fiber hysteresis rule of beam-column element is derived from the uniaxial constitutive relations of concrete and reinforcing steel fibers. The tendon element represent the bonded tendon and unbonded tendon behaviors. Beam-column element and tendon element was be subroutine A computer program, named RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), for the analysis of RC and PSC structures was used. The proposed numerical method for prestressed concrete structures by strengthened of externally tendon is verified by comparison with reliable experimental results.

  • This study is for the strengthening method of continuous bridge through external tendon strengthening that is the most general and effective among concrete bridge's strengthening method. Recently, it is numerous that slab's parts between spans have continuity for improving trafficable ability. However, in this case, slab would have a crack; bridge's durability would be damaged, and also it is too difficult to manage and maintain bridge due to the tensile strength of negative moment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to demonstrate load-carrying through experiments and develop new external pre-stressing strengthening method for reinforcing continuous bridge.

  • With a rapid industrialization, repair and strengthening methods for a damaged bridges are raised a head in face of safety and reduction of physical distribution costs of bridges. Above all, external prestressing method has the high adaptability for concrete structures and the reliable effect of strengthening. Innovative ideas for bridges strengthening were considered along with established methods. That methods are identified, described. However there is not a systematic and categorized manual for external prestressing method. This study will provide a systematic and reliable manual with investigating the arrangement shape of cable and characteristics of brackets. And the key result of this study is an extensive compilation, which can be used by practicing engineers, of the most effective techniques for strengthening existing bridges.

  • External prestressing method is the most papular method to strengthen concrete structures. The key parts of external prestressing method is an anchoring device which holds the prestressing cables. The most popular anchoring devices is an end bearing type, which has to be welded at site to assamble the anchor. The welding at site has a significant Quality problem. In this paper, new anchoring system has been developed, which needs no site welding. A design method for the new anchor has been proposed and developed to optimize the anchoring system. The developed anchors are very efficient, small, and compact, which have two types, one for abutment section and the other one for pier section. The anchors are expected to be used very widely, because of its convinience.

RC보의 부착보강공법과 외부강선보강공법의 유효응력에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Stress of RC Beams in Applying the Adhesion Reinforced and the External Post-Tensioning Method)

  • This study was performed to compare the load-carrying capacities of the reinforced concrete structure between the carbon fiber adhesion reinforcement method and the external post-tensioning method and further estimate the effective stress of the reinforced material by analyzing the experimental reinforcing effect of each method and the behavior resulting from each method. As a result, it was found out that the effective stress of the carbon fiber reinforcement according to the carbon fiber adhesion reinforcement method had an unexpected value, and also, bearing of the stress was found to be far from sharing thereof. That is to say, while the carbon fiber was bearing the whole stress to some limits, it got to be momentarily ruptured as soon as it went beyond such limits. On the other hand, the external post-tensioning method has the advantage of inducing an initial effective stress by introducing a strain, and thus, it was found that behavior or bearing of the stress was also found to be a solid behavior of the steel wire. This method was also found to be more efficient and excellent than the carbon fiber adhesion reinforcement method in the reinforcing effect or securing the effective stress. Accordingly, we were to discuss the effective stress as comparatively examined, focusing on deriving of the more enhanced reinforcing effect on the basis of the experiment to which the field characteristic is added.

현장조사를 통한 철도 고가교 구조물의 내구성 평가 및 결함 패턴 분석 (Durability Evaluation and Defect Pattern Analysis in Railway Bridge Through Field Investigation)

  • 설계시의 결함, 사용 중의 손상, 극한 환경에 장기간 노출에 따른 열화로 인해, 콘크리트 구조물의 성능은 감소된다. 본 논문은 8개 구역을 가진 대도시 철도 고가교에 대한 현장조사를 수행하고 내구성 평가를 수행한 연구이다. 대상 구조물에 대하여, 현장조사를 수행하여 내구성능을 평가하였으며, 사용상의 문제점을 도출하였다. 또한 내구지수-환경지수 산정법을 이용하여 현 상태의 상부구조 및 하부구조에 대한 내구성 확보기간을 평가하였으며, 이상적인 준공상태를 가정한 조건으로 도출된 내구성 확보기간과 비교하였다. 대상 구조물은 RC T형교, PSC 거더교, RC 박스교, 라멘교 등이 포함되어 있었으며, 각 구조형식에 따른 문제점을 분석하였다. PSC 거더의 단부균열, PSC 거더의 휨균열, 외부강선보강 정착부 균열, RC 박스의 휨균열, RC T형교의 휨균열을 주된 문제점으로 평가되었으며, 이를 패턴화하여 원인을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 각 구간의 열화에 따른 보수시기의 계획에 효과적인 자료로 사용되어질 수 있다.
