Contemporary fashion criticism tends to rely solely on the established art criticism process without consideration of the distinctive characteristics of fashion. Thus, this study aims to reveal the unique roles and characteristics of fashion criticism by recognizing it as an independent field in contemporary art with its own social significance. This study will first apply traditional art criticism models to analyze and explore contemporary fashion criticism's empirical content before uncovering the uniqueness of contemporary fashion criticism by content analysis. Contemporary fashion criticism discusses not just physical objects but various topics and ideas, as well. Accordingly, the existing criticism model was modified in this study to fit contemporary fashion criticism and organized into five stages: description of historical fashion, form description, external evaluation, interpretation, and internal evaluation. Commerciality, the human body, coordination, the critic's individuality, trends, and fashion-related persons were identified as key factors of contemporary fashion criticism's uniqueness. In conclusion, rather than build a single contemporary fashion model, this study found it more effective to create individual fashion criticism models suitable for detailed fields, as these enable the discussion of multifaceted topics in the fashion field. This study is expected to serve a meaningful guide for the fashion discourses.

V.V. Rozanov, a well-known writer and thinker, has wrote many critical essays about Russian literature and writers. The most famous literary criticism written by him is an essay about F. Dostoevsky - Legend of the Grand Inquisitor (1894), which has been highly appraised by N. Berdyaev. If Dostoevsky was the best and the most admirable writer by Rozanov, Gogol was one of the most condemned one by him. This paper, first of all, aims to analyze Rozanov's literary essays about Gogol. At this time, our subjects of analysis included writer's critical essays about Pushkin and Dostoevsky because Rozanov tried to investigate the nature of a creation of Gogol through comparative studies. Based on these analyses, we attempted to deduce an overall view of Rozanov about Russian literature. We also examined the influence of Rozanov on the later criticism.

문학과 음악처럼 다른 두 예술 분야에서는 필연적으로 발생하는 시대별 표현방법의 변화에서 공통점이 발견되기 마련이다. 시기적으로는 고전주의적 표현에서 낭만주의적 표현으로의 변화를 겪은 18-19 세기 영, 미 문학의 표현 형태와 20세기 중반 미국재즈의 획기적인 표현방법상의 변화에서 공통점을 발견할 수 있다. 1846년, 제약과 규범의 틀을 탈피한 인간 중심의 자기 주도적 표현 방식을 보인 낭만주의적 성향이 만연한 시기에 모든 창작은 계산에 의해 나와야한다는 에드거 앨런 포우의 한 비평문이 소개된다. 신고전주의적 사상의 출발로 볼 수 있을 정도인 이 비평문에서 포우는 작가의 순간적 감정을 자제시키면서 창작은 사전 준비에 의해서만 행해져야한다는 주장을 한다. 이 연구는 포우가 비평문을 통하여 주장하는 사상을 마일즈 데이비스의 작품 속에서 의도적 창작의 개연성을 연계하여 유추하는 것에 중심을 둔다.

소설가는 지금 영화나 방속극에서 대본작가가 맡은 것과 비슷한 역할을 맡을 것이다. 이미 우리사회에서 가장 큰 영향력을 지닌 작가들은 텔레비전 연속극 작가들이라는 주장을 펼 수도 있는 상황이 되었다. 시인은 노래의 가사를 만드는 일에 힘을 쏟게 될 것이고, 평론가는 그런 예술작품들의 비평자라기보다는 소개자가 될 것이다.

80년대 문단이 문학의 사회성과 예술성을 둘러싼 리얼리즘과 모더니즘의 선명한 대립선상에서 파악될 수 있다면, 이념의 깃발이 내려진 90년대 문단을 지배한 것은 문학(비평)의 위기와 상업주의의 악마적 질주에 대한 문학적 대응이라고 할 수 있다. 선명한 진영은 해체되고 위기의 담론이 넘쳤으며 문단 상업주의는 더욱 노골화됐다. 따라서 90년대는 '중심'을 상실해간 시대에 진정성의 문학이 놓일 자리를 찾는 잡음과 소음의 연대로 기록될 것이다.

This research scrutinizes the concept of 'Juchegeonchuk' (self-reliance ideology in architecture), which is a key concept to understand the architecture and urbanism of North Korea in the 1970's and 80's. In the 1970's and 80's, Kim Jong-il began to appear in politics in earnest after Kim Il-sung appointed Kim Jong-il as Kim Il-sung's successor to the next generation. There have been many previous studies about 'Juchesasang' (self-reliance ideology) in various fields, except in architecture. On the other hand, the in-depth research into Juchegeonchuk, which was a method to strengthen Juchesasang, was not good enough in architecture. In this sense, this research investigates the concept of Juchegeonchuk based on the Geonchugyesullon (The Art of Architecture), which embodied the thought of architecture and culture of Kim Jong-il published in 1992. This research scrutinizes the idea of Juchegeonchuk on The Art of Architecture, and its representation in architecture and urbanism in Pyeongyang based on the idea of Juchegeonchuk. It enables to find a new interpretation of North Korea's architecture introduced by Kim, Jong-il in the late 20th century.

본 연구는 환경예술운동의 선구자격이며 가장 대표적인 작가로 평가되는 로버트 스미슨의 작품에 대한 연구를 통해 그의 경관미학의 개념화에 대하여 고찰해 보고자 하였으며 궁극적으로 본 연구가 환경예술운동이 현대 조경설계에 미친 영향에 대한 기초 연구라는데 본 논문의 의의를 찾고자 한다. 스미슨의 작품이 조경에서 다루는 경관의 여러 가지 관점을 다루었으며, la국을 중심으로 조경설계에서 공간의 시각적 표현을 시도한 몇몇 조경설계가의 작품배경 또한 환경예술로 불리어지는 일련의 작품군과 작가의 주장에 많은 영향을 받았음에도 불구하고 그의 작품이 조경분야에서 연구의 대상으로 활발하게 다루어지지 못한 것도 사실이다. 본 연구에서는 스미슨의 경관미학의 개념화를 그의 작품을 통해 살펴보았으며, 스미슨의 작품과 조경설계와의 연관성, 그리고 현대 조경설계에 미친 스미슨의 공헌등을 조명해 보았다. 스미슨의 초기작품들은 개발로 인한 환경 및 경관의 남용 혹은 황폐화에 대한 비평적인 관점을 예술적 형태로 묘사한 반면, 후기 작품들에서는 환경 및 경관에 대한 예술적인 조작에 긍정적인 가치를 부여하고자 한 것이었다. 스미슨의 작품이 현대 조경에 미친 가장 큰 공헌은 무엇보다도 경관 및 환경의 변화에 영향을 미치는 수단으로서 예술을 활용했다는 것일 것이다. 환경예술가들의 주장과 그들의 작품이 현대 조경설계에 구체적으로 어떻게 형상화되었는지에 대한 연구는 앞으로 규명되어야 할 부분이라고 판단된다.

The purpose of this study was to look into Korean film criticism that started during Japanese occupation. It's specifically attempted to shed light on the development and significance of Joseon film criticism and on film movement theory as part of the history of Korean early modern film criticism. When kino-drama that could be called the start of Joseon movies was popular, enlightenment-based view of movie was rampant due to the inflow of western civilization and modernistic consciousness. Afterwards, the nature of movie itself drew a lot of attention from contemporary people in the silent picture days, and there appeared a critical trend in pursuit of artistry. Diverse criteria of criticism about reality and representation were presented, and a lot of disputes were eventually stirred up. Thus, criticism started to make a progress. A proletarian film movement theory, the so-called KAPF film campaign that was prevalent from the mid-1920s to the mid-1930s, was one of leading contemporary movie theories and took the lead in critic community. That had a great impact on the entire Joseon film circles. That took a proletarian view of movie, which was based on Bolshevik theory of Popularization and dialectic historical materialism. their criticism made a contribution to providing information on foreign movies and theories and to presenting main principles and multiple alternatives toward film organization and playing.

Sound Art retains heterogeneous and borderless inborn-characteristics on it. Despite it is a non-mainstream art which could not foster fertile soil to bring up many established artists yet, the domestic area is keep growing and expanding. And now it will soon be that time of overcoming the debates between the art world and the music world to widely embrace de-facto artworks and practices, and bringing more quality critiques. This article talks about a concise history of sound art by addressing some singularities and chronicle traces of it which may be helpful information to lead into more opened future discussion forums in the domestic sound art field.
