The characters' voices in the movie, Rashomon mean the absence of memories created by self-consciousness in order to avoid the crisis. The varying statements of the characters and the three spaces: the space of Nakanimon (th e ruins), the representation space as polyphony (the forest), the egoistic space of truth (the guardian), show the social ills of doubtfulness and mistrust among the Japanese at that time due to the defeat from the war. This matches with the polyphony theory of Mr. Bakhtin, a Russian cultural critic. The key concept of polyphony theory is that the voices that do not accord each other are not harmonized but each voice builds their own world and participates in the novel without being influenced by the creator. This study's aim is to discuss two aspects; Bakhtin's polypony theory allows polyphony film s to function as cinematic composition and spatial characteristics of polyphony films in the movie, Rashomon.

Recently, real-time streaming services are gaining popularity among the MZ generation and the market size is continuously growing. Pre-recorded and edited videos only show one-way communication, but real-time streaming services have the advantage of responding immediately to questions and requests from users, as they enable two-way communication. With the transition from face-to-face culture to non-face-to-face culture due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of users communicating in real-time video for activities such as classes, meetings, and leisure has dramatically increased. However, as real-time streaming services become more active and diverse generations participate, there is a problem of conflicts arising from language differences, including the use of neologisms. To address this issue, this paper proposes a method of collecting the meaning of neologisms through the Wikipedia API and presenting them to each other, so that they can understand each other's intentions.
This study aims at understanding the components of on-line newspaper and how each newspaper's layout configuration is differentiated through the analysis on the websites of 10 general daily newspapers in the news stand of NAVER. The collection of data was implemented twice, and One-Way ANOVA was used as an analyzing way. The content of the analysis was carried out based on the types of visual images, the number of photo-based articles and title-based articles, the size of image for the main story, etc. As a result of analysis, the rate of news articles with the audios, videos, cards and slides differentiated from paper-based newspaper was low, and also the news articles using the informative graphics and the graphic sources were very small in number. As a whole, the newspapers in the news stand of NAVER showed that they attempt to make a distinction of their newspaper layout by using a variety of editorial techniques. The significance of this paper is to offer a basic clue to the editing formation to promote the news consumption of newspapers. Under the circumstance that the ecology of media is rapidly being reformed by new media technology, the continuous study of how the newspaper layout should be changed will be needed.

The previous media has the function that was information of the contents was delivered by only content providers, but the current media makes the interactive function between content providers and general receivers. For this reason, the role of receivers are also expanded in the realm of multimedia and receivers have the roles of the sending and getting information for content user, not more receiver. The constituent members relative to content are content providers, users and user-created content. This paper introduces "the wonderland" the animation process management system for high-level user group. Also, most of images which are made of the animation process are publicly accessible, providing the public or the average user group for making resources easily by using "the wonderland." Although, the general user can get an environment to reedit their own new movie with making the most of provided movie sources are scene and cut units, according to one's taste and one's idea. The materialization of process management system can expand dramatically enough contents, and save the time to edit digital animation or movie, control numerous sources, made an animation processing, and the result output. Such "the wonderland" will significantly help to create future content.

In this paper, we propose a method for automatically generating story-based abbreviated summaries from long-form dramas and movies. From the shooting stage, the basic premise was to compose a frame with illusion of depth considering the golden division as well as focus on the object of interest to focus the viewer's attention in terms of content delivery. To consider how to extract the appropriate frames for this purpose, we utilized elemental techniques that have been utilized in previous work on scene and shot detection, as well as work on identifying focus-related blur. After converting the videos shared on YouTube to frame-by-frame, we divided them into a entire frame and three partial regions for feature extraction, and calculated the results of applying Laplacian operator and FFT to each region to choose the FFT with relative consistency and robustness. By comparing the calculated values for the entire frame with the calculated values for the three regions, the target frames were selected based on the condition that relatively sharp regions could be identified. Based on the selected results, the final frames were extracted by combining the results of an offline change point detection method to ensure the continuity of the frames within the shot, and an edit decision list was constructed to produce an abbreviated summary of 62.77% of the footage with F1-Score of 75.9%

In this study, disaster damage investigation system was developed using high resolution satellite images and GIS technique to afford effective damage investigation system for widely disaster damaged area. Study area was selected in Bonghwa, Gyungsangbukdo where high magnitude of damages from torrential rain has occurred at July in 2008. GIS DB was built using 1:5,000 topographic map, cadastral map, satellite image and aerial photo to apply for investigation algorithm. Disaster damage investigation system was developed using VB NET languages, ArcObject component and MS-SQL DBMS for effective management of damage informations. The system can finding damaged area comparing pre- and post-disaster images and drawing damaged area according to the damage item unit. Extracted object was saved in Shape file format and overlayed with background GIS DB for obtaining detail information of damaged area. Disaster damage investigation system using high resolution spatial images can extract damage information rapidly and highly reliably for widely disaster areas. This system can be expected to highly contributing to enhance the disaster prevention capabilities in national level field investigation supporting and establishing recovery plan etc. This system can be utilized at the plan of disaster prevention through digital damage information and linked in national disaster information management system. Further studies are needed to better improvement in system and cover for the linkage of damage information with digital disaster registry.

In this paper, the need for lifelong education and distance education is increasing due to the decrease of population and the increase of life expectancy. In addition, the popularization and everydayization of education, which combines daily life and learning, is an educational feature. Individuals can more easily access knowledge, and video plays an important role. Video content is the most basic medium that leads to the popularization and daily life of education. With the development of information and communication technology, popularization of media content production and editing technology, anyone can easily create and share. The video education contents business is expected to increase globally through SNS. Especially, the video contents education industry related to flower design is regarded as a suitable content field in an era where environment is essential. In the modern era, characterized by the "one-person household, one-person media" era, the environment of plants protects people from stress by restoring human emotional efficiency, environmental comfort, and stability. In other words, because humans have a preference for nature, plants play an important role for humanity recovery. Against this backdrop, flower design is expected to be a promising industrial sector with high growth, high value added and high job creation effects. In the era of the fourth revolution of the human race, competitive video contents are expected to influence the growth of the future country. will be.
With the development of video editing technology, there are growing uses of overlay text inserted into video contents to provide viewers with better visual understanding. Since the content of the scene or the editor's intention can be well represented by using inserted text, it is useful for video information retrieval and indexing. Most of the previous approaches are based on low-level features, such as edge, color, and texture information. However, existing methods experience difficulties in handling texts with various contrasts or inserted in a complex background. In this paper, we propose a novel framework to localize the overlay text in a video scene. Based on our observation that there exist transient colors between inserted text and its adjacent background a transition map is generated. Then candidate regions are extracted by using the transition map and overlay text is finally determined based on the density of state in each candidate. The proposed method is robust to color, size, position, style, and contrast of overlay text. It is also language free. Text region update between frames is also exploited to reduce the processing time. Experiments are performed on diverse videos to confirm the efficiency of the proposed method.

The paradigm focusing on learner-centered classes and the introduction of flipped learning through the connection between online and offline have been increasing. This study proved the educational effect by applying flipped learning to the basic draping course within the fashion practical course and revealed the implications for flipped learning from the instructor's perspective. The research methods are theatrical research and model development research in order to guide basic drape utilizing flipped learning. The study results revealed that learners' satisfaction was very high about the basic draping course combined with flipped learning, and it showed that students were very satisfied with the learning-related video because it can compensate for the decrease in education efficiency according to the number of attendees and improve education. Improvements shall include technical and content supplementation of video learning materials and presentation of documented learning materials, in addition to video materials. From the instructor's perspective, time needs to be set aside for video shooting and editing, a view of the composition of education from the learner's perspective, and an in-depth understanding of the instructor's curriculum for flipped learning design.
Purpose : The purpose of this study was a phantom study to measure the diffusion properties of water molecules by steady-state free precession diffusion-weighted imaging (SSFP- DWI) with a low b-value and to determine if this sequence might be useful for application to the evaluation of bone marrow pathology. Materials and methods : 1. The phantom study: A phantom study using two diffusion weighted sequences for the evaluation of the diffusion coefficient was performed. Three water-containing cylinders at different temperatures were designed: phantom A was $3^{\circ}C$, B was $23^{\circ}C$ and C was $63^{\circ}C$. Both SSFP and echo planar imaging (EPI) sequences (b-value: $1000s/mm^2$) were performed for comparison of the diffusion properties. The Signal to noise ratios (SNR) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values of the three phantoms using each diffusion-weighted sequence were assessed. 2. The Clinical study: SSFP-DWI was performed in 28 patients [sacral insufficiency fractures (10), osteoporotic lumbar compression fractures (10), malignant compression fractures (8)]. To measure the ADC maps, a diffusion-weighted single shot stimulated echo-acquisition mode sequence ($650s/mm^2$) was obtained using the same 1.5-T MR imager Results : For the phantom study, the signal intensity on the SSFP as well as the classic EPI-based DWI was decreased as the temperature increased in phantom A to C. The ADC values of the phantoms on EPI-DWI were $0.13{\times}10^{-3}mm^2/s$ in phantom A, $0.22{\times}10^{-3}mm^2/s$ in B and $0.37{\times}10^{-3}mm^2/s$. in C. The SSFP can be regarded as a DWI sequence in view of the series of signal decreases. Conclusion : Bone marrow pathologies with different diffusion coefficients were evaluated by SSFP-DWI. All benign fractures were hypointense compared to the adjacent normal bone marrow where as the malignant fractures were hyperintense compared to the adjacent normal bone marrow.
