"Artist Welfare Act" from the November 18, 2012 is being implemented. However, in the field of traditional culture and art the artists are the subject of a variety of policies by the newly launched Korean Artist Welfare Foundation Artists, but most of video production professionals are not aware of law enforcement and their legal status is ambiguous. This research raised the issue of poor video production workers welfare, and to seek the ways took a look at the key information of "Artist Welfare Act" and social issues. To this end, by in-depth interviews with video workers I analyzed the relationship between the parties, such as comments about the issues. Accordingly, a wide range of video production to reflect the welfare of workers in the "Artist Welfare Act" of the amendment shall be made. Above all, this should be reflected in measures to raise funds for artist welfare.

"Arts and Cultural Education Promotion Act" comes with institutionalization of arts and cultural education in Korea, and tends to mean facilitating occupational professionalism in historical perspectives. In particular, the nature of vocational identity of professional educators in arts and cultural education is the main focus of analysis and debate for human resource development. Accordingly, this study emphasizes the diversity of arts and cultural education practices and reveals that the vocational training of arts and cultural education experts should be based on various curriculum and programs which take an interdisciplinary approach. In this respect, excessive simplification of vocational identity of the experts may exert negative effect on the diversity and excellence of arts and cultural education. To meet the needs of the arts and cultural education, curriculum and training program for university level should be newly developed or revised through an interdisciplinary approach with the job analysis of practicing professionals.

This study takes a look at diverse artistic strategies is taking as a graphic novel of participation. Pascal Croci has used and combined the forms to convey the message he want as a writer of an inclusive graphic novel, image-text. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of viewing satisfaction on the reuse intention according to organizational competence. The results of the empirical analysis were as follows. First, satisfaction of visitors to culture and arts cooperative was found to affect re - use intention. Second, the organizational capacity of culture and arts co - operative association was found to affect re - use intention. Third, it was found that the satisfaction of audience of culture - arts co - operative association influenced re - use intention according to organizational capacity. Therefore, this study confirms the influence on the audience satisfaction and re - use intention of the culture - art cooperative association, and it is meaningful to provide the theoretical implication by confirming that the organizational capacity also has an influence on the re - use intention.

As the sound art field is keep growing and expanding, we shall contemplate from the sociology of the arts and cognitive science point of views to wisely accept and properly appreciate various artistic works and practices. It is because the value evaluation of new arts shall substantially involve analysis and inspections with considerations of today's complex environments, the creative productions, and the consumptions; because, such critiques are necessity for the advancement of new arts. This paper briefly introduces reasoning of including sociological analysis and criticism in evaluating sound arts beyond dichotomy of the fine arts and music fields. It also looks into changes and conditions of cultural arts grants and allowances of the interdisciplinary art genre in South Korea as it has been almost alone a playground for its domestic creative practices of the sound art. This paper is written in a hope to suggest some possible directions for future developments of these contemporary borderless and/or experimental arts.

In the information-oriented society of 21st century, the added value of creativity has never been so important to need any further discussion. This research investigates an implication of metonymic activities in early childhood Convergence arts education as a basis of the creative education by analyzing EduDrama, the program which helps children acquire creativity through metonymic activities. To this end, this research proposes a desirable way of early childhood arts education by organizing limited situation of early childhood education in Korea with domestic and foreign cases applying metonymic activities. Despite actively conducted studies on arts education led by existing arts management field in Korea, arts education research for early childhood is still not entirely satisfactory. Therefore, this research makes clear the value of arts education using metonymic activities provided during early childhood on the assumption that the added value of our life depends on the creative human resource of 21st century.

This is a study about the arts as political tools by absolute royal authority in time of Louis X IV through the movie Le Roi danse(2000). The King, Louis X IV was an enthusiast of Arts. During the during the reign of Louis X IV, French Baroque art was blossomed exuberantly. the movie shows how the King uses the arts as a tool of his absolute authority. there are artists, Jean Baptiste Lully and Moliere, and while the movies shows how these artists could get the King's confidence and the king manipulate the arts for strengthen his authority as an absolute royalty.

This study aimed to find ways to reduce self-censorship by identifying the conflict and attribution to the motivation for self-censorship during the curriculum of the College of Arts. The analysis confirmed the significance of each relationship by conducting a correlation and regression analysis between the variables, and the analysis of the effects was based on the significant factors among them. The analysis showed the external locus of control toward self-censorship and interpersonal conflict had a partial mediation effect. In other words, as the degree of conflict in the educational environment increases, art college students are aware of the cause of the problem due to external characteristics such as others, task difficulty, etc., and thus confirmed the conclusion that frustration and shame caused by it become the motive for self-censorship.

At present, domestic archives within the realm of performing arts predominantly focus on recording through videos, yet they often lack comprehensive documentation of crucial production processes and content services. Recognizing the contemporary significance of archival content services, this study analyzes the archival content within the national performing arts archives websites of the United Kingdom and the United States, serving as international benchmarks. The findings extrapolate insights and implications to propose enhancements for the Museum of Performing Arts in the National Theater of Korea. The analysis focused mainly on the missions and visions on the websites, examining 107 contents from the UK National Theater, 27 from the United States, and 9 from Korea. The suggested improvements encompass clarifying target users and execution tasks in the mission and vision statements, fostering expert collaborations, incorporating preview features, curating content with a single theme, and organizing a comprehensive list on the National Theater's YouTube channel.

After the enactment of the Local Culture Promotion Act in 2014, the government has been continuously trying to find the direction of the local culture that reflects the local life and conforms to the local people's emotions. In response to these efforts, the Organizing Committee for the C Region Biennale has uniquely formed the Biennale Artistic Director as a local artist who includes the historical, ecological and emotional characteristics of the C region. Therefore, I sought to explore the perception of the identity and role of the local cultural arts director through the narratives of the research participants who were appointed as the local residents of the C region and the director of the Craft Biennale. For the study, six local cultural arts directors were selected as research participants, and their identity as a local cultural arts director and its role were explored, focusing on their narratives. In this process, various types of data such as photographs, documents, in - depth interviews, and conference materials were collected and narrative was analyzed based on deterministic events. The results of the investigation are as follows. The idea of the identity of the local cultural arts directors was found to be in three directions. First, it is the view that the symbolic role of the artistic supervisory system of the 10 persons guarantees the identity. Second, the identity of local cultural arts directors was recognized as a role to find ways to be localized by developing and debating cultural and artistic discourses in various regions. Third, the participants had a concern and affection for local cultural arts, not one-time but continuous, and recognized it as their identity. The directors who participated in the interviews showed that the discourse of cultural arts in various regions were developed and discussed, and they wanted to find ways to be localized. The roles of local cultural arts directors recognized by research participants in connection with their identity are as follows. First, it should be the subject of systematic and long-term planning that can close the year and connect with the art events of the following year. Second, it should play a role of academic / research that can derive the identity of social and cultural ecological analysis connected with the area. Third, local arts professionals are required to act as cultural brokers, ie local culture professionals, who can create a venue for international cultural exchanges. Research on the form of local government supervision as a mediator of local cultural arts is to find out the origin of the identity of local artists and to establish a methodology for the direction of culture and art as a subject of local people. In addition, there is a need for continued interest and research in providing a reflection on the communication and meaning of the desirable local culture, and suggesting the system for cultivating local cultural arts intermediaries.
