본 연구는 영남지역일대의 주요암반을 대상으로 그 지질특성을 조사하고 암석 및 지질의 특성과 물성시험 자료를 토대로 하여 발파 및 항타진동이 지질과의 상관함으로서 관계를 파악하여 더욱 안전하고 경제성 있는 진동설계를 위한 기초자료를 제공함으로 서 현장기술자들이 측정된 진동 자료를 이용하여 진동 추정식을 만들 때 발생하는 오차를 최소화시키고 적합도(＝결정계수, $R^2$)가 비교적 높은 진동 추정식에 대한 상관성을 구하며, 또한 이에 따른 건설소음 및 비산먼지 측정자료의 통계적 처리방안에 대한 연구에 그 목적이 있다.(중략)

Maternal and fetal effects of anesthesia for 423 cesarian section, performed during the past three and quarter years period in this hospital, have been evaluated. It is emphasized that the selection of anesthetic agent and method should depend upon the physical status of the patients and the ability of both obstetrician and anesthesiologists. Author results were as follows: 1. The incidence of c-section was 13.9% of total deliveries. 2. More than about three fourths of total cases were emergency cases. 3. Almost all cases were operated under general anesthesia. 4. The good physical states of patients resulted in better Apgar score of infants. 5. The shorter the interval from induction of anesthesia to delivery, the better was the Apgar score of infants.

현대 사회에서 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 환경을 제공하기 위해 활발한 활동이 이루어지고 있다. LR-WPAN 기술인 IEEE802.15.4가 표준화 되면서 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크의 중심 기술로 자리 매김하게 되었다. IEEE802.15 표준은 WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) 즉, 비교적 짧은 거리에서 휴대하여 이동할 수 있는 장치들이 근처의 다른 장치들과 통신이 가능하도록 만든 무선 네트워크 통신 표준이다. 이러한 IEEE802.15 표준들은 PHY와 MAC에 대해서만 표준을 정의 하고 있다. 센서 네트워크에서 가장 중요한 이슈중의 하나는 제한된 자원 즉, 센서 노드에 주어진 에너지를 활용하여 네트워크의 수명을 최대로 연장 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 NS-2 시뮬레이션을 통해 WPAN에서 노드의 전송거리에 따른 에너지 효율을 분석한다.

의료정보 교환을 위한 국제 표준인 HL7 메시지의 처리와 HL7의 다양한 버전 간 호환성 문제를 해결하기 위해 객체 지향적 구조에 기반한 HL7 파서(Parser)가 개발되었다. 그러나 개발된 파서를 의료정보시스템과 연동하여 사용하기 위해서는 의료분야 전문가와 소프트웨어 전문가의 협력이 필수적이다. 또한, 이들 전문가의 협업을 위해서는 각 분야의 전문지식에 대한 상호 이해가 전제되어야 하는데, 이를 위해서는 오랜 시간 상호간의 많은 노력이 필요한 과정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 버전 간 호환 가능한 HL7 파서를 기반으로 하여 HL7 메시지의 생성과 변환을 가능하게 하는 HL7 GUI 도구를 설계한다. 이를 통해, 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 언어에 익숙하지 않은 의료 분야의 전문가들도 HL7 GUI 도구를 통해 개념적으로 표현되는 그래프를 직접 디자인하여 의료정보시스템 간의 다양한 버전의 HL7 메시지를 처리하고 교환할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

Intruding ages for the Jurassic(${\sim}Triassic$) granites in South Korea can be reestablished as $210{\sim}170\;Ma$ and $180{\sim}160\;Ma$ according to the tectonic provinces of magma emplacement. Most Jurassic granites in the Gyeonggi massif have the intrusion ages of $180{\sim}160\;Ma$, indicative of middle Jurassic igneous activity. On the other hand the intrusion ages ($210{\sim}170\;Ma$) for the Jurassic granites in the Yeongnam massif represent late Triassic to middle Jurassic igneous activity. Using the concept of granite suite/supersuite, the Jurassic granites in South Korea can be hierarchically divided into two supersuites and two suites. Huge batholith of NE-SW direction in the Gyeonggi massif could be designated to be 'Gyeonggi Supersuite', which was originated from the mixture of igneous protolith and more evoloved crustal materials and formed in the post-orogenic environment after collision of the north China and south China blocks. There are one supersuite and two suites in the Yeongnam massif 'Yeongnam Supersuite' could be designated from the NE-SW trend batholith in the massif. This supersuite was originated from the mixture of igneous protolith and evolved crustal materials. Granitic rocks between Andong and Girncheon areas could be defined as 'Andong Suite'. This suite was originated from the mixture of depleted mantle and igneous protolith. The Daegang and Hamchang granties could be designated as 'Daegang Suite'. This suite was formed in the anorogenic environment which was different from the orogenic environment of the other supersuite/suite in the Yeongnam massif.

The affect of annual weeds to rice yield with morphological characteristics was evaluated. Rice heading date was shortened 1～5 days and rice culm length was shortened 5～10cm in heavy weed growing condition. No. of grains per panicle and no. of panicle per hill were the major yield components in yield reduction.

Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) has been used as a tool for the rapid, accurate and nondestructive assay of small grain and forage quality analysis. The objective of this study was to establish the rapid, easy and accurate analysis method for major components of covered barley using NIRS system. NIRS used in this study was filter type instrument, Neotec 102. To obtain a useful calibration equation, standard regression between the data was analyzed by chemical analysis and by NIRS method. Standard errors of prediction (SEP) and simple correlations for unknown samples were calculated using obtained equation. SEPs for starch, $\beta$-glucan, protein and ash contents were 2.75%, 0.64%, 0.26% and 0.19%, respectively. The simple correlations for starch, $\beta$-glucan, protein and ash contents were 0.932, 0.588, 0.984 and 0.867, respectively. It was concluded that the NIRS method would be applicabl for the rapid determination of starch, protein and ash contents in barley grains.

자동차의 정면 충돌시 발생하는 충돌에너지를 흡수하여 인명을 보호하기 위한 장비중 구조 역학적 관점에서 고려될 수 있는 것으로 범퍼와 사이드멤버(Side Member)가 있다. 이들중 범퍼는 시속 8km/hr 이하의 저속 충돌시에 탄성 변형에너지로서 충돌에너지를 흡수하는 역할을 하나, 그 이상의 고속 정면 충돌시에는 일반적으로 사이드멤버가 충돌에너지의 60∼70%를 부재의 연속적인 대변형에 의한 소성에너지에 의해 흡수하고 있다. (중략)

Solid and papillary epithelial neoplasm of pancreas is a rare tumor, usually affecting young women, and its histogenesis is still controversial. This study was performed to define the clinicopathologic features and cellular origin of this tumor. Eight female cases of solid and papillary epithelial neoplasm of pancreas were studied by analyzing the clinicopathologic findings and immunohistochemical and electron-microscopic findings. The age of eight cases ranged from 21 to 54 years (mean, 34 years). The tumors developed in the tail (4 cases), body-tail (2 cases), body (1 case) and head (1 case). The mean diameter of tumors was 9.3 em (range, 5.5 to 13 cm). Tumors showed solid, cystic and hemorrhagic areas. Histologically, the tumor cells were uniformly round or polygonal in shape, and formed solid sheets and papillary pattern. On the immunohistochemical stain, 8 cases (100%) were immunoreactive for ${\alpha}1$-antitrypsin, 7 cases (87.5%) for cytokeratin, 7 cases (87.5%) for progesterone receptor, 6 cases (75%) for vimentin, and 1 case (12.5%) for synaptophysin, respectively. None of them were immunoreactive for estrogen receptor. Electron microscopic examination showed many mitochondria, annulate lamellae and canaliculi-like gap. These findings suggest that solid and papillary epithelial tumor of pancreas possibly originates from totipotent stem cells.

대한건축학회와 건설교통부, 한국건축가협회, 대한건축사협회에서 공동주최하는 '건축교육, 건축사제도 개선 및 건축교육인증원 발족을 위한 1차 공동회'가 지난 11월 19일(금)과 20일(토)에 대한건축학회 세미나실에서 열렸다. 이번 공청회는 건축교육, 설계실무 등에 대한 개선방안을 마련하여 건축교육의 국제화 및 국내건축사의 국제경쟁력을 향상시킨다는 주요명제하에 건축 3단체가 공동으로 준비하였다. 이번 공청회의 좌장은 이명호(중앙대 건축학과) 교수가 맡았으며, 주제발표는 '교육제도 개선 및 교육인증'에 대해서는 이문섭, 박한규씨가, '건축사제도 및 건축사보완'에 대해서는 최관영, 박서홍씨가 맡았고, 토론자로는 강병근(건국대 건축공학과 교수), 김우성(아키플랜 대표), 정의용(영남대 건축공학과 교수), 이영근(건설교통부 건축과 과장), 정진원(경기대 건축공학과 교수), 최수태(교육부 대학학사제도과장), 김광현(서울대 건축학과 교수), 김병현(장건축), 김영웅(진원건축), 심재덕(태두건축), 정태화(건설교통부 건축과 사무관), 최동규(서인건축)씨가 참여했다. 이번호에서는 건축교육제도 개선분야, 건축교육인증분야, 건축사제도 및 건축사보완 분야의 발표요약문을 게재한다.
