Crack Resistance Behavior Using Digital Image Correlation and Crack Tip Opening Angle on Particulate Reinforced Composite (디지털 화상관련법 및 균열선단열림각도를 이용한 입자강화 복합재료의 균열저항거동)

  • In this study, crack resistance is evaluated by the crack tip opening angle (CTOA) using a wedge splitting test (WST) on a viscoelastic particulate reinforced composite based on an HTPB binder. Generally, CTOA, as a function of crack extension, is used in order to determinate fracture resistance and has a steady state relative angle. Digital image correlation (DIC) is used to measure the crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) and crack extension for the critical crack tip opening angle (CTOAc). In these results, the CTOAc value of a particulate reinforced composite tends to approach a constant angle after a small amount of crack extension. The CTOAc value increases with decreasing temperature, from $50^{\circ}C$ to $-40^{\circ}C$. These CTOAc values may be used to measure fracture mechanics parameters for particulate reinforced composite.

  • The relationship between fatigue crack growth behavior and cyclic crack tip opening displacement is studied. An elastic-plastic finite element analysis (FEA) is performed to examine the growth behavior of fatigue crack, where the contact elements are used in the mesh of the crack tip area. We investigate the relationship between the reversed plastic zone size and the changes of the cyclic crack tip opening displacement along the crack growth. We investigate the effect of the element size when predict fatigue crack opening behavior using the cyclic crack tip opening displacement obtained from FEA. The cyclic crack tip opening displacement is related to fatigue crack opening behavior.

  • 본 연구에서는 유효응력확대계수로서 피로크랙 진전수명을 평가할 수 이용되 는 크랙열림비(본 논문에서는 후술하는 최대응력에 대한 크랙 열림응력의 비를 크랙 열림비로 하다)가 진전수명에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위한것으로서, 제1보에서는 실 험에 의하여 크랙 열림점을 실측한 결과 측정입치에 따라 다른 값을 나타내며 수명평 가법 크랙 선단으로부터 떨어진 곳(크립게이지를 이용한 크랙마우스등)에서 측정한 크 랙 열림점 값을 이용함이 보다 정확함을 밝혔다.본 제2보에서는 크랙열림비가 수명 평가에 미치는 영향을 상기의 파라미터 영향도 평가수법을 이용하여 평가하고자 한다.

  • To examine small fatigue crack behavior, the crack opening displacement (COD) was measured for surface cracks in the range of few tens to hundreds .mu.m using the computerized Interferometric Strain/Displacement Gage (ISDG) which could measure the relative displacement with a resolution of 0.02 .mu.m. The load-COD record is stored and analyzed after the test to determined the opening load. Single-edge notched specimens, 2.3mm thick, of Al 2024-T3 were precracked at load ratios of 0.0, -1.0 and -2.0 to make small fatigue cracks. The opening loads were measured these small cracks and compared with those of long cracks. The opening load ratios for the short cracks are about 10% smaller than those for long cracks at positive R-ratios, but are about 100% smaller at negative R-ratios.

  • The rate of loading in motor operated valve(MOV) can be defined as a variation of correlation between the actuator torque and the thrust upon the variation of operating load. This paper contains the analysis of characteristic and the validity of loading rate in the opening stroke of gate type motor operated valve. Also, this paper describes the evaluation result of loading rate for 40 MOVs' opening stroke using newly derived methodology in this study. Author has found a result that loading rate of opening stroke gets a negative value when the differential pressure is higher than 150 psi and this value goes up depending on the amount of the differential pressure.

  • A model ship equipped with the Weis-Fogh type ship's propulsion mechanism, which is consisted of one wing in a squared channel, was constructed. Sailing and vibration tests of the model ship were performed with the opening angles in a pool. The results are summarized as follows. The thrust and the speed of model ship were the highest for the spring-type wing of which the opening angle is automatically controlled in one stroke. Moreover, these values were approximately reduced by 4% from $30^{\circ}$ opening angle to $15^{\circ}$ in order. The maximum amplitude and RMS values of the model ship were the lowest for the wing having the opening angle of $30^{\circ}$, but were the largest for spring-type wing. And in case of the same opening angle, these values were lower for the ship on sailing than that on stationary.

  • The constant .DELTA.K fatigue tests are performed in SS41 and its weldments to investigate crack opening behavior and fatigue crack propagation behavior at each parts of weldment and its boundary layer. The weldments were annealed after welding for the purpose of relieving residual stress. Every weldments has notch at weld metal zone, and fatigue crack propagates from weld metal zone to vase metal zone perpendicular to weld line. The Laser ISDG method is used in order to determine the crack opening ratio, this method is more precise than indirect measurement method, and faster and easier than other direct measurement method.

구조 용강의 연성파괴에서 최대하중 예측

  • 탄소성 재료의 파괴에서 최대하중을 계산할 수 있는 방법이 제시되었다. 사용된 재 료상수는 파괴개시인성, 항복강도, 진행된 균열선단에서 열림 변위 증분에 대한 균열성장의 비이고, 계산을 실험결과에 맞추어 재료상수를 결정한다. 이들 상수로 다른 시편의 최대하 중을 계산하는 간단한 방법을 평면변형하의 A572 강(상온)과 4533(B)강(-10C)에 적용하여 기존의 실험결과와 비교하였다. 또한 균열 선단 열림 변위와 J-적분값에 기초한 다른 방법 과 비교·논의되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Grafcet을 이용하여 고속 철도의 외부 승강문 운영 데이터 처리 사양으로부터 승강문 운영 상세 사양을 구성하는데 목적을 둔다. 이에 따라 승강문 열림/닫힘, 승강문 열림 및 승강문 닫힘 관련 Grafcet을 구성한 후, 천이와 스텝의 관점에 따라 연관된 액션과 천이 조건 등을 분류하여 주어진 Grafcet의 특성 및 순차 제어 논리 분석을 실행한다.
