시간지연 제어를 이용한 영구자석형 동기전동기의 개선된 비선형 속도제어 (Improved Nonlinear Speed Control of PM Synchronous Motor using Time Delay Control)

  • An improved nonlinear speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) is presented. A quasi-linearized and decoupled model including the influence of parameter variations and speed measurement error on the nonlinear speed control of a PMSM is derived. Using this model, to overcome the drawbacks of conventional nonlinear control scheme, the improved nonlinear control scheme that employs time delay control(TDC) is proposed. To show the validity of the proposed control scheme, simulation studies are carried out and compared with the conventional control scheme.

  • This paper presents the dynamic characteristic analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) according to variable load. In order to analyze dynamic characteristics, finite element method(FEM) was used for calculation of the parameter and the Matlab simulink was used for dynamic characteristic simulation. The measuring system of the dynamic characteristics was manufactured and the experiment results were compared with the simulation results.

  • One of the most important technical improvement required for ropeless elevator system to become practical is the improvements in overall system efficiency. Moreover, the predominant drawback of permanent magnet (PM) linear synchronous motor (LSM) is large detent force. Therefore, for the given volume the selection of high power density PM-LSM with low detent force is very imperative. In this paper, we will investigate the characteristics of thrust and detent force of PM-LSM under different motor topology structure. Finally, the long stator double-sided iron core type PM-LSM with fractional slot winding is the best choice for the ropeless elevator system.

  • This paper deals with the magnet arrangement for vibration reduction and improvement in Starting Characteristic of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM). Thrust, detent force, normal force and lateral force are generated in PMLSM. The detent force and lateral force cause the vibration of PMLSM. The detent force and the lateral force are analyzed by using 3-Dimensional Finite Element Method (3-D FEM). The efficiency and vibration of PMLSM are measured by experiment.

  • This paper explained algorithm for a initial pole position estimation of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM). Generally this motor is considered initial pole position with a position sensor such as incremental encoder for the precise initial pole position estimation and high performance. But this is based on the principle that the initial pole position is accomplished by the PI controller using the maximum values of a position error generated by the new proposed two reference frames and also by using a rated force for input. the proposed algorithm does not utilize the general methods such as impedance ratio, EMF and using the magnetic saturation. In other words, this can be applied without respect to variety of the motor structure because of insensitivity to the motor parameters. In conclusion, simulation results are presented to confirm performance of initial pole position estimation method.

  • This paper describes detent force minimization techniques of Permanment Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) for the improvement of control and the driver system to control the position and velocity, PMLSM are simulated by operating open-loop system and PI control system, and in actuality the control system is implemented by DSP based controller and PWM inverter to investigate the characteristics of both open-loop system and PI control system.

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM). Parameters and characteristic variations are evaluated by using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Equivalent Magnetizing Current Method. PMLSM can be classified into the short primary type PMLSM and the short secondary type PMLSM according to their structural features. Especially, the short secondary type PMLSM is focused on because of good control characteristics. And this paper presents the difference of analysis results between the short primary type PMLSM and short secondary type PMLSM and investigates the end effect of two PMLSM's.

  • Detent force is produced in a permanent magnet linear machine. It is generally an undesired effect that contributes to the output ripple of machine, vibration and noise. This paper analyzes detent force in a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) by using various detent force minimization techniques. A two-dimensional Finite Element Method(FEM) is used to predict detent forces due to structural factors and non-linearity. And moving node technique for the drawing models is used to reduce modeling time and efforts.

  • Detent force develops generally undesirable effect that contributes to the output ripple of machine, vibration and noise. This paper proposes detent force minimization techniques for a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM). In addition, thrust according to each minimization technique is estimated to observe the change of machine performance. A two-dimensional Finite Element Method is used to predict detent force and thrust due to structural factors and non-linearity. And moving node technique for geometric models is proposed to reduce modeling time and efforts.

  • 본 논문은 철도에 사용되는 전차선로-집전계 주행시험기용 고속 리니어 추진시스템의 설계를 제안한다. 여러 가지 다양한 추진시스템 중에서 요구사양을 만족하며 짧은 구간에 높은 가속력을 제공할 수 있는 영구자석형 선형동기전동기를 선택하였다. 설계는 전동기의 특성식과 등가자기회로법을 이용하여 수행하였으며, 유한요소법을 이용하여 이를 검증하였다. 또한 실험계획법을 통하여 추진시스템의 성능에 주요한 영향을 미치는 주 설계인자의 분석을 수행하였다.
