Exception mechanism in Java allows programmers to define, throw and catch exceptional conditions. It is important for the development of reliable programs to make sure that exceptions are handled appropriately at run-time. In this paper, we develop an exception monitoring system, which can help programmers trace and handle exceptions effectively. Using this system, programmers can examine exception handling process in detail by tracing only interesting exceptions, and can handle exceptions more effectively. To reduce performance overhead, we design the system based on code instrumentation. Moreover, we show the effectiveness of the system by experiments on benchmark programs.

최근 많은 보안 공격 도구들은 커널 레벨에서 동작하도록 설계 되고 있다. 악의적인 행동이 시스템 모니터링 프로그램과 같은 권한 레벨에서 이루어지기 때문에 공격 도구들은 공격 대상으로부터 자신의 존재를 숨기고 활동할 수 있다. 이러한 커널 레벨 악성코드들에 대한 대처 방법으로 가상화 기술을 이용하는 더 높은 권한 레벨을 가진 가상머신모니터(VMM)에서의 시스템 모니터링 방법이 소개 되었다. 그러나 많은 가상화 기반 모니터링 도구들이 주로 페이지 폴트 예외를 이용하여 시스템 콜 호출을 감시하기 때문에 신뢰성이 떨어지고 확장 페이지 테이블 (EPT) 과 같은 최신 하드웨어 가상화 기술 지원을 받지 못한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 일반 보호 예외를 이용하는 새로운 시스템 콜 인터셉트 기법을 제안함으로써 기존 기법의 기술적 한계를 극복하고 신뢰도 높은 모니터링 기법을 제공하고자 한다. 또 해당 기법의 구체적 구현 방법을 서술하고 구현 결과를 실험함으로서 제안 기법을 검증한다.

Recent changes in health care environment including aging population and prevalence of chronic disease encourage the adoption of new innovative technological solutions including wearable vital sensors, wireless networks, and smart phone. In this paper, we present an effective at-home lifestyle monitoring system that can be used for self-management and health intervention of patient himself in the Management-by-Exception perspectives. We implemented the filtering and queuing algorithms as a preprocessor of monitoring system to enhance efficiency of proposed system, and the effective UX design for self-management of patients themselves. The 94,467 actual clinic data was used to test the efficiency of the proposed system. As as a result, 64.8% of the incoming vital data was identified to be filtered out.

BPEL4WS는 이기종의 시스템을 사용하는 사내 조직뿐만 아니라 협력 업체 및 고객 전반에 걸쳐 비즈니스 프로세스를 통합해준다 통합된 비즈니스 프로세스 관리는 이질적인 수행환경 극복, 기업 간 프로세스 자동화, 프로세스에 대한 모니터링 및 관리, 비즈니스 트랜잭션 관리, 파트너 상태에 대한 관리가 필요하다. 하지만 비즈니스 프로세스, 비즈니스 트랜잭션, 파트너 상태에 대한 관리에 대한 연구가 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 통합 프로세스 모니터링 시스템을 제안함으로서, 프로세스 관리자에게 비즈니스 진행상태에 대한 가시성을 제공하고, 신뢰성 있는 웹 서비스를 위한 트랜잭션을 관리해 주며, 예외 처리를 위한 파트너들의 모니터링 기능을 제공한다.

Monitoring has been done for the shingle beach in Hagdong Beach in Geojesi, City during the seven month period. The shingle beach has been found to go through the cyclic change according to the tidal schedule. The typhoon Rusa in year 2002 affected whole beach face. Sea wall, constructed to protect the village along the beach, aggravates the situation, since it cut off the supply of shingle from the marine terrace, upon which village was built. Concrete walls along the streams also diminish the supply of shingles from the mountains. To protect the shingle beach and encourage the sustainable eco-tourism long-term monitoring on sediment budget is necessary.

본 논문은 공공자격 온라인 처리시스템의 예외사항 및 오류처리에 대한 관리 효율성을 극대화하기 위한 연구로 다양한 이론에 근거한 IT 거버넌스 체계를 적용하여 실제 운영시스템에 적용한다. IT거버넌스에 기반 한 예외사항 및 오류처리에 관하여 공공자격 온라인 처리시스템의 개발 전략과 목표를 기준으로 구축, 운영, 지원, 모니터링 등에 대하여 각각의 처리모듈에서 발생 가능한 예외사항과 오류처리에 대하여 시스템 관리자와 함께 일반 행정처리 중심의 사용자를 바탕으로 한 처리 지침의 세부적 사항을 기술적으로 적용하는 개발 방법론을 도입한다. 개발자와 관리자 및 행정사용자가 중심체계가 되는 방법론을 적용하여 예외사항 및 오류처리에 대한 지침서를 모델링하는 본 논문은 공공자격처리시스템 프로젝트를 일반 및 실무분야에 대한 2개의 대규모 개발 시스템으로 분류하고 세부사항을 도출하고 운영책임 관리자와 일반 행정처리 사용자에게 적용하여 결과를 평가한다. 국가정보화 IT거버넌스 혁신을 통하여 8가지 영역의 표준 지침서 제작의 필요성이 대두되어지는 관점에서 본 연구가 국가가 시행하는 공공자격 처리시스템의 특수 분야에서 확장되어진 기술적 공유를 추구할 수 있다.

This study proposes a monitoring system that effectively watches surroundings by cooperating the various sensor information including image information on a sensor network system. The monitoring system proposed in this paper is developed to watch certain intruders to the internal spaces through the interested region for exceptional time by installing cameras, PIR(Pyroelectric Infrared Ray) sensor and body detectors in such interested regions. Moreover the monitering system is implemented based on the SenWeaver plateform which is a integrated development tools for building wireless sensor network system. In the results of the test that was applied to a practically experimental environment by implementing some interfaces for the proposed system, it was considered that it is possible to watch surroundings effectively using the image information obtained from cameras and multiple sensor information acquisited from sensor nodes.

최근들어 RFID 기반의 SCM에 대한 연구는 많이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 공급망상에서 이동중인 물류정보의 오류를 동기화하고, 장치기반 인프라의 상태정보를 모니터링하여 활성화해주는 연구와 기술은 아직 미흡하다. "물류정보동기화 기반의 Smart SCM 모델"은 실시간으로 각 물류 거점에 설치된 RFID 인프라 장치 및 물류 프로세스 동기화 현황을 Dashboard를 통하여 모니터링하고, 예외상황 발생시에 다양한 의사결정 지원정보 제공을 통해 즉각적인 상황 조치가 가능한 지능형 공급망 통합관제 서비스 모델이다. 본 연구 모델은 물류국제 표준, RFID관련 국제 표준 규격, EPCIS 표준, SSI 미들웨어 플랫폼을 준용하여 표준화 하므로써 관련 기술 국내 표준 규격을 제시하고자 하였다.

In the monitoring system based on web service application, it is faced with the problems like code reproduction, difficult scalability and error recovery derived from the frequent change of data structure. So we propose a technique of monitoring system by DTD(Document Type Definition) automatic generation. This technique is to use dynamic server-side script to cope with the change of sensor data structure, generate the DTD dynamically. An it also adapt the AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) for XML data parsing, it can support mass data transmission and exception processing for data loss and damage. This technique shows the result of recovery time is decreased about 44.8ms in case of temporary data failure by comparing to the conventional XML method.

In this paper, we design and implement educational system by using active database technique in www environments. The developed system consists of three modules such as user group interface, active-based monitor, and expert group interface. The roles of each module are summarized as follows. The user group interface provides with system accessibility the users who registered in the developed system. The active-based monitor, triggering modules, consists of three sub-modules such as keyword parser, exception handler, and DB access module. Also it manages five items such as keyword index, Q&A DB, user group mailing list, and expert group mailing list. The expect group interface provides answer filling form for the expert who registered in the developed system.
