Fast Index Construction in Distortion-Free Time-Series Subsequence Matching (왜곡 제거 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭에서 빠른 인덱스 구성법)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 단일 인덱스 기반의 왜곡 제거 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭의 인덱스 구성 알고리즘을 분석하여 보다 효율적인 인덱스 구성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 기존 왜곡 제거 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭의 단일 인덱스 구성 알고리즘은 대용량 시계열 데이터인 경우 왜곡 제거를 고려해야 되는 많은 윈도우로 인해 실제 인덱스 생성에 매우 많은 시간이 걸린다. 본 논문에서는 기존 선형 제거 서브시퀀스 매칭의 인덱스 구성 알고리즘을 예로서 인덱스를 구성하는 각 과정을 체계적으로 분석하여, 각 과정에서 필요한 연산 횟수를 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 저차원 변환하는 과정에서 발생하는 중복되는 연산들을 한 번씩 미리 수행하여 배열에 저장한 후 재사용하는 DF-버컷(DF-bucket)씨의 개념을 제시한다. 실험 결과, 저장 후 재사용 원칙에 따라 인덱스 구성의 효율성을 증대시킨 접근법이 그렇지 않은 접근법에 비해서 인덱스 구성 시간을 평균 32% 에서 55% 까지 줄인 것으로 나타났다.

Evaluation of Hybrid Thermal Oxidation(HTO) System for Removal of MEK(Methyl ethyl ketone) and Toluene (복합열산화(Hybrid Thermal Oxidation) 시스템을 이용한 MEK(Methyl ethyl ketone)와 Toluene 제거 평가)

  • In this study, optimization of MEK and Toluene removal was conducted by HTO(Hybrid Thermal Oxidation) system. HTO system has a multi-bed reaction plate and the plate consisted of wasted heat regeneration part and catalysis part. VOCs removal by HTO system was estimated by changing inlet flow rates with different valve changing times. Under $350^{\circ}C$ of combustion temperature, VOCs was fully converted and the equivalent conversion was 100%. The thermal oxidation efficiency, related to the amount of injected fuel into HTO system and the valve change time, was revealed at the level of 93.0~96.3%. In case of MEK removal by HTO system, the efficiency was ranged from 91.1 to 97.1%. Also, Toluene removal efficiency(93.2~97.4%) was good and stable with respect to the operating conditions. Considering above results, it was proved that HTO system could be a stable and compact system for VOCs, especially MEK and Toluene with high removal efficiency.

An Index-Building Method for Boundary Matching that Supports Arbitrary Partial Denoising (임의의 부분 노이즈제거를 지원하는 윤곽선 매칭의 색인 구축 방법)

  • Converting boundary images to time-series makes it feasible to perform boundary matching even on a very large image database, which is very important for interactive and fast matching. In recent research, there has been an attempt to perform fast matching considering partial denoising by converting the boundary image into time series. In this paper, to improve performance, we propose an index-building method considering all possible arbitrary denoising parameters for removing arbitrary partial noises. This is a challenging problem since the partial denoising boundary matching must be considered for all possible denoising parameters. We propose an efficient single index-building algorithm by constructing a minimum bounding rectangle(MBR) according to all possible denoising parameters. The results of extensive experiments conducted show that our index-based matching method improves the search performance up to 46.6 ~ 4023.6 times.

  • A two inverted U-tubes condenser was constructed from transparent materials to study the heat removal capability of steam generators under filmwise reflux condensation mode. Essentially, two sets of experiments were performed: (1) the first dealt with the reflux condensation length, and (2) the second dealt with the flooding points with and without the presence of a noncondensible gas in the steam flow, and the effect of the flooding time. In addition, experimental results are compared with the predictions of analytical models.

일체형원자로 모듈형 증기발생기 자연대류 현상 파악 연구

  • 중소형 일체형 원자로의 자연대류 실험 및 해석을 통해 일체형 원자로의 자연대류에 의한 잔열제거 기능의 특성 및 피동 안전성을 파악하였다. 이를 위해 일체형 원자로 축소 실험장치를 이용한 자연대류 실증 실험을 수행하였으며, 실험 결과를 RETRAN-03와 COMMIX-1B 코드 해석 결과와 비교, 검증하였다. 실험 결과 일부 증기발생기의 열제거 기능 상실이 발생한 경우에도 노심으로 유입되는 냉각재의 온도가 균일하게 분포하여 피동 잔열 제거가 원만히 일어남을 알 수 있었고 해석 결과와 일치하였다.

Optimization Strategies for Amine Regeneration Process with Heat-Stable Salt Removal Unit (열 안정성 염 제거장치를 고려한 아민 재생 공정 최적화 전략)

  • In this study, we simulated an amine regeneration process with heat-stable salts removal unit. We derived the optimal operating conditions considering the flow rate of waste, the removal rate of heat-stable salts, and the loss rate of MDEA (methyl diethanolamine). In the amine regeneration process that absorbs and removes acid gas, heat-stable salt impairs the absorption efficiency of process equipment and amine solution. An ion exchange resin method is to remove heat-stable salts through neutralization by using a strong base solution such as NaOH. The acid gas removal process was established using the Radfrac model, and the equilibrium constant of the reaction was calculated using Gibbs free energy. The removed amine solution is separated and flows to the heat-stable salts remover which is modeled by using the Rstoic model with neutralization reaction. Actual operation data and simulation results were compared and verified, and also a case study was conducted by adjusting the inflow mass of removal unit followed by suggesting optimal conditions.

A Study on Treatment Conditions of Oil Contaminated Soil by Low Temperature Thermal Desorption (저온 열 탈착에 의한 유류 오염토의 처리 조건의 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to remove BTEX(Benzene, Toluene, Ethylene, Xylene) and TPH(Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon) effectively by using method low thermal desorption. The thermal desorption is frequently selected because it can treat various contaminants effectively. The temperature and heating time are determined by TGA(Thermogravimetric analysis) curve. The experiment result from this research, removal rate of BTEX was up to 100% within 5 minutes and removal rates of TPH were more than 65% at $300^{\circ}C$ and 70% at $500^{\circ}C$ respectively. It was observed that there was a little change of removal rates of TPH.

The effect of a titanium socket with a zirconia abutment on screw loosening after thermocycling in an internally connected implant: a preliminary study (내부연결 임플란트용 타이타늄 소켓을 이용한 지르코니아 지대주에서 열순환이 나사풀림에 미치는 영향: 예비연구)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of a titanium component for the zirconia abutment in the internal connection implant system on screw loosening under thermocycling conditions. Materials and Methods: Internal connection titanium abutments and external connection zirconia abutments with titanium sockets were connected respectively to screw-shaped internal connection type titanium implants with 30 Ncm tightening. These implant-screw-abutment assemblies were divided into two groups of five specimens each; titanium abutments as control and zirconia abutments with titanium sockets as experimental group. The specimens were subjected to 2,000 thermocycles in water baths at $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$, with 60 seconds of immersion at each temperature. The removal torque values (RTVs) of the abutment screws of the specimen were measured before and after thermocycling. RTVs pre- and post-thermocycling were investigated in statistics. Results: There was not screw loosening identified by tactile and visual inspection in any of the specimens during or after thermocycling. The mean RTV difference for the control group and the experimental group were $-1.34{\pm}2.53Ncm$ and $-1.26{\pm}2.06Ncm$, respectively. Statistical analysis using an independent t-test revealed that no significant differences were found in the mean RTV difference of the groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Within the limitations of this in vitro study, the titanium socket for the zirconia abutment did not show a significant effect on screw loosening under thermal stress compared to the titanium abutment in the internal connection implant.

Numerical Study of the Heat Removal Performance for a Passive Containment Cooling System using MARS-KS with a New Empirical Correlation of Steam Condensation (새로운 응축열전달계수 상관식이 적용된 MARS-KS를 활용한 원자로건물 피동냉각계통 열제거 성능의 수치적 연구)

  • The passive containment cooling system (PCCS) has been designed to remove the released decay heat during the accident by means of the condensation heat transfer phenomenon to guarantee the safety of the nuclear power plant. The heat removal performance of the PCCS is mainly governed by the condensation heat transfer of the steam-air mixture. In this study, the heat removal performance of the PCCS was evaluated by using the MARS-KS code with a new empirical correlation for steam condensation in the presence of a noncondensable gas. A new empirical correlation implemented into the MARS-KS code was developed as a function of parameters that affect the condensation heat transfer coefficient, such as the pressure, the wall subcooling, the noncondensable gas mass fraction and the aspect ratio of the condenser tube. The empirical correlation was applied to the MARS-KS code to replace the default Colburn-Hougen model. The various thermal-hydraulic parameters during the operation of the PCCS follonwing a large-break loss-of-coolant-accident were analyzed. The transient pressure behavior inside the containment from the MARS-KS with the empirical correlation was compared with calculated with the Colburn-Hougen model.

  • 최근 적외선 열 영상의 유용함이 발표되어감에 따라 이 기술에 대한 이해와 도입폭이 점진적으로 넓혀져 가고 있다. 국내는 물론 세계적으로 많은 제조, 개발 관련 업체들이 생겨나고 있으며, 업체들의 기술이 발전함에 따라 높은 온도 분해능과 해상도는 물론, 시스템 전체의 크기가 휴대가 가능할 정도로 소형화 되어가고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 열 영상 카메라에서 중요한 역할을 하는 적외선 열 감지 센서에서는 주변 온도, 대상 온도, 표면 온도 등의 측정 오차 및 열상 측정 소자의 온도, Bias 불안정 등의 매우 다양한 원인으로 인한 잡음이 발생하기 쉽다. 이러한 다양한 잡음의 감소는 해상도 및 온도 분해능의 향상과 직결되므로, 잡음을 줄이기 위한 많은 연구가 도처에서 행해지고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 노력의 일환으로써 각각의 잡음 원인을 규명하지 않고 최종 열 영상 출력물에서 인접 프레임들의 비교, 혼합 하여 제거하는 3D Noise Reduction 기술을 이용해 노이즈를 감쇠하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다.
