Detecting Spelling Errors by Comparison of Words within a Document (문서내 단어간 비교를 통한 철자오류 검출)

  • Typographical errors by the author's mistyping occur frequently in a document being prepared with word processors contrary to usual publications. Preparing this online document, the most common orthographical errors are spelling errors resulting from incorrectly typing intent keys to near keys on keyboard. Typical spelling checkers detect and correct these errors by using morphological analyzer. In other words, the morphological analysis module of a speller tries to check well-formedness of input words, and then all words rejected by the analyzer are regarded as misspelled words. However, if morphological analyzer accepts even mistyped words, it treats them as correctly spelled words. In this paper, I propose a simple method capable of detecting and correcting errors that the previous methods can not detect. Proposed method is based on the characteristics that typographical errors are generally not repeated and so tend to have very low frequency. If words generated by operations of deletion, exchange, and transposition for each phoneme of a low frequency word are in the list of high frequency words, some of them are considered as correctly spelled words. Some heuristic rules are also presented to reduce the number of candidates. Proposed method is able to detect not syntactic errors but some semantic errors, and useful to scoring candidates.

  • Memory errors can cause not only program malfunctions but also even unexpected system halt. Though a programmer checks memory errors, some memory errors with low occurrence frequency are missed to detect. In this paper, we propose a method for effectively detecting such memory errors using instruction transition diagrams through analyzing assembly codes obtained by disassembling an executable file. Out of various memory errors, local memory return errors, null pointer access errors and uninitialized pointer access errors are targeted for detection. When applying the proposed method to various programs including well-known open source programs such as Apache web server and PHP script interpreter, some potential memory errors are detected.

  • 본 논문은 다중 특징을 포함한 대표 키 프레임을 추출을 통해 장면 전환 검출 시 발생할 수 있는 검출 오류를 자동으로 인식하고 수정함으로써 빠르고 신뢰성 있는 장면 분할을 수행하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 개선된 고속 장면 전환 검출 기법에 의해 샷을 분할 하고 분할 된 샷으로부터 대표 키 프레임과 그것에 포함된 후보 키 프레임들의 다중 정보를 포함시킴으로써 샷의 전반에 대한 정보를 보다 잘 표현할 수 있도록 한다. 그리고 다중정보를 포함한 대표 키 프레임의 비교를 통해 샷 검출 오류를 자동으로 인식하여 적절히 수정할 수 있는 기법을 제안하며 실세계 동영상 데이터를 사용한 실험을 통해서 제안하는 기법에 의해 효율적으로 샷이 분할 될 수 있음을 보인다.

  • Abstract should be placed here In this study, we propose an algorithm of the method of recovering quickly find the location of the error encountered during separate operations in the functional structure of complex digital circuits by mimicking the self-healing function of the cell. By the digital circuit was divided by 9 function block unit of function, proposes a method that It can quickly detect and recover the error position. It was the detection and recovery algorithms for the error location in the digital circuit of a complicated structure and could extended the number of function block for the $3{\times}3$ matrix structure on the dital circuit.

  • 비즈니스 프로세스란 기업의 모든 고객에게 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 순차적 또는 동시적으로 발생할 수 있는 모든 연관된 업무의 집합을 의미한다. 이러한 비즈니스 프로세스는 프로세스 설계 작업을 통하여 시스템 차원에서 관리함으로써 프로세스의 생산성 및 효율성 등을 확대하게 된다. 하지만 프로세스 설계 작업은 주로 사람에 의해 수행되기 때문에 예상하지 못한 오류들이 발생할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 설계 오류들은 기업이 원하는 과정으로 프로세스가 진행하지 않을 수 있으며, 이는 기업의 막대한 인적 손실 및 비용 손실을 초래하게 된다. 그러므로 비즈니스 프로세스 설계 단계에서 오류가 없도록 설계 하거나 또는 미리 정의된 오류 유형들을 설계 도구를 통하여 검출 할 수 있는 작업이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 프로세스 설계 단계에서의 오류 검출 작업에 활용될 수 있도록 유형 별로 설계 오류들을 분석 하고 정의하였다.

Detecting Errors in POS-Tagged Corpus on XGBoost and Cross Validation (XGBoost와 교차검증을 이용한 품사부착말뭉치에서의 오류 탐지)

  • Part-of-Speech (POS) tagged corpus is a collection of electronic text in which each word is annotated with a tag as the corresponding POS and is widely used for various training data for natural language processing. The training data generally assumes that there are no errors, but in reality they include various types of errors, which cause performance degradation of systems trained using the data. To alleviate this problem, we propose a novel method for detecting errors in the existing POS tagged corpus using the classifier of XGBoost and cross-validation as evaluation techniques. We first train a classifier of a POS tagger using the POS-tagged corpus with some errors and then detect errors from the POS-tagged corpus using cross-validation, but the classifier cannot detect errors because there is no training data for detecting POS tagged errors. We thus detect errors by comparing the outputs (probabilities of POS) of the classifier, adjusting hyperparameters. The hyperparameters is estimated by a small scale error-tagged corpus, in which text is sampled from a POS-tagged corpus and which is marked up POS errors by experts. In this paper, we use recall and precision as evaluation metrics which are widely used in information retrieval. We have shown that the proposed method is valid by comparing two distributions of the sample (the error-tagged corpus) and the population (the POS-tagged corpus) because all detected errors cannot be checked. In the near future, we will apply the proposed method to a dependency tree-tagged corpus and a semantic role tagged corpus.

Adaptive Error Detection Using Causal Block Boundary Matching in Block-Coded Video (블록기반 부호화 비디오에서 인과적 블록 경계정합을 이용한 적응적 오류 검출)

  • In this Paper, we Propose an effective boundary matching based error detection algorithm using causal neighbor blocks to improve video quality degraded from channel error in block-coded video. The proposed algorithm first calculates boundary mismatch powers between a current block and each of its causal neighbor blocks. It then decides that a current block should be normal if all the mismatch powers are less than an adaptive threshold, which is adaptively determined using the statistics of the two adjacent blocks. In some experiments under the environment of 16bi1s burst error at bit error rates (BERs) of 10$^{-3}$ -10$^{-4}$ , it is shown that the proposed algorithm yields the improvements of maximum 20% in error detection rate and of maximum 3.5㏈ in PSNR of concealed kames, compared with Zeng's error detection algorithm.

Strategic Errors Detection in Gameplay by the Inspection of Payoff Matrices (보수행렬 검사를 통한 게임플레이의 전략적 오류 검출)

  • Sid Meier said, "A game is a series of interesting choices." This means the interesting choices make the game funny. In this paper, we define the no interesting options in the gameplay as strategic errors of the gameplay and suggest a detection method of these errors of the gameplay. The suggested method detects the strategic errors of the gameplay by the inspection of the payoff matrices. This method can detect the options of no strategies of the opponent, dominant options, dominated options, similar options with almost same payoffs in the case of the inspection of the payoff matrices. Additionally it can detect the options of the expected payoff with excessively high, the options of the expected payoff with excessively low, the options of the usage probability with excessively high, and the options of the usage probability with excessively low in the case of the inspection of the payoff matrices with the corresponding frequency rates.

  • 본 논문에서는 바 코드리더로 그 정보를 읽어 낼 수 있지만, 시각적인 인쇄오류가 있는 바 코드를 고속으로 검출해 내는 방법을 제안한다. 바 코드는 해당 제품의 제품정보 및 키를 저장하기 위하여 주로 사용되어 왔다. 근래에 들어 바 코드의 활용범위가 점점 넓어지게 되면서 잘못 인쇄된 바 코드로 인하여 차후에 발생할 수 있는 시간적 경제적 손실을 줄이기 위하여 인쇄된 바 코드가 공장에서 나가기 전에 바 코드가 정확하게 인쇄되었는지를 검사하는 것이 중요하게 되었다. 특히 상품이 아니라 고객카드와 같이 바 코드 소유자의 정보를 저장하는 수단으로도 활용하는 경우는 개인이 자신의 카드를 소지하게 되므로 바 코드에 담겨있는 정보도 중요하지만 바 코드의 인쇄상태 또한 중요하다. 이는 바 코드리더로 제대로 읽혀진다 하더라도 시각적인 인쇄오류가 있는 경우 해당 고객으로부터 불만을 사게 되고 새 카드로 교체를 요구받게 되기 때문이다. 이 경우 회사의 이미지 실추는 물론 카드 교체에 따른 시간적 경제적 손실을 보게된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 바 코드의 높이가 모두 동일한 1차원(선형)바 코드를 대상으로 바 코드의 열 동질성을 이용한 시각적인 인쇄오류가 있는 바 코드를 검출해 내는 방법을 제안한다.

An automated memory error detection technique using source code analysis in C programs (C언어 기반 프로그램의 소스코드 분석을 이용한 메모리 접근오류 자동검출 기법)

  • Memory access errors are frequently occurred in C programs. A number of tools and research works have been trying to detect the errors automatically. However, they have one or more of the following problems: inability to detect all memory errors, changing the memory allocation mechanism, incompatibility with libraries, and excessive performance overhead. In this paper, we suggest a new method to solve these problems, and then present a result of comparison to the previous research works through the experiments. Our approach consists of two phases. First is to transform source code at compile time through inserting instrumentation into the source code. And second is to detect memory errors at run time with a bitmap that maintains information about memory allocation. Our approach has improved the error detection abilities against the binary code analysis based ones by using the source code analysis technique, and enhanced performance in terms of both space and time, too. In addition, our approach has no problem with respect to compatibility with shared libraries as well as does not need to modify memory allocation mechanism.
