최근 백화점, 할인점, 대형 마트 등의 대형 매장이 하루가 다르게 늘어나고 있다. 특히 대형 할인점은 국내기업과 외국기업간에 시장 점유율을 높이기 위하여 매장을 계속하여 늘려 가고 있고, 이에 따라 인근 중소형 마트 매장은 경쟁력을 상실하고 폐업하는 사태가 속출하고 있다. 이러한 유통시장 변화는 계란유통도 변화를 가져오리라 보는데 대형 할인매장 중심으로 계란유통현황을 살펴보았다.

고현진 한국소프트웨어진흥원장은 IBM에서 시작해 썬마이크로시스템즈, MS 등 외국계 IT기업에서만 20년 경력을 쌓은 SW 배테랑이다. 다국적 기업에서 잔뼈가 굵은 고현진 원장은 국내 소프트웨어 산업계를 살릴 구원투수로 선택돼 정부 출연기관인 소프트웨어진흥원에 취임한지 벌써 7개월을 맞았다. 고현진 원장을 찾은 시간은 오후 2시20분. 2시30분이 약속 시간이었지만 원장실에는 미팅이 한창 진행 중이었다. 수시로 고 원장을 만나기 위해 원장실을 방문하는 이들도 많았다. 이로 인해 미팅이 30분이나 지연됐다. 하지만 내 뒤로도 미팅을 위해 대기하는 이가 있어 쫓기는 기분으로 인터뷰가 이뤄졌다.

The role of the foreign direct investment is very crucial for the regional economic growth nowadays. The inward FDI in Korea has been increased since the Act of foreigner investment promotion in 1998. The municipal and national government have designated the special industrial zones and supported the diverse incentives for the foreign investment companies. The service sector had a large share of inward FDI. However, manufacturing sector overtook the service sector as the largest FDI in 2009. This study focuses on the greenfield manufacturing FDI, which was established from 1999 to 2012 in Korea. In order to find out the impacts of low-priced industrial electricity and loose environmental regulations on choosing Korea, this paper did in-depth interviews with MOTIE, Korea industrial complex, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, some FDI companies. Investment incentives such as low price of domestic industrial electricity strongly affect why manufacturing FDI companies choose Korea to invest. The Korean government has also acknowledges that low-price policy can internationally compete to attract FDI. There is a possibility that FDI energy-guzzling industrial companies may choose for Korea to use the low-priced electricity, raising the issue of supply-demand of electricity of Korea in the future.

Forfaiting is a trade finance facility whereby financial institution purchases accounts receivable from exporters on a without recourse basis to resolve exporters' credit risk. Since the effectuation of Uniform Rules for Forfaiting(URF 800), exporting companies have been interested in forfaiting and foreign exchange banks in South Korea have expanded products related to forfaiting. However, the risk management for dealing with forfaiting needs improvement. In this paper, we will compare current forfaiting risk managements between foreign exchange banks and foreign banks in South Korea by studying the agreements for each bank and standard forfaiting agreements of the ICC. There is a significant gap for risks covered and points of reserve(points of recourse) between each bank. This work suggests the need for unification for these gaps in order to enhance risk management for exporting companies and foreign exchange banks in South Korea.

한국남동발전(주) 여수화력발전처는 중화학업체들이 대거 입주한 여수국가산업단지에 전력을 공급하고 있다. 지난 1975년 중유발전으로 가동을 시작한 이후 80년대에는 오일쇼크를 겪으면서 가동을 중단하기도 했고, 이 때문에 외국계기업으로의 매각설까지 나돌았었다. 크고 작은 부침이 있었지만 90년대 재가동 이후 석탄발전으로 전환도 꾀하면서 발전용량도 200MW, 300MW에서 각각 350MW로 증설하고 있다. 여수화력발전처가 약 40여 년의 역사동안 변화와 성장을 거듭할 수 있었던 것은 황상연 처장의 노력이 크다. 1979년 한국전력에 입사해 상당기간을 여수에서 근무했던 그에게 36년 동안 쌓아온 발전경영에 대한 노하우를 들어봤다.

현재국내X인터넷시장에서는국내업체들의선전이지속되고있는가운데외국계기업들의시장참여로경쟁이 치열해지고 있다. 치열한 경쟁을 말해주듯 국내 X인터넷시장은 지난해 100억원대(라이선스 기준)의 시장규모를시작으로올해에는최소200억원대를돌파할것이라는것이업계의판단이다. 시장참여업체들의급격한증가에따른가격덤핑등이시장확장의걸림돌이되고있지만최소비용으로최대효과를얻을수 있는X인터넷의상승세는꺾지못할것이라는것이시장의전반적분위기다.

This study examines the work-life balance designing of new employees using qualitative research. Eight new employees at foreign IT companies in Korea were interviewed in two groups composed of two male workers and two female workers. The research determined two main themes and seven sub-themes related to the participants work-life balance using theme analysis. The first main theme was 'working conditions' which had sub-themes, 'performance-based system in foreign IT companies', 'flexible working conditions', 'family-friendly company culture', and 'positive evaluation of the company'. The second main theme was 'work-life balance' which included the sub-themes, 'changing priority during transitional periods of life', 'work-family balance designing as a family unit', and 'difficulties balancing between work and family'. The results revealed that workers prospected that flexible working condition might solve the demands of the child-rearing period and that work-family balance was determined as a family unit. Additionally, there were gender differences in the relationships between working conditions and work-life balance.

13억의 인구와 370만 평방마일의 영토를 가진 중국은 공산주의 경제체제에서 자본주의 경제체제를 도입하여 시장개방, 자유경쟁 경제방식으로 전환함에 따라서 급격한 경제성장을 이루어 국제통화기금(IMF)의 1993년 보고에 의하여 국내총생산액(GDP)가 1조 6천억$로 미국, 일본에 이어 세계 3위의 경제 성장을 이루어 경제강대국으로 부상하고 있고 아울러, 무한히 넓은 땅덩어리와 천연 및 인적자원을 기초로 한 앞으로의 성장잠재력이 크게 기대되어 미국, 일본을 비롯한 선진국이 중국에 대한 투자를 다방면으로 검토하기 시작했고 생명공학분야도 예외없이, 연구분야에는 포장시험, 임상시험 등 실용화 연구에 중국측 강점을 이용한 협동연구, 중국정부 자체가 상업화 가능성이 높다고 판단하는 Torch High Technology Development Center에의 외국기업이나 연구소의 참여 등으로 확대되고 있다. 산업계는 벤쳐 케피탈의 활성화를 통한 첨단기술에 대한 투자를 적극적으로 실시하는 한편, 제약 및 생명공학분야의 합작투자를 통해서 외국의 기술, 장비, 자본 및 노하우를 도입하고 있다. 우리나라는 여러 산업 분야에서 대중국 투자 또는 협력이 활발히 이루어지고 있지만, 생명공학 분야는 그렇지 못한 것 같다. 연구개발의 국제경쟁력은 우리나라의 자체 연구개발도 중요하지만, 아울러, 외국에 대한 연구 동향을 파악함과 가능한 분야에 대한 투자와 협력을 통한 공동관심과제의 도출은 중요한 의미를 갖는다.

This qualitative case study focused on the activation plan of flexible work arrangements. We selected eight workers from a foreign affiliated firm that has various flexible work arrangements for in-depth interview and focus group interview. The workers were categorized into two groups; those who have experiences with flexible working and those who have needs for flexible working. We analyzed their condition of work-family life and experiences with flexible working. Through the focus group interview, we can find out the needs and suggestions about activation plans of flexible work arrangements.

Many pharmaceutical companies operate the SFA system to support salespeople. The SFA system is used for various behaviors of salespeople. However, there is a lack of empirical analysis on the performance of SFA in Korea. The purpose of this study is to investigate the utilization of SFA system and the non - financial performance of SFA system. The subjects of the survey were 347 pharmaceutical community members who consisted of pharmaceutical salespeople and surveyed online for 18 days from March 13, 2018 to April 30, 2018. and the effective response rate was 23.1% (80/347). The analysis shows that the higher the level of SFA system utilization, the higher the non - financial performance. By type of company, the utilization level of multinational companies was higher than that of domestic companies. Among the SFA utilization level items, 1.47 points (3.65, 2.18) were higher than the domestic companies in terms of the support service items. Among the SFA performance items, foreign companies were 1.47 points (3.16, 1.69) Respectively. This suggests that the SFA development and operation method of the domestic company focuses on the management service rather than the support service for the salesperson and the customer satisfaction. Through this study, it is considered that domestic companies should strengthen sales person support and customer satisfaction information providing function when operating SFA system.
