  • As modern people's daily lives are becoming more harsh in Korea, the so-called Kidults generation has appeared since a few years ago as adults have come back to their childhood sensibility and are exposed to various cultures online, and there are many people who have a hobby for collecting toys. However, as there is currently no formalized system for individual toy trade online, it is difficult to acquire expertise and share information with each other through a major portal site's $caf{\acute{e}}$, and is exposed to security or fraud while trading toys. In this paper, we design and implementation of a web-based toy trading system. Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the various trading and relay systems currently in use, it will provide opportunities for professional toy knowledge and information exchange to many users who have a hobby of collecting toys, and will greatly help vitalize the toy market through a secure and convenient trading environment between individuals.

Mass Media and Social Media Agenda Analysis Using Text Mining : focused on '5-day Rotation Mask Distribution System' (텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 매스 미디어와 소셜 미디어 의제 분석 : '마스크 5부제'를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzes online news articles and cafe articles on the '5-day Rotation Mask Distribution System', which is emerging as a recent issue due to the COVID-19 incident, to identify the mass media and social media agendas containing media and public reactions. This study figured out the difference between mass media and social media. For analysis, we collected 2,096 full text articles from Naver and 1,840 posts from Naver Cafe, and conducted word frequency analysis, word cloud, and LDA topic modeling analysis through data preprocessing and refinement. As a result of analysis, social media showed real-life topics such as 'family members' purchase', 'the postponement of school opening', ' mask usage', and 'mask purchase', reflecting the characteristics of personal media. Social media was found to play a role of exchanging personal opinions, emotions, and information rather than delivering information. With the application of the research method applied to this study, social issues can be publicized through various media analysis and used as a reference in the process of establishing a policy agenda that evolves into a government agenda.

An Exploratory Study on Local Community Food Issues in the Context of COVID-19: Focusing on Social Big Data through Regional Issues (코로나19 상황에서 지역사회 먹을거리 이슈에 관한 탐색적 연구: 지역별 이슈를 통한 소셜 빅데이터를 중심으로)

  • This study focused on analyzing the contents of social big data produced in the online space, dealing with issues related to food in the community in the context of COVID-19. First, this study analyzed food-related issues that spread through regional websites and online community(cafes) after social distancing was implemented due to COVID-19. Next, this study analyzed the contents of food-related issues that spread through media news, SNS, and portals. As a result, there were more food-related posts on the homepages of other regions compared to the metropolitan areas such as Seoul and Gyeonggi, but in the case of online communities, there were more food-related issues in online communities registered in Seoul and Gyeonggi regions. Food-related keywords in regional online communities mainly contained content related to the local economy. In the media articles, SNS, and search portal issues, content that can be discussed in the consumption process of local community food-related policies, information, and products mainly appeared. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there is no specialized information sharing system for each community, that online communities can contribute to providing food information applicable to reality, and that it is possible to verify the performance of regional food policies through social media.

  • Current video service market doesn't satisfy the users' needs who want to find new and interesting contents despite the vast amount of contents. Now it is continuously necessary to Study on technology and using experience is continuously required in online video service area to stimulate the watching motivation efficiently with such as recommendation or promotion. One of efficient ways of increasing the using motivation is to give the users pleasure when they use the services. This study focused on 'unexpected funny finding' as a strategy of providing pleasure of using. It was believed that it could increase the pleasure of using the service, if serendipity, which means unexpected pleasure, accidental finding such as finding a beautiful $caf{\acute{e}}$ or meeting a friend at a certain place unexpectedly, is applied. This study defines the serendipity as 'contents that give unexpected pleasure' at the online video environment. First it theoretically extracted the various characteristics of serendipity through reading many books. Next it verified the other concept of serendipity through the diary of users' survey to additionally extract the characteristics of serendipity at video environment that are hard to find in books. It formed estimation items for the characteristics of the extracted serendipity and tested them in youtube to confirm the characteristics of serendipity being found in video service and observe potential factors that make it. As a result if verified and confirmed four factors that cause serendipity at video environment. This study could be used as basic data to understand the concept of serendipity. It has an academic meaning in the point that it could be a useful reference for the future study that analyzes the role or effect of serendipity at IT area including online video service.

The Effect of the Whole Experience of Online Brand on the Consumer-Brand Relationship, Brand Attachment and Brand Commitment : With the Users of Naver Brand Cafe (온라인 브랜드의 총체적 체험이 소비자-브랜드 관계 및 브랜드 애착, 브랜드 몰입에 미치는 영향 - 네이버 브랜드 카페 사용자들을 중심으로 -)

  • We can divide brand experience in the brand community of online blog into the following five types: sensuous experience, emotional experience, cognitive experience, behavioral experience, and relational experience. And this study is aimed at looking into what differences are among the effects those five have on the consumer-brand relationship. Also we wanted to analyse empirically what structural relations this consumer-brand relationship through the whole experience has with brand attachment and brand commitment. The outcome shows that emotional experience, cognitive experience and relational experience affect the consumer-brand relationship but sensuous experience and behavioral experience. And our analysis of what structural relations the consumer-brand relationship through brand experience has with brand attachment and brand commitment revealed that the consumer-brand relationship through brand experience has a direct effect on brand attachment but it doesn't have on brand commitment. Brand commitment was confirmed to be affected only through brand attachment. Finally, this is in agreement with the result of the precedent study that brand commitment is an effect variable of brand attachment.

Operation Strategy in Online Knowledge Sharing Community (지식공유 목적의 가상 커뮤니티 운영전략에 관한 연구)

  • Virtual community, which is formed on the internet, is expected to serve the needs of members for communication, information, and knowledge sharing. The executives of organizations should consider operating strategy of virtual community as a new innovation or knowledge pool since members share knowledge. However, many virtual community have failed due to members' low willingness to engage and furthermore to share knowledge with other members. Thus, there is a need to understand and foster the determinants of members' loyalty in virtual community. The objective of this study is to develop an integrated model designed to investigate and explain the relationships between contextual factors, personal perceptions of virtual community, usefulness, ease of use, familiarity, members' trust, reputation, community trust, attitude, satisfaction and loyalty. Empirical data was collected from 286 internet users and tested using structural equation modeling to verify the fit of the hypothetical model. The results show that the usefulness, familiarity significantly influences attitude and members' trust is significantly influence the community trust. And I confirmed that ease of use and attitude play the role of determinants in making the satisfaction, community trust and reputation influence the satisfaction that have the direct effect to making the loyalty. The results of the study can be used to identify the loyalty in virtual community. By investigating the impacts of contextual factors and personal perceptions on virtual community, the integrated model better explains behavior than other proposed models. This study might help executives of virtual communities and organizations to manage and promote community trust, attitude, satisfaction to stimulate members' willingness to revisit the community and futhermore enhance their virtual community loyalty.

Predicting tobacco risk factors by using social big data (소셜 빅데이터를 활용한 담배 위험 예측)

  • This study will predict risk factors associated with cigarettes in Korea by analyzing the social big data collected from the internet such as blogs, cafes, and SNSes in Korea, using data mining techniques. The key analysis results are as follows. First, when "raising cigarette price"is mentioned online, the negative group (i.e., the proportion of people holding negative views about smoking) increased from 58.6% to 74.8%, and when "lung cancer" is mentioned, it increased to 73.1%. Second, with regard to cigarettes in general, the positive group (i.e., the proportion of people holding positive views about smoking) decreased by 5.6% after the raising of cigarette prices, while the negative group increased by 6.1%. Third, when policies related to "FCTC, raising cigarette price, non-smoking laws, smoking regulations, non-smoking ads, and nonsmoking business" are more frequently mentioned online, the positive group tended to decrease. Finally, when "non-smoking drugs, non-smoking patches, and non-smoking gums" are more frequently mentioned online, the positive group tended to decrease. However, when "electronic cigarettes and supplements" are more frequently mentioned online, the positive group increased.

Getting Closer to Consumer Performance Experience: Research on Performance Experience Components through Online Post Analysis (소비자의 공연 경험에 다가가기 - 온라인 게시글 분석을 통한 공연 경험의 구성요소 탐구 -)

  • In studying culture consumption today, it is essential to understand and analyze the actual visitors' experiences in detail. This is deeply related to the fact that we can utilize subjective experience records that were previously inaccessible as data since plenty of people actually record many performance experiences in the media space such as social media. This study attempts to examine what elements actually consists of people's performance experience based on actual expression of the performance experience that exists online. For this, we collected two types of data. First, we collected posts which required performance recommendation on online platforms such as Jisik-In and Cafes to see how people describe what they want and analyzed data focusing on the modifiers. Results show that people mainly use modifiers that reflect the specific situation of the individual such as companion or age. In addition we analyzed how the experience was described after the show through the review posts of ticket booking site. Results show how expressions are centered around companions, revisit intentions, and viewing experiences besides elements such as story and music, which have been known as main satisfaction elements of performance experience in previous studies. In addition, we discussed the practical implications and limitations of the study as well as the theoretical discussion.

Fandom as a Prosumer : Study on Information Behavior of Fandom (프로슈머로서의 팬덤: 팬덤의 정보행동에 관한 연구)

  • This study posits the activities of the fandom as information behavior: information producing, information diffusion, information sharing. The authors identify the underlying motivation and needs which lead fandom to these behavior on the basis of contents theory. In particular, the manner in which the those needs influence the information behavior of fandom is explored. The data used in this study came from various Fan Caf$\acute{e}$s which are communities of star fan. The results from the survey shows that the fandom is a kind of culture closely connected to social needs. Fandom can be viewed as an important driving force in the entertainment industry as they are co-creating the value in entertainment market.

  • Recently, the cosmetics industry considers male customers as a consumptive, active customer base who also have purchasing power with their stronger desire for their personal image enhancement. Male-preferred image brands have entered the era of unlimited competition through social media, thus increasing the acquisition of male beauty. Therefore, the information for designing favorable image strategies should be examined. This paper examines male awareness, determined by the degree of appearance management based on four categories (i.e., hair and skin care, makeup, foot and hand care, and plastic surgery). Based on the research, the paper proposes a data service to address the spatial and temporal separation problem between TV CF (the major media for recognizing information) and online $caf{\acute{e}}$/blog the major media for obtaining detailed information.
