  • 1. Stage crushing by jaw crusher, steel mortar, and ball mill in turn has shown an inclination to increase the distribution of andalusite in coarse particles as well as to increase that of micas in fine particles. 2. Water elutriation was effective for the removal of muscovite and magnetic separation was effective for that of Mg-Fe micas such as biotte and chlorite.   • 국가기준점인 삼각점은 통일원점, 구소삼각원점, 특별소삼각원점으로 구분 설치하였으며, 이들은 설치기관, 시기, 방법, 측량단위와 원점 등이 모두 달라 측량성과가 같지 않으며 제각각 다른 자료체계로 등록되어 있다. 또한 삼각점들의 유지ㆍ관리 소홀로 실용성과에 한계를 드러내고 있으며, 최근 정밀1차기준점측량 성과를 고시하였으나 토지조사사업 당시의 성과와 많은 차이가 있어 지적측량의 활용에 많은 문제를 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 파악하고 개선하고자 경기도 연천군 관내 삼각점과 지적삼각점에 대하여 GPS 관측을 실시하고 현행좌표로 변환하여 등록 자료와 비교 분석하고 이에 대한 문제점과 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • Wetlandsis developing on the lava plateau in Eundae-ri, even though there are no majorstreams into this area. As a result of drilling, 1~2m clay layer is founded under the superficial formations of the wetland, which are the main reasons for formation of the wetlands by limiting vertical drainage. The clay layer's Granulometry/XRD show very different characteristics from in situ weathering of basalt, and since 2~3cm of sand layer exist within the profile, the clay layer seems to be supplied and deposited from outside through surface/sheet flows. To keep the wetlands sustainably, the supply of water into the wetlands has to be increased by restoring the surface/sheet flow which is limited or deformed by pavement road.

  • In recent years, the drying of the water spider habitat has been progressing rapidly. This is the primary cause of extreme climatic events in 2014/2015 with overall reduction in annual precipitation, but impermeable clayey layer formed in the superficial formation also plays an important role. The clayey layer is a critical factor in the formation of wetlands on a well-drained lava plateau, but paradoxically, it restricts the connection with ground water, increasing the instability of the water balance and making it precipitation-dependent structure. In addition, construction of roads/drainways has also caused drying of wetlands by blocking or rapidly spilling surface water/sheet flow. Therefore, to keep the wetlands sustainable, it should increase the flow into the wetlands by removing the road/drainways and floodgates installed to reduce the outflow.

  • Archidium ohioense Schimp. ex Müll. Hal.는 국내 자생 정보가 부족했던 종으로 본 연구를 통해 경기도 연천군 전곡읍 간파리 감악산에서 신분포지를 확인하였다. A. ohioense가 속하는 Archidium Brid. (Archidiaceae)는 극지방을 제외한 아열대지역에서 온대지역까지 분포하며, 총 36종이 생육하는 것으로 알려져 있고, 최근 anti-inflammatory와 antisickling potentials에 관한 효능 연구가 수행되고 있다. A. ohioense의 잎은 난상피침형~삼각상피침형으로 잎가장자리는 밋밋하나 잎끝에 미세한 치돌기가 있다. 잎맥은 굵고 1개이며 잎끝까지 또는 짧게 돌출되어 있다. 중앙세포는 마름모형, 긴 선형의 마름모형이고, 익부세포는 마름모형에서 직사각형이다. 추후 분자생물학적인 연구 및 생태학적인 연구가 추가된다면 안정적인 자원화에 기여할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

  • Archidium Brid. (Archidiaceae), comprising a total of 35 species, is known to be widely distributed from subtropical to temperate regions, excluding the polar areas. The distribution of Archidium ohioense Schimp ex Müll. Hal. in Korea has been unclear. This study reports the collection of Archidium ohioense from Mt. Gamak, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This species is distinguished from similar species by median cell, alar region, capsule. We provide detailed description, illustrations, photographs, and a key to related species.

Comparison of Growth Characteristics, Forage Productivity and Quality between Italian Ryegrass and Synthetics Derived from Interspecific and Intergeneric Hybrids and Ecotypes (이탈리안 라이그라스와 종.속간 잡종 및 생태형 유래 합성종간의 생육특성, 수량성 및 사료가치 비교)

  • Forage breeding laboratory of National Livestock Research Institute, R.D.A. has made interspecific hybrids of Lolium multiflorum $\times$ L. pratensis and intergeneric hybrids of Lolium $\times$ Festuca since 1984, and has collected ecotypes of Italian ryegrass since 1991. Growth characteristics of these hybrids and ecotypes were researched, and then these clone lines were named. Among these clone lines, the several clones that have polen fertility, high cold-tolerance, and similar heading time were used for making synthetics, Naehan 6, 7, 8, 9, with polycrossing method in 1997. Field experiments were carried out to compare the mophological and agronomical characteristics and forage productivity and quality of the synthetics with those of Italian ryegrass varieties, Barmultra and Hwasan 101. in Suwon and Yonchun from 1999 to 2000. Heading time of the synthetics were 22th to 24th May that belong to late-mature types to be similar to that of Barmultra and Hwasan 101 in Suwon. The synthetics were 101 to 106 c3n in plant length, medium or thick in thickness of stem, dark peen in leaf color, broad and long in flag leaf, strong in lodging resistance, and excellent in regrowth. Winter survivals of the synthetics were no different from that of Barmultra or Hwasan 101 in Suwon, but better than that of Barmultra or Hwasan 101 in Yonchun where was -10 to -12$^{\circ}C$ of minimum average air temperature in January or February. Dry matter(DM) yields of the synthetics were similar to DM 8,238kg per ha of Barmultra in Suwon, but in Yonchun, were more 7 to 13% than DM 7,291kg per ha of Barmultra. Forage qualities, IVDMD, ADF, NDF and TDN of the synthetics were lower than those of Hwasan 101, but higher than those of Barmultra.

  • Yeoncheon Hong Seok-joo(淵泉 洪奭周: 1774-1842) faithfully followed a policy of restoration of literary style of king Jeongjo. He was an young vassal after 1794 and influenced by Jeongjo because Yeoncheon was around the king. Furthermore, he had comparatively favorable working period as a vassal(仕宦期, 1795-1836) after death of Jeongjo(1800) while establishing his own academic viewpoint. Therefore, a study about art theory of Yeoncheon Hong Seok-joo is one about logical system to accept various desires for change of then while not getting rid of scope of Neo-Confucianism after Jeongjo. It is catched that exchange of Hong Seok-joo and Jeong Yak-yong was made relating to study of Sangseo. Hong Seok-joo and Jeong Yak-yong absorbed in study of Sangseo, which is come from putting importance on 6 scriptures (經) among studies of scriptures by both of them. Through this, they aimed to re-discover ideology of original Confucian studies as one for cultivating oneself and governing people (修己治人之學). Dasan and Yeoncheon have something in common that they were young vassals who were cultivated as a guarding power for Jeongjo centered on Gyujanggak. They were largely fit to view of literature(文體觀) of Jeongjo. Hong Seok-joo distinguished function of prose(文) and poetry(詩) into teaching moral(明敎) and moving people(感人) in the category of Mun-yi-jae-do(文以載道) based on thoughts of 'literature is linguistic device for Taoism '(道本文末)' which is a core concept of literature theory based on Neo-Confucianism. He gave a careful attention on instructional and social function in prose while on emotional understanding that puts importance on temper and the secrets of nature in poetry. Hong Seok-joo regarded moral impression and edification through this as a core of artistic creation based on Segyoseol(世敎說). Furthermore, expressions such as 'Heunggwangunwon(興觀群怨)' or 'Yeohangguyo(閭巷謳謠) which are mentioned as important elements in his artistic works put importance on actual existence of objective things in artistic activity and this is connected to an attitude to require description fit to fact. So, it is assumed that such expression style aimed for features of genre painting in painting arts. Understanding of the study of ancient documents by Yeoncheon developed from critical perspective. He criticized the study of ancient documents, saying it as first, Pasoijisul(破碎之術), second, Dotaekjisul(塗澤之術), third, Hoimojisul(毁侮之術). Jeong Yak-yong criticized ' theory on the Odes' from viewpoint of theory of Mun-yi-jae-do(文以載道) based on Neo-Confucianism. He stressed political and social function of Sipeon and general poetry in "the Odes" and reinterprets discourses about poetry of Zhu Xi based on his own opinion. He says that poems of national fashion do political and social criticism. The theory of national fashion by Jeong Yak-yong clearly discloses his thoughts that stress practical role of noblemen in the social and political context.

New Variety 'Johyun' of Coix lacryma-jobi var. mayuen Stapf with Early Maturity and Short Plant Height (율무 조숙 단간 다수성 신품종 '조현')

  • ‘Johyun’ was a new adlay variety which was developed from three way crosses of (Suwon-6xOkayama)x UCN300-25 at the Northern Agricultural Research Station, Gyeonggi Province ARES. This variety had purple sheath and green leaf blade in primitive growth stage and green leaf and culm in heading stage. Colors of pistil and seed coat were milky-white and dark-brown, respectively. Plant height of Johyun was 179 cm and shortened 22 cm less than Yulmoo-1 which was tested by check variety. Johyun shortened 8 days of heading date and 15 days of ripening date compared with Yulmoo-1. Yield of Johyun was 320 kg/10a of hulled grains in three regional yield trials and 18% higher than Yulmoo-1. This variety was adaptable to single cropping in central and northern region of Korea.

New Variety 'Sanggang' of Coix lachryma-jobi L. with Early Maturity and Resistance to Leaf Blight (율무 조숙 내병 다수성 신품종 '상강')

  • 'Sanggang' was a new adlay cultivar which was developed from the three way crosses of $(Hukuhane\;{\times}\;Suwon-6)\;{\times}$ Suwon-6 at the Northern Agricultural Research Station, Gyunggido ARES. This cultivar had green sheaf, dark-green leaf, green culm, milky white silk and darkbrown seedcoat. Sanggang shortened 10 days of heading date and 12 days of ripening time compared with Yulmoo 1. In the yield's conponent of Sanggang, the number of grains was by 56 grains less but ripening rate and 1,000 grain weight were higher by 6.5% and 20.1 g compared with Yulmoo 1, respectively. This cultivar showed moderate resistance to leaf blight. The yield of Sanggang was about 313 kg/10a of unpolished grain at ordinary cultivation. This cutivar showed about 17% and 27% higher yield in Yonchon Gyeonggi province and Cheongju Chungbuk province compared with the check variety respectively. This cultivar was adaptable to mono cropping in central and northern region of Korea.
