This study conducted an empirical analysis on a total of 398 samples of survey gathered from people in Seoul, Gyoeng-gi, Daegu, and Gyeonsangbuk-do. This study includes not only personal traits, but also entrepreneurial intention and network as independent variables. Findings of the analysis reported that Entrepreneurial intention, Need for achievement, Autonomy, Entrepreneurship, Self-efficacy, Education, Network, Age, and Income have significant discriminant power, in order of priority, on general two groups of Franchising and Independent Entrepreneurship. However, in the study, autonomy is revealed as the sole discriminant factor on considering venture creation groups. Based on the result, the study contributes theoretical and practical implications in relation to the determinants for the type of franchising or independent entrepreneurship.

  • This study aimed to determine the changes of awareness and preference of dental hygienists according to the experience of using a digital intraoral scanner through a convergence study. Data collected by an online survey for dental hygienists in Busan, Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk were analyzed by SPSS 24.0 program. When dental hygienists had an experience of using a digital intraoral scanner, the awareness and preference of digital intraoral scanners were significantly higher. The experience of using a digital intraoral scanner showed a positive correlation with the clinical application experience of digital intraoral scanners; the clinical application experience of digital intraoral scanners, with the awareness of digital intraoral scanners; and the awareness of digital intraoral scanners, with the preference of digital intraoral scanners. In conclusion, the dental hygienist's experience in clinical application of digital intraoral scanners is expected to increase the awareness and preference, resulting in the improvement of dental hygienists' work ability. Therefore, it is believed that continuous education and learning about digital oral scanners are needed.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of middle school students' health factors and eating behaviors on their oral symptoms using the data from 30,885 students in the 13th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey in 2017. The logistic regression for the effects of the health factors and eating behaviors on the oral symptoms were analyzed using a logistic regression method. The results showed that the groups of higher levels of achievement, and stress, lower daily frequency of tooth-brushing, and no intake of processing meat led to significantly higher levels for toothache and gingival pain recognition. Also, the higher halitosis recognizers had significantly higher levels of stress and the lower daily frequency of tooth-brushing. In conclusion, adolescents' health factors and eating behaviors affected their oral symptoms. This study is expected to help development of a oral health education program that can prevent these oral symptoms.

  • This study was examined to identify effects of compliance with preventive behavior on COVID-19 of nursing college students. From April 24 to May 6, 2020, 195 nursing students in grades 1-4 responded to an online self-report questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The result showed that compliance with preventive behavior was positively correlated with knowledge and anxiety. The multiple regression revealed knowledge(β=.418, p<.001), anxiety(β=.280, p<.001), and experience of self quarantine(β=-.107, p<.05) to be significant compliance with preventive behavior. These variables accounted for 40.4% of compliance with preventive behavior. Conclusion Accurate and positive knowledge formation of COVID-19 of nursing students is necessary and the development and application of educational programs that can practice the performance of preventive actions in everyday life is necessary.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of developing and continuously providing on-line hygiene education programs on the improvement of hygiene conditions in children's cafeterias. As a result of the 2020 sanitation and safety checklist analysis, 6 items (personal hygiene, separate use, clean ventilation, temperature control of refrigerators, country of origin, food distribution) were derived and on-line hygiene education programs for each of 6 items were produced. ① Customized educational materials and self-inspection checklists were provided to 208 children's cafeterias. After that, educational videos were provided through Kakao Talk twice a week for 6 months, and they were made available for viewing at any time through YouTube upload, ③ Kakao Talk Through this, a quiz related to the educational video was conducted to give feedback for interaction with the cook. As a result of analyzing the total hygiene and safety checklist score of all registered facility catering centers by visit order, in 2020 it was 82.8 points/100 points, but in 2021, it was 84.2 points (1st round), 89.3 points (2nd round), 91.4 points (3 points) The score improved significantly (p<0.001) as the on-line hygiene education program continued. As a result, significant (p<0.001) changes were observed in the items of 'Knife, chopping board' and 'Sanitation clothes, sanitary hat, sanitary shoes, apron, and sanitary gloves', confirming a clear improvement effect. Therefore, it is considered that the on-line hygiene education program will play a positive role in showing a lasting effect on improving hygiene management in children's cafeterias.
