Synthesis and Characterization of Poly(ferrocenylsilane) via Ring-Opening Polymerization(ROP) (고분자 고리 열림 반응을 이용한 Poly(ferrocenylsilane) 의 합성과 특성)

  • In recent years, organometallic polymer containing silane and silole unit has been a topic of interest because of the wide range of optical, electrical and luminescent properties. In previous work, we synthesized functionalsilanebridged[1]ferrocenophane from the reaction of dimethyldichlorosilane[Me2SiCl2] and diphenyldichlorosilane[Ph2SiCl2] and dichloromethylvinylsilane[C3H6SiCl2] with ferrocene$[Fe({\eta}-C5H4)2]$ and n-BuLi. In this work, we have synthesized Poly(ferrocenylsilane) via the Thermal Ring-Opening Polymerization(ROP). characteristics of the poly(ferrocenylsilane) were investigated by gel permeation chromatography(GPC), 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy.

Design of δ5 Clip Gage for CTOD Measurement (CTOD 측정용 δ5 Clip Gage 설계)

  • The flaw assessment method based on ${delta}_5$ parameter was recently proposed and put to the practical use. However: since it is almost impossible to measure the ${delta}_5$ by the existing commercial clip gager, we need to develope the specially designed gages which are suitable for that purpose. In this research, a double cantilever type ${delta}_5$ clip gage with the traveling distance of 4mm was developed by the finite element analysis and the construction of Wheatstone bridge circuit including strain gages. The linearity of developed ${delta}_5$ clip gage was evaluated by the MTS extensometer calibrator with the proper adapters which allow the 6s clip gage to sit on the calibrator. Consequently, the 6s clip gage revealed the good linearity between the output voltage and the traveling distance of gage.

  • The objective of the study is to analyze expressions of modern fashion in relation to design principle of a science theory, fractal geometry, in order to identify various and multi-layered expressions of fashion. As for methodology, the study interprets principle and characteristics of fractal geometry based on literature review in areas of linguistic, philosophy, sociology and science. The research identifies expressive characteristics of fractal through empirical studies, and applies them to fashion in order to analyze how fractal design principles are reflected in modern fashion in terms of form and significance. Fractal aesthetics pursue order, balance, diversity and openness among disorder and insecurity. They are closely related to the function of modern fashion that works as a multi-layered code, instead of being confined to conventional idea about fashion that "functions" as "wear."

  • This paper presents the model for evaluating restraint effect of pressure induced bending (PIB) on the circumferential through-wall crack opening displacement (COD), which considers plastic behavior of crack. This study performed three-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element (FE) analyses for different crack angle, restraint length, pipe geometry, stress level, and material conditions, and evaluated the influence of each parameter on the PIB restraint effect on COD. Based on these evaluations and additional perfectly-plastic FE analyses, a closed-form model to evaluate the restraint effect of PIB on the plastic crack opening of circumferential through-wall crack, was proposed as functions of crack angle, restraint length, radius to thickness ratio, axial stress corresponding to an internal pressure, and normalized COD evaluated from linear-elastic crack opening condition.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동결함검출 방법으로 돌출 함몰, 점 등과 같은 작은 결항들을 검출하기 위해 모폴로지의 닫힘, 열림 방법을 이용하는 템플레이트 검사 방법을 사용하였고, 얼룩, 스크래치와 같은 큰 결함을 검출하기 위해 영상에서 격자와 같은 일정한 블록을 형성하여 각 블록을 비교하여 결함을 찾는 블록매칭 방법을 사용하였다. 또한 이 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 결함 검출에 좋은 성능이 있음을 보여준다. 제안된 알고리즘은 자체 개발한 장비에서 실제 BLU의 영상을 얻어 테스트를 하였다.

  • This study is concerned with an application of the boundary element method on the crack problem. The stable and efficient analysis method of two dimensional elastostatic stress intensity factor on the mode I deformations is established from the result o stress analysis for the center cracked plates. In order to precisely analyse, The subelements of quadratic element, singular elements on the crack tip and interface and division into regions are applied to elastic stress. The usefulness of the method has been tested with a center cracked plates, a double edge cracked plate and a single edge cracked plate, and the results have turned out to be fairly satisfactory.

Interaction of Blood Flow and Leaflet Behavior in a Bileaflet Mechanical Heart Valve (기계식 인공심장판막(MHV)에서의 혈액유동과 판막운동의 상호작용)

  • 기계식 인공심장판막을 통한 혈액의 유동과 이 유동에 관련된 판첨의 거동특성을 수치해석기법을 이용하여 연구하였다. 혈액은 맥동류, 층류, 비압축성 유동으로 가정하였으며 유체-고체의 상호작용을 고려하기 위하여 혈액의 유동방정식과 고체의 운동방정식이 동시에 계산되었다. 심실과 대동맥에서의 압력파형을 경계조건으로 사용하였다. 연구의 결과로서 혈액유동과 판첨의 거동이 예측되었으며, 판막을 통한 3개의 제트가 발견되었으며 vortex가 판첨의 끝단에서 발생하여 하부로 흘러가는 것이 관찰되었다. 판첨의 닫힘 거동은 열림 거동에 비하여 2배정도 빠르게 진행되었으며 sinus에서 2개의 큰 vortex가 관찰되었다. 유체-고체 상호작용을 고려하는 본 연구방법은 향후 판막의 연구와 개발에 매우 유용할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 기존 사용되고 있는 디지털 도어락은 사용자의 편의에 중점을 두어 보안 측면에서는 매우 취약한 단점이 있다. 이에 본 논문은 카메라와 센서, 통신 모듈이 결합된 디지털 도어락과 중계기, 서버를 시스템화하여 도어락 설치장소 전방에서 접근하는 객체를 감지 및 인식하고 이미지와 문 열림 정보를 사용자의 스마트 디바이스로 전송해 주는 영상 디지털 도어락 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 시스템은 실험 결과 대상거리 내에서 96~98%의 접근자 인식률과 사용 통신망에 따라 평균 약 17.1~23.9초의 전송시간이 소요되었다. 따라서 도어락 시스템 전방의 상황을 모니터링하여 실시간 보안 대응이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The spray characteristics of coaxial swirl injector under ambient high pressure conditions were investigated in this paper. Three injectors were used to study the effect of recess length and fuel injector type(open or closed). In this research, experimental conditions(ambient gas density) were calculated by Buckingham Pi-theory and spray characteristics of the injectors were represented by mass flow rate according to the injection pressure, the spray angle, mass distribution, and mean diameter of droplet.

Evaluation of Fracture Toughness of Copper Thin Films by Combining Numerical Analyses and Experimental Tests (해석과 실험을 결합한 구리 박막의 파괴인성 평가)

  • In this paper, a method of combining numerical analyses and experimental tests is used to evaluate fracture toughness of copper thin films of $15{\mu}m$ thickness. Far-field loadings of a global-local finite element model are inversely estimated by matching crack opening profiles in experiments with numerical results. The fracture toughness is then evaluated using the J-integral for cracks in thin films under far-field loadings. In experiments, Cu thin films attached to Aluminum sheets are loaded indirectly, and crack opening profiles are observed by microscope camera. Stress versus strain curves of Cu thin films are obtained through micro-tensile tests, and the grain size of Cu thin films is observed by TEM analysis. The results show that the fracture toughness of Cu thin films with $500nm{\sim}1{\mu}m$ sized grains is $6,962J/m^2$.
