  • Recently, there is an increasing number of startups in wine business because of the rapid growth of wine consumption. The entrepreneurs need support to prepare infrastructure of wine business. Entrepreneurship is a course of preparing funding, personnel, and technology for preliminary entrepreneurs. In this paper, we implement a wine recommendation application for preliminary entrepreneurs of preparing the wine business as part of the technical support project. The proposed application is to collect accurate data using barcode recognition technology. Finally, proposed application aims the building of the wine knowledge-base through the data analysis by applying efficient algorithms.

  • In this study, we used wine data to perform correlation analysis on factors that affect wine quality, and predicted wine quality standards based on the results. The dataset used in this study used data from 1599 red wines and 4898 white wines produced in Vinho verde, Portugal, for a total of 6497. The variable items are 12 kinds of component variables that represent wine components through physical and chemical analysis tests, a total of 1599 observations, and a total of one of the representative wines of the three major wine producing regions in the world (France, Italy, Spain). Added 3 pieces. Analysis was made by applying national climate change data.

  • The pattern of liquor consumers started to change as the well-being trend and great interest in health have risen for the last few years. In particular, consumption of wine is gradually increasing with the findings revealing that drinking proper amount of wine is good for preventing various adult diseases such as sclerosis of the arteries, heart disease and aging. Accordingly, this study aims at understanding the importance of wine buyers' choice attributes when buying and drinking wine in order to contribute to satisfying customers, popularizing wine and expanding its base. From December 1 to 31 in 2008, it made a survey on natives and weekly settled population living in Seoul area who had bought wine at a wine retail shop with literature and positive researches. It made an application of SPSS 12.0 to analyze the importance of wine buyers' choice attribution based on the demographical characteristics and use behavior with such analysis methods as the frequency analysis, the factor analysis, the reliability test, ANOVA and multiple regression. The results are summarized as follows. First, it showed that there are significant differences between buying and drinking wine by producing countries, buying places, prices, companions except for the number of drinking times, drinking places, and information sources. Second, it showed that wine buyers' choice attributes such as brand characteristics and effects on health have a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

A Study on the Ichthyofauna of Tongbok Lake and its upper Streams from Autumn to Winter (동복호(同福湖)와 그 상류수계(上流水系)의 추(秋).동계(冬季) 어류상(魚類相)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • The ichthyofauna was investigated in Tongbok Lake and its tributaries from October, 1992 to January, 1993. Twenty-nine species representing 23 genera and 10 families were collected. Twenty-eight species in 22 genera and 9 families were from the stream area, while sixtween species in 14 genera and 7 families were from the lake area. Among these 14 species were classified as endemic species in Korea. Dominent species in the stream area were Zacco temmincki(28.04%) and Z. platypus (16.76%), whereas the lake area was overwhelmingly dominated by Hypomesus olidus(55.22%) and Z. platypus(44.31%). In the stream area. species diversity indices, evenness indices and dominant indices were 1.056, 0.730 and 0.270, respectively. In the area, the indices for species diversity, evenness and dominance were 0.314, 0.261 and 0.739, and those of body weights were 0.361, 0.300 and 0.700, respectively.

Effects of Dietary Taurine on the Abdominal Fat Weight and Serum and Liver Concentrations of Cholesterol in Broiler Chicks (사료 내 타우린 첨가가 육계의 복강지방 무게 및 혈청과 간의 콜레스테롤 농도에 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of dietary taurine on the abdominal fat weight and serum and liver concentrations of cholesterol were investigated with male broiler chicks. One-day old chicks were allocated to one of three taurine supplemented diets: 0 (control), 1 and 2%. Body weight gain of chicks fed the diet supplemented with 2% taurine decreased by 6% compared to the control (P$\prec$0.05). However, feed conversion ratio was not different among treatments. Liver weight and ratio of liver weight to body weight showed no difference among treatments. Abdominal fat weights were lower in 1% and 2% taurine supplementations by 14% and 20%, respectively, than that of the control (P$\prec$0.05). Serum concentrations of triglyceride, glucose, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase and glutamic pyruvic transaminase were not different among treatments. However, serum concentrations of total cholesterol were higher in 1% and 2% taurine supplementations by 10% and 12%, respectively, than that of the control (P$\prec$0.05). Also serum concentrations of HDL-cholesterol increased in 1% and 2% taurine supplementations by 20% and 34%, respectively, compared to the control (P$\prec$0.05). Concentrations of total cholesterol in liver decreased in 1% and 2% taurine supplementation by 9% and 13%, compared to the control (P$\prec$0.05). Also concentrations of HDL-cholesterol in liver were lower in 1.0% and 2.0% taurine supplementation by 20% and 38%, respectively, than that of the control (P$\prec$0.05). These results showed that taurine supplementation decreased the fat storage in abdominal cavity and affected on the cholesterol metabolism in liver of broiler chicks.

In vivo Metabolism of Flupyrazofos into Plutella xylostella (Lepidoptera: Yponomeutidae) and Spodoptera exigua (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) (배추좀나방과 파밤나방의 채내에서 Flupyrazofos의 대사)

  • In vivo metabolism study was carried out to find out the biochemical or metabolic tolerance mechanism between Diamond backmoth (DBM), Plutella xylostella and Beet armywarm (BAW), Spodoptera exigua to flupyrazofos. They showed some differences between the DBM and BAW. About 20% of flupyrazofos applied to the 3rd instar larvae of DBM was metabolized within 1 h and about 50% of that was metabolized within 4 h. The metabolites of flupyrazofos-oxon in 3rd instar larvae of DBM were increased 10 times more at 4 h than 1 h after application. The amounts of flupyrazol were nearly same between at 1 h and 4 h. The amount of unknown and origin increased 2 and 3 times more at 1 h than 4 h after application, respectively. In the 4th instar BAW larva, about 50% of flupyrazofos was metabolized within 1 h and about 70% of that was metabolized within 4 h. As metabolites, the amounts of flupyrazofos-oxon increased 2 times more at 4 h than 1 h after application. The amounts of flupyrazol increased 4 times more at 4 h than 1 h after application. The amount of unknown and origin increased 2.5 and 2 times more at 4 h than 1 h after application, respectively. From the study, it is supposed that hydrolytic enzyme, esterase, cleave the alkyl bond of flupyrazofos and conjugates with flupyrazofos. This seems to be the main tolerance mechanism of BAW to flupyrazofos.

Effect of Simvastatin on the Migration and Invasion of U-373-MG Cells (U-373-MG 세포의 이동 및 침윤에 미치는 simvastatin의 효과)

  • Simvastatins are widely used to reduce endogenous cholesterol synthesis and improve hypercholesterolemia. Also, simvastatin have been shown to induce both angiogenic and angiostatic responses. In this study, It was attempted to resolve this controversy by studying the effects of simvastatin on the cell migration and invasion with the proteinases secretion and expression pattern. U-373-MG cells treated with low dose of simvastatin ($0.001{\sim}0.5\;{\mu}M$) showed the induction of migration and invasion compared with the addition of a control buffer. On the contrary, high dose of simvastatin ($1{\sim}20\;{\mu}M$) showed the reduction of migration and invasion compared with the addition of a control buffer. It was also showed that simvastatin-regulated migrative and invasive phenotypes were consistent with the secretion and expression pattern of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), MMP-9 and plasmin.

Comparison of Dry Etching of GaAs in Inductively Coupled $BCl_3$ and $BCl_3/Ar$ Plasmas ($BCl_3$$BCl_3/Ar$ 유도결합 플라즈마에 따른 GaAs 건식식각 비교)

  • 고밀도 유도결합 플라즈마(high density inductively coupled plasma) 식각은 GaAs 이종접합 양극성 트랜지스터(HBTs)와 고속전자 이동도 트랜지스터(HEMTs)와 같은 GaAs 기반 반도체의 정교한 패턴을 형성하는데 더욱 많이 이용되고 있다 본 연구는 고밀도 플라즈마 소스(source)인 평판형(planar) 고밀도 유도결합 플라즈마 식각장치를 이용하여 $BCl_3$$BCl_3/Ar$ 가스에 따른 GaAs 식각결과를 비교 분석하였다. 공정변수는 ICP 소스 파워를 0-500W, RIE 척(chuck) 파워를 0-150W, 공정압력을 0-15 mTorr 이었다. 그리고 가스 유량은 20sccm(standard cubic centimeter per minute)으로 고정시킨 상태에서 Ar 첨가 비율에 따른 GaAs의 식각결과를 관찰하였다. 공정 결과는 식각률(etch rate), GaAs 대 PR의 선택도(selectivity), 표면 거칠기(roughness)와 식각후 표면에 남아 있는 잔류 가스등을 분석하였다. 20 $BCl_3$ 플라즈마를 이용한 GaAs 식각률 보다 Ar이 첨가된 (20-x) $BC1_3/x Ar$ 플라즈마의 식각률이 더 우수하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 식각률 증가는 Ar 가스의 첨가로 인한 GaAs 반도체와 Ar 플라즈마의 충돌로 나타난 결과로 예측된다. $BCl_3$$BC1_3/Ar$ 플라즈마에 노출된 GaAs 반도체 모두 표면이 평탄하였고 수직 측벽도 또한 우수하였다. 그리고 표면에 잔류하는 성분은 Ga와 As 이외에 $Cl_2$ 계열의 불순물이 거의 발견되지 않아 매우 깨끗함을 확인하였다. 이번 발표에서는 $BCl_3$$BCl_3/Ar$ 플라즈마를 이용한 GaAs의 건식식각 비교에 대해 상세하게 보고 할 것이다.

Vineculture of Korea and Possibility in Establishing the Wine Theme Village in Youngwol Area (한국의 포도 재배와 와인테마마을 조성 가능성에 관한 연구 -영월군을 중심으로-)

  • This study investigates the possibility in establishing the wine theme village in Youngwol area, and grape production and wine industry in world and Korea. Wine import market formed since 1988 in Korea. Because Korean wine production will be finished in 2011, Korean farmers need the strategy against foreign grape and wine importers. That is to establish the wine theme village, one of green tourism. Many pensions and raftsmen are concentrated along the Donggang river, where Geowoun-ri of Youngwol area is located. Possibility in establishing the wine theme village in Geowoun-ri is depend on the attractive program that people enjoy in Youngwol are. The programs have to consist in the regional image.

Comparative Analysis of Tea, Coffee, Wine and Beer Smartphone App Capabilities Using Technology Acceptance Model (기술수용모델을 적용한 차(茶), 커피, 와인, 맥주 음료의 스마트폰 앱 기능의 비교분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the types and capabilities of smartphone apps related to tea, coffee, wine and beer. As a result of examining the capabilities of 200 tea, coffee, wine and beer apps from Apple App Store, 17 types of capabilities were identified. The study found no significant difference in the capabilities of tea and coffee apps, but there was a significant difference in the capabilities of tea and wine apps, and tea and beer apps (p<0.01). Entertainment-oriented apps take up a higher proportion of tea-related apps while wine apps, provide a higher proportion of consumer usability-oriented apps such as finding information about wine, writing notes about wine characteristics, finding nearby shops/cafes. In order to increase practical use of tea-related apps, this study proposes capabilities of coffee, wine, and beer apps as examples and presents app menu to promote development of tea-related apps.
