다양한 정보의 교환 및 공유가 이루어지는 물류분야에서는 정보의 통합관리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 물류주체 간의 정보 교환 및 공유가 원활히 이루어지는 RFID에 기반을 둔 물류환경에 적합한 물류정보 통합관리 모형을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 물류정보 통합관리 모형은 웹 서비스를 기반으로 물류정보를 저장/관리하는 시스템 모형으로 애플리케이션과의 데이터교환을 위한 인터페이스, 물류데이터 저장, 검색을 위한 모듈, 물류정보의 데이터 무결정과 의미추론을 위한 온톨로지 모듈, XML Repository 및 Respository access 모듈로 구성된다. 데이터 교환을 위한 인터페이스는 SOAP을 이용하며 애플리케이션 및 RFID 미들웨어와 물류정보를 주고 받는다. 데이터 처리모듈은 물류 데이터의 유형에 따라 데이터를 저장/관리하며, 애플리케이션의 정보요청에 대한 결과를 제공한다. 또한 물류정보의 데이터 무결성 검증, 의미추론을 위한 온톨로지 모듈을 포함한다. 본 논문은 XML형식의 물류정보 저장관리 및 시맨틱웹 개념 중심의 모형을 설계한다.

In national defense, established information systems are mainly based on simple information processing, such as mass data query. They have thus lacked intelligent ability of information and knowledge representation ability. We therefore need the research about the construction of military ontology which is the main topic for knowledge construction. Military ontology can help us develop the intelligent national defense information system which can search and manage information efficiently. In this paper, we present the six-step bottom-up approach for military ontology extraction, then we apply this approach to one of military domain, called national defense educational training, and finally implement it using $Prot\acute{e}g\acute{e}$ which is one of the most useful ontology development tool.

This paper presents a model of Task-Ontology for small unit operations(SUO) such as nongovernment organizations Despite the rapid development and extension of NGO in domestic area, most have insufficient structural domain resources in existence and underestimate the importance of information management. To improve the citizen's participation and to activate the conjoint actions among the NGO, which are critical to its social role-playing in global society, the modeling Task-Ontology is ultimately intended to implement the knowledge management system of NGO. In the perspective of ontology competency, not only the analysis of resources in vary, but also in-depth Interviews with the NGO practicing personnels and subject experts, and also the intensive observations of task-processing are required for the knowledge acquisition.

OASIS의 ebXML 레지스트리는 e-비즈니스 컨텐츠 및 이에 대한 표준화된 메타-데이터를 안전하게 저장 및 관리하는 정보 시스템이다. ebXML 레지스트리 내의 e-비즈니스 정보에 대한 메타-데이터의 스키마는 OASIS 표준문서에 미리 정의되어 있으며, 이를 ebXML 레지스트리 정보모델(RIM: Registry information Model)이라 한다. 한편, 전자상거래 환경에서 시맨틱 정보 처리 기술을 도입하여 보다 효율적이고 원활한 상거래를 지원하기 위한 노력의 일환으로, 기존 ebXML 레지스트리에 온톨로지 기반의 시맨틱 정보를 관리 혹은 처리하는 기능을 추가하려는 연구에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는, OWL 시맨틱 정보 구성자(semantic construct)로 표현된 온톨로지 데이터가 ebXML 레지스트리 내에 관리될 수 있도록 새로운 ebXML 레지스트리 정보 모델, 즉 시맨틱 정보 모델(SIM: Semantic Information Model)을 제시한다. 이를 기반으로 ebXML 레지스트리 내에서 온톨로지 정보의 추론을 이용한 지능형 정보 처리가 가능해진다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 데이터를 위한 새로운 ebXML 레지스트리 정보 모델을 제안하며, 아울러 온톨로지 정보 추론을 활용한 지식 처리의 예를 제시한다.

Emerging Web 2.0 services such as Twitter, Blogs, and Wikis alongside the poorlystructured and immeasurable growth of information requires an enhanced information organization approach. Ontology has received much attention over the last 10 years as an emerging approach for enhancing information organization. However, there is little penetration into current systems. The purpose of this study is to propose ontology implementation and methodology. To achieve the goal of this study, limitations of traditional information organization approaches are addressed and emerging information organization approaches are presented. Two ontology data models, RDF/OW and Topic Maps, are compared and then ontology development processes and methodology with topic maps based medical information retrieval system are addressed. The comparison of two data models allows users to choose the right model for ontology development.

기존의 웹을 확장한 시맨틱 웹의 등장으로 웹 온톨로지의 구축이 중요시 되고 있다. 이로 인하여 현재 웹 온톨로지의 관리 및 활용을 위한 편집기, 웹 온톨로지 기술언어, 저장소 및 추론 엔진 등 다양한 기술 및 시스템들이 개발되어 웹 온톨로지의 구축이 용이해졌다. 이제는 구축된 웹 온톨로지를 응용 시스템에 활용하기 위한 웹 온톨로지 클래스에 대한 인스턴스를 풍부하게 할 수 있는 웹 온톨로지의 확장에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 웹 온톨로지의 확장을 위해서는 먼저 웹 온톨로지를 보다 정확하게 정의해야 하며 웹 온톨로지를 보다 풍부하게 확장할 수 있는 방법이 개발되어야 한다. 웹 온톨로지의 보다 정확한 정의를 위해서는 표준화 된 공통 개념을 이용하여 웹 온톨로지 스키마를 생성해야하며 이를 기반으로 한 웹 온톨로지 간 상호운용성 향상되어야 한다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 표준화 된 공통 개념을 관리하는 메타데이터 레지스트리(Metadata Registry)를 기반으로 구조화 된 데이터를 이용한 웹 온톨로지의 학습 및 확장 모델을 제안한다. 또한, 제안 모델을 위한 프로토타입을 구현하고 제안 모델의 평가에 대하여 기술한다.

전자상거래에서 전자카탈로그는 중요한 컴포넌트이다. 전자카탈로그를 상품 온톨로지 기반으로 표현하면 다양한 관계표현으로 인해 더 풍부한 정보 및 관계표현이 가능해진다. 본 논문에서는 전자카탈로그 도메인에서의 상품 온톨로지 모델을 구현, 운용하는 시스템에서 제공되어야 하는 질의를 분석 정리하였다. 이를 위해 상품 온톨로지 기반의 전자상거래 시스템의 다양한 응용 프로그램에서 상품 카탈로그를 보여주기 위해 필요한 질의와 상품 정보 및 온톨로지 관리를 위해 필요한 질의를 포함한다.

최근 IT산업의 발전으로 인해 광범위한 정보가 존재하는 웹 기반 환경에서 원하는 정보의 검색과 검출을 위한 시멘틱 웹(Semantic Web) 기반의 온톨리지에 대하여 연구가 다양하게 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 기법을 이용하여 인간의 다양한 편의와 친환경적인 습지의 수질 관리에 대한 통합적이고 편리한 관리를 위해 WSN 기반의 습지 수질 관리에 특화된 온톨리지 설계 및 구축을 진행하였다.

Many Korean financial firms have built knowledge management systems, however, most of the systems have fragmentary ideas or suggestions. This study proposes the model of ontology-based knowledge repository through which one could integrate knowledge for business use in the BPM environments. The knowledge includes implicit and explicit knowledge. library materials, documents, and information for experts as well. In order to get basic ideas for this model, case studies utilized interviews and surveys were conducted targeting at four Korean banks' knowledge managers, librarians and thirty staffs.

의료 분야의 정보화 움직임으로 인해 단순한 정보저장과 검색시스템에서 벗어나 지능화된 서비스를 제공해주는 시멘틱 웹 기반의 의료 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 이에 한의학 분야도 한의사의 진단을 보조할 수 있는 지식기반시스템에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 온톨로지는 시멘틱 웹의 핵심적인 지식체계로 지식의 처리와 추론이 가능하므로 질의 및 논리 추론을 통하여 진단을 내리는 한의학 지식 데이터베이스 구축에 적합하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한의학 진단의 기반이 되는 환자의 질병, 증상, 원인, 처방 등의 관계를 온톨로지로 구축하여 한의학 분야의 지식을 표현하기 위한 기본 지식 체계를 제시하고 구축된 한의학 온톨로지를 기반으로 한의학 진단보조시스템을 개발한다. 구축 된 시스템은 한의사 진단을 보조하여 줄뿐만 아니라 한의학의 진단 결과를 객관적으로 점검할 수 있게 해준다. 또한, 진단보조시스템과 온톨로지 관리시스템을 결합함으로써 컴퓨터 비전문가에 의한 한의학 온톨로지의 확장 및 수정이 가능하도록 한다.
