This paper provides a comparison and analysis of job requirements in logistics industry. Over 300 job advertisements were collected from online job sites and companies' homepage, and analysed to explore the skills that employers want from job seekers by conducting content analysis. A comprehensive requirements and skills containing 11 main categories and 36 subcategories emerged from 332 job advertisements related logistics. From the analyses we identify that top three requirements for logisticians are more or less the same for industry employers regardless of industry sector. The findings of this study are also valuable for developing a new and up-to-date logistics curriculum.

Smart Power Grid (SPG) 분야 실증 플랜드 구축과제는 스마트그리드 플랫폼 기반에서 송전, 변전, 배전 분야의 전력기기와 운영 시스템을 통합해 전력망을 효율적, 지능적으로 운전할 수 있는지를 실증하는 프로젝트이다. 현재 스마트그리드 실증단지에는 송전계통의 무효전력관리시스템, 위성망을 이용한 전압위상관리시스템, 송전선로용 볼센서 등을 다루는 지능형 송전, IEC 61850 기반의 IED를 채용한 변전소 자동화, 전기품질 온라인 감시기능을 갖는 지능형 단말장치를 적용 및 변전소 SCADA 기능을 통합 구현하는 배전지능화가 설치되어 있다.

전력계통 운용상 점차 고도의 기술이 요구됨에 따라 급전제어소에 설치되는 컴퓨터시스템도 많은 자료를 빠른 시간내에 처리할 수 있도록 대용량의 고속용 계산기가 채용되고 있으며, 이용기술면에서도 온라인 조류계산을 기본으로한 여러가지 진보된 응용기능을 갖추어 가고 있다. 1960년대말 디지탈컴퓨터시스템이 전력계통운용의 자동화를 위하여 특수하게 설계되어 이용된 이래 비약적인 발전을 거듭하면서 최근에는 안전제어(Security Control), 협조계획(Interactive Planning) 그리고 계층제어(Hierarchical Control) 등의 다양한 기능에 의해 전체 전력계통의 안전운용과 효율적운용을 기할 수 있도록 에너지관리시스템(EMS: Energy Management System)이 개발되었으며 세계적으로 많은 전력회사들이 종래에 사용해 오던 AGC/SCADA기능위주의 시스템에서 이 시스템으로 교체해 가고 있다. 우리나라의 한국전력공사에서도 최신기술의 EMS를 도입하기 위한 사업이 1987년 중반기를 준공목표로 1986, 10월말 현재 전체공정의 약 85%가 추진되고 있는데, 여기에서는 이에 관련하여 먼저 EMS의 기술동향과 설계방법에 관해 살펴보고 다음에 한전 EMS의 특징에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 대표적인 3차원 일인칭 액션 게임(first-person action game)인 Unreal Tournament 게임과 이것에 기초한 Gamebots시스템을 소개하고, 이러한 환경에서 효과적으로 동작하는 지능형 NPC인 KGBot의 설계와 구현에 대해 설명한다. KGBot는 Gamebots시스템에서 하나의 보트 클라이언트(bot client)로 동작하면서 지형이 복잡한 3차원 가상환경 안에서 적들에 대항해 아군과 연합하여 특정 목표 지점(domination point)들을 찾아 점령하는 자율 NPC이다. KGBot는 BDI기반의 범용 에이전트 구조인 UM-PRS를 제어엔진으로 채용하고 있으며, 복잡한 행위들을 효과적으로 구현하기 위해 계충화된 지식베이스를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 특히 제한적인 센서정보와 이동점(waypoint)에 기초하여 자신이 놓여진 월드의 전체지도를 작성하고 임의의 목적지까지 효율적인 이동경로를 계획할 수 있는 KGBot의 행위의 구현과 실험에 대해 설명한다.

인터넷의 급속한 성장과 함께 분산 네트워크 환경 하에서의 정보 검색 문제는 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 기하급수적으로 증가하는 정보의 홍수 속에서 사용자가 원하는 정보나 서비스를 효율적으로 찾아주는 방법은 꾸준히 연구되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 멀티에이전트(Multi-agent)환경 하에서 원하는 서비스를 제공하는 에이전트들을 효율적으로 탐색해 주는 에이전트간의 매치메이킹(Matchmaking) 시스템은 좋은 해결방안이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 확장 매치메이킹 알고리즘은 중개 에이전트가 특정 도메이 지식을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있도록 문제에 대한 표현과 추론 과정이 명확한 CSP로 모델링 함으로써 불필요한 탐색 공간을 효율적으로 제거하도록 하였으며, 서비스 요청 에이전트의 요구사항을 만족시키면서 가능한 한 중복되는 에이전트 쌍이 최소화 되도록 일반적인 유사도(Similarity)와 함께 새로운 경쟁도(Competition)를 고려하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘이 기존의 매치메이킹 알고리즘보다 더 효율적인 것을 보이기 위해 온라인 인력 채용박람회를 모델로 하여 중개 에이전트가 직업을 구하는 서비스 요청 에이전트와 인재를 모집하는 서비스 공급 에이전트간의 매치메이킹 문제에 대해 실험 평가하였다.

The aim of this study was to investigate why people voluntarily contribute knowledge to others, primarily strangers, in the electronic network of practice for job examination expected potential competing. This paper is organized as follows. First, we introduce the electronic network of practice which is the knowledge sharing community for job examination, and discuss the key issues for understanding knowledge sharing in these networks on the basis of individual motivations, relational capital, sense of community, and sense of rivalry to develop a research model for this study. To test the proposed research model, we adopted the survey method for data collection, and examined our hypotheses by applying the multiple regression analysis method to the collected data. Our unit of analysis was the individual. The findings of this study show that the intention of knowledge sharing is influenced by the reputation and the enjoy helping as the factors of individual motivations, by the reciprocity as the factor of relational capital, and by a sense of rivalry as a psychological factor. Lastly, contributions of this study and future research opportunities are also discussed.

Online recruitment services have emerged as one of the most popular Internet services, providing job seekers with a comprehensive list of jobs and a search engine. But many recruitment services suffer from shortcomings due to their reliance on traditional client-pull information access model, in manay cases resulting in unfocused search results. Worldjob+, being operated by The Human Resources Development Service of Korea, addresses these problems and uses Splunk, a platform for analyzing machine data, to provide a more proactive and personalised services. It focuses on enhancing the existing system in two different ways: (a) using personalised automated matching techniques to proactively recommend most preferrable profile or specification information for each job opening announcement or recruiting company, (b) and to recommend most preferrable or desirable job opening announcement for each job-seeker. This approach is a feature-free recommendation technique that recommends information items to a given user based on what similar users have previously liked. A brief discussion about the potential benefit is also provided as a conclusion.

This paper presents an acoustic model transform method using untranscribed speech database for improved speech recognition. In the presented model transform method, an adapted GMM is obtained by employing the conventional adaptation method, and the most similar Gaussian component is selected from the adapted GMM. The bias vector between the mean vectors of the clean GMM and the adapted GMM is used for updating the mean vector of HMM. The presented GAMT combined with MAP or MLLR brings improved speech recognition performance in car noise and speech babble conditions, compared to singly-used MAP or MLLR respectively. The experimental results show that the presented model transform method effectively utilizes untranscribed speech database for acoustic model adaptation in order to increase speech recognition accuracy.

This study aims at understanding Korean fans who are also one of the most inquisitive consumers of the Korean pop products. For this purpose, it examines how Korean fandom perceives the procedures of the K-pop's globalization and constructs different perspectives of foreign fans. Firstly, it examines Korean fandom's the national pride as the K-pop expands to the global markets. Secondly, it explores how the Korean fandom rationalizes its possessive instinct while the global fans and markets becomes increasingly important. Finally, it explores how the Korean fandom constructs the different perceptions on foreign fans. In order to observe korean fans' thoughts and activities, it participates in the interactions in the tweeters and an online community. The Korean fans' perspective reflects both on individual tastes and the social dimensions in which fans live through. Through the lens of the Korean fandom, this study attempts to explicate the Korean fans' perception on foreign fans, which reflects another dimension of the K-pop's globalization.

Library and information science professionals have to grasp user's needs and make the best decisions when designing, acquiring, and managing library information systems. However, it is not easy for them to make the decision owing to the lack of an understanding of the characteristics of a specific user group in computer-based information systems in libraries. The aim of this study was to provide information on the characteristics and abilities of specific user groups such as male & female student groups, undergraduate & graduate ones, Sciences and Humanities majored ones etc. The actual OPAC systems were searched by specific student user groups in selected academic libraries in both Republic of Korea and the States for the purpose(Author, Title, and Subject search). Ouestionnaire was prepared and administered to Korean college students in the city of Taegu, Korea and adjacent area. Two hundred and seven usable questionnaires were obtained and analyzed. These were analyzed using descriptive, inferential statistics, and SPSS software. The major findings by data analysis of this study were described in chapters 4 and 5 of this paper in detail. Also, conclusions were drawn from the findings in this paper, and recommendations were proposed when designing, adopting, or managing a new system.
