Vessel Traffic Safety Assessment for the Construction of the Mokpo Bridge (목포 연육교 건설에 따른 선박 통항 안전성 평가)

  • A bridge which connects Mokpo North Harbor and Goha Island is going to be constructed until 2009. For the bridges being built in the navigable water area, it is indispensible to carry out vessel traffic safety assessment from the viewpoint of shiphandlers, however, there exist no specific guidelines for the necessary conditions which the bridge designers can rely on. In this paper, traffic safety assessment procedures for the layout of the bridge are briefly introduced, and the conditions which should be taken into account at the initial design stage of the bridge are surveyed For the safety assessment of the bridge design, ship navigation simulations, such as RTS( real time simulation) and FTS(fast time simulation), are carried out, the results of which are statistically analysed to estimate the probability of collision between the ship and the pier of the bridge.

  • 점증하는 항공교통량의 원활한 수용과 안전한 항공기술 저변확대를 위하여 ICAO는 성능기반의 항공교통관리(ATM) 체계와 시스템을 Upgrade할 구체적 이행계획인 ASBU를 개정하고 체약국들의 수용을 촉구하고 있고, 우리나라는 ICAO의 5연임 이사국으로서 ASBU의 주요 Module에 대응하는 모든 Working Paper에 대하여 적극 수용한다는 입장이다. 본 논문은 ASBU의 PIA 4에 해당하는 CDO 및 관련 Module인 TBO의 개념을 살펴보고, 선도적으로 운용되고 있는 사례를 분석해 봄으로써 미래에 대응하는 방안을 찾고자 하였다. CDO는 새로운 장비와 시스템을 갖추지 않더라도 절차의 보완으로 개선할 수 있는 부문에 속하므로 우리나라의 운영 현황을 리뷰하고 그 영향에 대하여 정리해 보았다. 다만, 항공기 고도 강하 단계에서의 개선효과가 상승 또는 순항 단계에 비하여 효율성이 상대적으로 미미한 편이고, ATM 구분 상 기상 등의 외부 변수에 취약하여 효율성 연구에 접근하기 어려운 면이 있으나, 고밀도 공항의 특화된 CDO 기법 개발을 통하여 연료절감 및 탄소배출량 저감, 소음감소의 성과를 이룬 선진 사례를 들어 국내에 적용할 수 있는 방안에 대하여 장기적으로 연구하고자 한다.

A Study on Airline Love Mark and Relation Continuing Intention (항공사 러브마크와 관계지속의도에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, The purpose is to understand the influence of lovemark on relation continuing intention. As a result of reliability analysis, the Cronbach's α coefficient of all variables such as lovemark, relation continuing intention showed 0.8 or more, thus ensuring reliability. The results of regression analysis between variables for hypothesis testing are as follows. as a result of analysis on the effect of lovemark on the relation continuing intention, it showed that both factors of love and respect dimension had significant influences, and that the relationship intension also increased as the love and respect dimension increased. As a result of this study, In order to increase lovemark and relationship intension, it was also confirmed that efforts should be focused on immersion between airlines and customers. It was confirmed that efforts to increase the airline's lovemark are needed to retain existing customers and attract new customers.

  • Recently, A study is actively underway to apply to various industries, which are one of the major changes in the key drivers of the industry 4.0.. The data generated by the ship include various indicators such as the fuel volume, engine power, ground speed, speed, speed, main engine rpm, DFOC, SFOC, and FOC. This paper analyzes the sensitivity of the Gathering data and analyzes the impact energy efficiency of the vessel operation by analyzing the influence among each parameter, using the mathematical models, you create an surrogate model using the math model, comparative analysis of actual measurement data and predictive results were analyzed. Through the use of big data analysis technology, it is possible to identify the sensitivity between the energy efficiency related variables of the ship, The possibility of utilization of fuel efficiency indicators using of the surrogate model is identified.

An Economic Ship Routing System Based on a Minimal Dynamic-cost Path Search Algorithm (최소동적비용 경로탐색 알고리즘 기반 선박경제운항시스템)

  • An economic ship routing means to sail a ship with a goal of minimizing the fuel consumption by utilizing weather forecast information, and various such systems have been recently studied. For a successful economic ship routing system, an efficient algorithm is needed to search an optimal geographical path, and most of the previous systems were approaching to that problem through a minimal static-cost path search algorithm based on the Dijkstra algorithm. To apply that kind of search algorithm, the cost of every edge assigned with the estimated fuel consumption should be constant. However, that assumption is not practical at all considering that the actual fuel consumption is determined by the weather condition when the ship will pass the edge. To overcome such a limitation, we propose a new optimal ship routing system based on a minimal dynamic-cost path search algorithm by properly modifying the Dijkstra algorithm. In addition, we propose a method which efficiently reduces the search space by using the $A^*$ algorithm to decrease the running time. We compared our system with the shortest path-based sailing method over ten testing routes and observed that the former reduced the estimated fuel consumption than the latter by 2.36% on average and the maximum 4.82% with little difference of estimated time of arrival.

  • It is recognized that safety is a key point of technical competency. Its adoption is widely spread in development of products and it is essentially necessary in aerospace industry because airborne system and equipment are used complex high-technology and implemented systematic performance using software. This study reviews system safety assessment, development assurance level, airborne software, RTCA DO-178 process, and considerations & pitfalls in software development.

  • Aircraft fires due to accident at an airport may be under a special situation. An outstanding characteristic of aircraft fires is their tendency to reach lethal intensity within a very short time. In domestic aviation act, there are regulations related to services coping with the aircraft accidents within an airport. To cope aircraft fires, it is necessary to define clearly the regulations and standards about the services and related activities of rescue and fire fighting, and to keep the regulations and standards. The study has been performed on the basis of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Airport Services Manual of rescue and fire fighting. The objective of study is to suggest improvement methods for standards applicable to actual service practices of rescue and fire fighting by analyzing through the comparison of domestic and international regulations and standards.

A Study of Estimating Maintenance Cost of NAVAID (시계열을 이용한 항행안전시설 유지비용 추정 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 항행안전시설을 구성하는 구성요소를 체계별로 구분하고 체계별 운영시간 에 따른 고장율 등을 분석한다. 아울러 설계수명에 점차 도달한 항행안전시설 운영단계에서 발생한 유지보수비용 데이터를 토대로 남은 설계수명 기간 동안 향후 발생 가능한 유지보수 비용을 추정한다. 이런 분석결과를 통해 장비의 신뢰성 관련 선행연구들에서 주로 인용되고 있는 욕조커브(Bathtub Curve) 이론과 본 연구의 비용예측 결과와의 연관성을 진단하고 안정적인 유지보수를 위한 기초자료로서 활용되고자 한다. ARIMA 예측모형을 토대로 향후 10개월 간 발생가능한 유지보수 비용을 예측한 결과 비용이 상승할 것이라는 통계적으로 신뢰할 만한 추정 결과를 얻었다. ARIMA를 활용한 추정결과는 앞선 MTBF 분석내용을 지지함과 동시에 시설의 정비 신뢰도를 보여주는 욕조커브 분포와 일치하는 신뢰할 수 있는 결론을 얻은 것이다.
