Study on the Quantitative Analysis of the Major Environmental Effecting Factors for Selecting the Railway Route (철도노선선정에 영향을 미치는 주요환경항목 정량화에 관한 연구)

  • The energy efficiency and environment-friendly aspect of the railway system would be superior to other on-land ransportation systems. In a preliminary feasibility study stage and selection of optimal railway route, the energy efficiency and problems related to environment are usually considered. For the selection of optimal railway route, geographical features and facility of management are generally considered. Environment effect factors for the selection of environment-friendly railway router are focused and studied in this paper. In this study, various analysis of opinion of specialists (railway, environment, transport, urban planning, survey) and the guideline for construction of environment-friendly railway were accomplished. From these results of various analysis, 7 major categories (topography/geology, flora and fauna, Nature Property, air quality, water quality, noise/vibration, visual impact/cultural assets) were extracted. To select environment friendly railway route, many alternatives should be compared optimal route must be selected by a comprehensive assessment considering these 7 categories. To solve this problem, the selected method was AHP which simplifies the complex problems utilizing hierarchy, quantifying qualitative problems through 1:1 comparison, and extracting objective conclusions by maintaining consistency. As a result, a GUIbased program was developed which provides basic values of weighted parameters of each category defined by specialists, and a quantification of detailed assessment guidelines to ensures consistency.

  • Recently, The government is actively transit road-oriented Traffic System to the eco-friendly and high-efficiency railroad-oriented transportation system for the sustainable green growth. The second plan of Nationwide Railway Network which has been officially announced rearrange to integration, multi-core, open architecture country by the railway network and integrate to the one mega city that rink an important city in one hour 30 minute. But the railroad industry is disadvantageous when it compares with the road industry on the ground that railroad industry peculiarities(a cost-benefit analysis, an environment value, etc) have not reflected in the (preliminary) feasibility study for SOC industry. The government establish Improved methodology of Rail Investment Rating System and improved preliminary feasibility study in railroad project by introduction many content(analysis periods, rate of discount, the benefits of shortening of transit hours, the estimation of traffic accident reduction benefits, investment cost of vehicle substitution and operation and maintenance cost of high speed rail) about the Improved methodology of Rail Investment Rating System. This study is intended to consideration the key content that was included in the Improved methodology of Rail Investment Rating System. In addition, the points to be considered for additional study have been reviewed in this study. We hope we will carry out make a reasonable and objective Rail Investment Rating System and to perform the railway industry of the virtuous cycle such improvement plans are reflected at a hereafter railroad section.

Development of Method to Define Influence Area using Travel Time on the Feasibility Study (도로사업 예비 타당성조사에서 통행시간을 이용한 영향권 설정기법의 개발)

  • `Influence Area` means the area that the traffic flow pattern of which is changed remarkably after the construction of highway facilities. The Influence area would be a significant criteria for demand forecasting and economic analysis. However existing methods for defining influence area such as O/D method, traffic volume variation method and rate of traffic volume variation method have no standard criteria. In this paper, some problems which existing methods have are analyzed and a new method travel time method - is introduced. Influence area can be induced as the area where the vehicles reach from starting traffic zone to ending zone to which 95 percentile vehicles want to travel. In addition, the value of standard criteria for defining influence ayes are induced via this method.

  • Dimethyl ether (DME) is a new clean fuel as an environmentally-being energy resources. DME has similar characteristics to those of LPG and can be substituted Diesel fuel. KOGAS has investigated and developed new innovative DME synthesis process from synthesis gas with KOGAS's own technologies. KOGAS had finished the construction of 10ton/day DME demonstration plant in 2008, we have established the basic design of commercial plant which can produce 3,000ton/day DME. Specifically, an economic model for a commercial DME project will be presented. It accounts for all the major cost factors that are considered in a commercial scale project as the model input for performing cash flow analysis, after which key economic indicators are produced including the internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV). Sensitivity analysis is performed to identify dominant cost factors to the project economics and quantify their impact. The inputs to the economic analysis will be based on representative cost factors from the commercial-scale design of KOGAS' direct DME process supplemented by literature data. Case study results will be presented based on recent commercialization projects.

  • This study proposed cost prediction equation model by considering duration, construction, size, actual cost with the subway construction started by the actual cost system which was introduced since 2004. Costs - scale exponent n(confidence range: 0.5 to 0.7) for cost prediction of subway construction was drawn total cost(0.713), net cost(0.77) in point of the 11 subway construction data. The cost prediction equation model of the subway construction which was presented in this study is able to effectively apply to business planning, preliminary investigation, feasibility study, basic design stage to estimate the approximate cost in the future.

  • This study attempted to estimate construction costs in accordance with the resource-based cost estimation (unit cost price) system by diameter for TBM method, and analyzed the direct cost and the total cost. Based on such figures, this study performed a regression analysis and proposed a model for an equation for estimating construction costs. model for the resource-based cost estimation (unit cost price) system classified by diameter for TBM method proposed by this study can be effectively applied to business planning, preliminary investigation, feasibility study, construction cost estimations in the early design stages.

Developing the Self-Reporting Scale of Community Integration for the Person with Psychiatiric Disabilities (정신장애인의 자기보고식 지역사회통합 척도 개발)

  • This study aims to develop a valid self-report scale for the community integration of persons with psychiatric disabilities. To this end, conducted were in-depth interviews with individuals with psychiatric disabilities, consultation with experts, and a survey. First, literature review and the in-depth interview with individuals with psychiatric disabilities were collected questionnaires regarding the community integration of persons with psychiatric disabilities. Second, preliminary research 1 focused on the selection and modification of the items collected in the first research. Final 44 items were selected by the verification of the importance and content-validity of items under the advices of professionals. Lastly, preliminaty research 2 applied cross-validation method to the data from 524 cases in order to verify the factor structure and concept-validity of the items. The result of exploratory factor analysis shows that 5 factor structures are the most appropriate, and the confirmatory factor analysis suggests that the Self-reporting Scale of Community Integration for the person with psychiatric disabilities consists of 27 questionnaires which compose 5sub-concepts such as'psychological integration','physical integration', 'social support', 'social integration', 'independence/self-actualization'. Moreover, this scale was significantly related to the 'Life Satisfaction scale for the person with psychiatric disabilities'. This proved concurrent validity of the scale.

Ageism Survey : A Report on Instrument Development (연령주의(Ageism) 척도의 개발 및 타당성 연구)

  • This study aims to identify and evaluate the contents of ageism and to develop instrument of ageism. Ageism instrument development remains a necessary in aging research, for the explication of actual condition of ageing. The current study describes multidimensional view of ageism toward aging and the elderly. After pre-test and review of professionals, 31 items was constructed. Data were obtained from KGSS Survey of 1535 participants. The sample was randomly divided into two group to test reliability and validity of the scale. Finally, the 23-items with seven factors were suggested, based on the internal reliability and exploratory factor analysis with the first group. Another group were conducted confirmatory factor analysis. The results showed that the final 23-item scale with seven factors had a good model fit. Development and refinement of ageism scale are necessary elements for proceeding beyond theoretical and empirical discussions in ageism. It also provides a implications for current views of ageism and strategies for reducing ageism.

  • This paper use virtual running after possible traffic capacity application for optimal route location. General road is designed the design after we examine an alternate adequacy investigation and an execution design sufficiently. Various road user's requirement must be reflected from the beginning. But it is difficult to contain the various suitable design criteria because we consider the existing 2-dimension element. First of all, this study chose optimal route, used traffic assignment and 3D simulation. Then selected optimal route through the consistent road construction by analyzing road driving simulation of 3-dimension data and the urban landscape. possible traffic capacity and virtual running will be able to do the urban landscape analysis harmonizing with the environment; equally, it could be objectively solve the problem of a civil appeal.

  • 2004년 개발된 다차원홍수피해산정법(MD-FDA)은 홍수에 따른 경제적 피해를 추정하기 위한 기법으로서 그 동안 하천설계기준, 댐설계기준, KDI 예비타당성조사 지침 등에 반영되어 실무에서 활발히 사용 중이다. 그러나 그 동안 많은 연구에서 MD-FDA의 인벤토리 체계, 가용자료의 정밀성, 손상함수, 손실유형 범위와 관련한 개선이 요구되었으며, 최근에는 재난위기 관리 능력강화를 위한 "한국형 재난피해 예측 시스템" 개발의 필요성이 제기되면서 현재 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 재난손실과 관련한 많은 연구를 진행 중이다. 이에 본 연구는 국외 주요 홍수손실 예측 모델과 현재 국가차원에서 서비스되는 상세자료를 검토하여 일반건물(general building)의 홍수손실 평가 체계를 제시하고, 이와 연관된 세부요소 기술을 정립하였다. 우선, 지역 내 건물현황 및 특성정보가 참조가능한 자료를 바탕으로 일반건물의 유형을 분류하였고, 이밖에 건물손실 평가에서 주요 참고자료로 활용되는 인구, 종사자수 등의 사회 경제적 정보를 연계한 인벤토리 DB 구조를 설계하였다. 이로부터 구축되는 인벤토리 DB는 위치정보를 포함하는 공간자료이며, 손상(damage)과 손실(loss)을 평가하기 위한 건물특성 정보를 포함한다. 한편, 본 연구에서의 건물손실은 자산의 총가치를 기준으로 한 상대적 손상률(%)을 설명하는 손상함수를 기반으로 하기 때문에 감가상각을 고려한 건물의 완전대체비용(건물자산가치)가 정의되어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 최근 한국감정원에서 발간한 "건물신축단가표"와 "유형고정자산 내용연수표"를 바탕으로 손실평가에 필요한 요소기술을 정립하였다. 제시한 일련의 과정은 동두천시 신천 범람사례를 대상으로 적용하였고, 그 결과를 기존의 MD-FDA 결과와 비교하였다.
