Effects of Hot Water and Specific Gravity Treatment on Germination of Legumes and Green Manure Crops (열탕처리와 염수선 처리가 콩과 녹비작물 발아에 미치는 영향)

  • Green manure crops have a variety of benefits, including improving soil fertility, removing soil salinity, enhancing soil aeration and moisture regulation, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, reducing nitrous oxide emissions, reducing herbicide use through weed-suppressive effects, promoting agricultural ecosystem protection and carbon dioxide absorption capacity. To find ways to increase the germination rate of legumes and green manure crop seeds, which are imported in large quantities every year. It was carried out that two seed priming methods, osmotic priming and heat treatment, and compared their effects. Heat treatment was treated for 10 minutes at 40℃ or 60℃, followed by rinsing with water. Osmotic priming was applied for 30 seconds in a saline solution with a specific gravity of 1.13. Overall, there was no significant difference in the final germination rate, but it was found that osmotic priming and heat treatment affected the germination speed. However, applying heat treatment and osmotic priming simultaneously did not affect the germination characteristics. Therefore, it is suggested that heat treatment and osmotic priming can increase the germination speed of soybean and green manure crops.

  • 마그네슘합금은 넓은 분야에서 사용되고 있지만 높은 산화성과 화학반응성 때문에 표면처리를 하지 않고서는 사용 할 수 없다. 따라서 본 과제에서는 개발 중인 신 마그네슘 합금소재의 부식 및 피막특성을 관찰하기 위해 염수분무시험, 염수침지, 분극 시험 및 도장밀착성 내식성 시험을 시행하였다. 이 결과는 새로 개발되는 신 마그네슘 합금 성분 및 함량 결정의 기초 데이터가 될 것이다.

The Effects of Salt Water Treating on Dielectric Properties of FRP Composite Insulation Materials (FRP 복합절연재료의 유전특성에 미치는 염수처리의 영향)

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate FRP rod for aging, which exposed to salt water and pure at elevated temperature. Dielectric constant and tan .delta. on time and frequency domain were tested to observe how rapidly the FRP rod aged. Dielectric constants of FRP rods with treating time were slightly increased. That of FRP rods with frequency, However, showed strongly the effects of large relaxation time estimated from interfacial polarization a or ionic. It is obvious that absorbed water affects to dielectric and electric properties of FRP with increasing the treating time.

Effects of Filtration on the Characteristics of Reused Waste Brine in Kimchi Manufacturing (배추 절임 중 반복사용 폐염수의 여과처리 효과)

  • The waste brine gained from successively reused brine during kimchi manufacturing can cause serious water pollution. We investigated the filtration effects on the physicochemical characteristics and microbial counts of the waste brine. Chinese cabbage was salted for five times successively, and the waste brines were filtered through sand and active carbon column. While original values of salinity and soluble solid contents of waste brine were 15.4% and $18.0^{\circ}$Brix$, respectively, we observed decrease of them to 0.1% and $0.0^{\circ}$Brix$, respectively, after filtration of the waste brine through sand followed by active carbon column. The filtration also recover pH value of the waste brine to its original value, which was decreased by successive salting from 8.3 to 6.0. We also observed that COD of waste brine increased to 63.2 ppm after five times of salting but decreased to 5.1 ppm after active carbon filtration. Total viable count was also increased with successive 5 steps of salting and was not detected after active carbon-filtration.

  • Condition and properties of composites with different chemical structure of epoxy matrix were observed after saline solution treatment. Epoxy was used as matrix and the flexibility was controlled by using 2 typed-epoxies and 3 types hardeners (amine, acid anhydride and amide). Saline water treatment was conducted with 6 wt% NaCl solution at $60^{\circ}C$ for 0, 15, and 30 days. Cross section was observed and interfacial and mechanical and properties was evaluated. Amine type exhibited the highest crosslinking density and mechanical and interfacial properties whereas water absorbance was lowest. It is because that the water molecules can be hardly penetrate into the epoxy matrix or the interface between epoxy and glass fiber and it leads to saline water resistance of composites.

플라즈마 연질화에 따른 마이크로 구동부품의 기계적 특성과 내식성에 관한 연구

  • 세계전자제품의 부품산업은 21세기 정보화 사회와 함께 IT 산업에서 급성장으로 인해 부품의 소형화, 경량화, 친환경화가 요구되고 있다. IT 산업에서 리드스크류(Leadsrew)는 마이크로 구동부품중의 이송장치를 구성하는 핵심 부품으로 탄소강과 합금강 및 스테인레스강 등이 사용되고 있다. 탄소강은 성형 가공성과 원가 절감에 최적의 소재로서 낮은 표면 경도로 인한 내마모성 저하와 부식 분위기에서의 내식성이 떨어지는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 탄소강(S20C:${\oint}30{\times}h10$)을 이용하여 플라즈마 질화 표면처리를 통해 표면경도와 내마모성 향상 및 내식성을 높이는 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 방법으로 플라즈마 연질화 공정과 Post Oxidation 공정을 개발하였고, 질화 처리된 시험편에 대해 마이크로 비커스 경도, OEM&SEM, XRD 분석 및 염수분무(KS D 9502) 시험으로 특성을 분석하였다. 연구 결과로 탄소강(S20C)은 마이크로 비커스 경도 분석으로 표면 경도가 600Hv0.025 이상과 염수분무 시험으로 내식성은 24시간 이상의 결과를 얻었다.

  • AZ91D 마그네슘합금상에 MAO방법을 통한 산화막 성장에 관해 연구하였다. 주요 처리조성물은 NaOH, $Na_3\;C_6H_5O_7$, $Na_4\;P_2\;O_7$이며, 양극에 Mg 샘플을, 음극에 스텐레스 플레이트를 고정하여 설치후 인가전압 50V, 2분간에 걸쳐 Mg 표면에 Micro arc에 의한 산화막이 성장되었다. 산화막 측정 결과 20회 시행후 평균 15.5um 두께를 가졌으며, 막 성장후 표면은 균일하였으며, 밝은 갈색을 띄었다. 염수농도 5%의 염수분무테스트에서는 72시간 경과후에도 5%이내의 우수한 내부식성을 보였다.

강판의 내식성 향상을 위한 환경 친화형 표면처리: 다중코팅에 의한 시너지 효과

  • ZrO용액으로 코팅한 시편들의 염수분무시험에 의한 백청과 적청의 초기 발생시간으로 내식성을 평가한 결과를 토대로 정리해 보면 인산염강판에 ZrO를 단독으로 처리하는 경우에는 ZrO피막에서의 균열로 인하여 처리하지 않은 인산염처리 소재강판의 내식성보다 약간 증대하는 경향을 보였고, ZrO/BTSE를 복합 처리한 시편에서는 ZrO의 균열 틈새를 BTSE로 채워짐으로서 내식성이 개선되었으며 수지를 부가적으로 처리함으로 내식성이 월등히 향상되는 것으로 나타났다.
