The aim of this study is to analyse a characteristic analysis of coastal passenger vessels' voyage scheduling using the Panel Regression Analysis. The GLS and Fixed Effect Analysis show that the number of canceled flights and passenger transport performance have a positive impact on the voyage scheduling, and that the freight transport performance and freight income vary from model to model. Also, through the LSDV and OLS analysis, the trend of cluster formation by regional office was confirmed. This indicates that there are frequent changes in passenger ship companies and ships, and in-depth plans are needed in various respects rather than the expansion of unconditional ships. Subsequent studies need to generate more detailed and practical results by further analysis of detailed factors, dividing them by route and vessel type.

우리나라 연안에서 육지와 섬 사이를 연결하는 해상교량은 계속해서 건설하고 있는 추세이며 해상교량이 선박의 안전한 운항에 새로운 위험요소로 대두되고 있다. 반면에 내항여객선 선장 및 항해사는 무중 레이더만 믿고 항해하여야 하나, 레이더가 해상교량의 주경간 항로와 해상교량 건너편 상황을 탐지하기 어렵다는 레이더의 한계를 인식하지 못하고, 경험과 관행에 의해 무리하게 선박을 운항하고 있다고 판단된다. 이 글은 목포지방해양안전심판원의 관할해역에서 발생한 여객선 비금농협카페리호가 신안1교의 교각과 접촉한 사건의 개요와 원인을 살펴보고, 레이더에 의해 해상교량의 주경간 항로를 식별할 수 있는 대책마련의 필요성, 선박의 해상교량 통항을 위한 최소 가시거리 인식 필요성, 해상교량 주변에 피항지 지정 및 관리, 내항여객선의 VHF청취능력 개선, VTS센터와 한국해운조합 운항관리실의 업무협력 강화, 연안 여객선의 안전문화 정착 필요성, GPS Plotter 과신 주의 등의 교훈 및 개선사항을 제시하고 있다.

With the modernization fund of the government, construction of new passenger ships make the level of interior design is improved, but the space where the crew is working is still inadequate. This study is to investigate the color environment of the Bridge Deck and Engine Room among working spaces of passenger ships. It aims to improve the mental health of crews and set up a safe working environment by presenting color design, and suggest the specificity of ship's working space and color value with matching the color environment.

인천-제주 정기여객선에 수온, 클로로필 및 탁도계 등의 센서를 설치하여 해양환경 모니터링 시스템을 구축하였으며, 여객선 항로를 따라 2001년부터 2004년까지 18회에 걸쳐 자동관측과 함께 20-30분 간격으로 30여개의 정점에서 해수를 채수하여 분석하였다. 연구의 목적은 채수된 해수를 직접 분석하여 여객선에 설치된 자동측정 센서가 신뢰성 있는 자료를 생산하는지 비교 분석하는 것과 서해 한반도 연안의 해수특성을 전체적으로 이해함으로서 계절적인 변동을 파악하는 것이다. 2001-2003년 초까지 사용된 YSI 센서는 수온, 염분, 탁도와 클로로필 농도 등을 종합적으로 측정할 수 있는 멀티센서이나, 설치하여 운용해 본 결과 정밀도에서 많은 문제점이 발생하였다. 따라서 2004년 이후 클로로필과 탁도 자동 측정을 위한 단일 센서들로 교체되었으며 이들 센서는 멀티센서 보다 좋은 결과를 보였다. 비록 자동측정 장치에 문제는 있었으나, 18회에 걸친 서해 연안의 실시간 모니터링을 통하여 해수환경의 계절별 특성을 이해할 수 있었다. 부유퇴적물의 경우, 경기만과 목포 주변의 남쪽 해안은 농도가 모든 계절에서 높게 나타났으며 특히 가을 겨울철에 가장 높은 값을 나타냈다. 클로로필의 농도도 경기만 중심지역과 남쪽 해안에서 여름과 가을철에 걸쳐 0.4 - 6.0 $mg/m^3$ 정도의 분포를 보였으나 겨울철에는 2.6 $mg/m^3$ 미만으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to implement concept of public to passenger ship route to promote benefits and adopt competition principle among ship companies to elevate business efficiency. As of year 2005, passenger ships operate in 106 routes departing from 10 harbors including Mokpo, Masan, and Inchonto provide transportation system to island residents. Contrast to other public transportation systems excluding some tourism routes, this essential passenger ship are unable to fulfill various customer services to the passengers due to stagnation or declination. In addition, route adjustment and flexible passenger ship operation are not expected due to private property right of the route. Therefore, establishment of public transportation system for remote island route is initiated for the connection between cities and islands, boost travel industry of island economy, and balanced growth oh the nation.

It is difficult to expect the service improvements such as increased number of sailing and making new ship due to financial difficulty this is caused by deterioration of island dwellers. In addition, the safety of ship operation is also a problem with the supply of good sailors difficult problem of low wages and lack of safety working environment. T It is necessary to ensure the introduction of public operating system in coastal passenger shipping business to secure the public and safety. There are many practical constraints but if we obtain public sea ways, it will be possible to improve the operating system through the implementation from a subsidized line and taking off business licenses of an insolvent enterprise by enhancing safety control.

Unlike previous studies on the optimum route of the ship operating on th ocean, this study proposed an optimization method for the route planning of the ship operating on the coast. In general, passenger ships on the coast navigate along the waypoints indicated in the authorized route. Therefore this study propose objective function considering the braking power and time to determine the speed between waypoints, and the optimum speed was determined by applying the proposed method to the actual route of the passenger ship between Mokpo and Jeju.

현재 연안여객선의 여객과 화물의 승선 예매 및 발권시스템은 타 교통수단에 비교하여 매우 부족하며 여객이 느끼는 실질적인 서비스 수준도 상대적으로 미흡하다는 평가를 받고 있다. 해양수산부 등 관련 기관에서는 이를 개선하기 위해 승선권 무인취급시스템 등을 구축하고자 노력하고 있으나 아직 부족한 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 여객 및 화물 정보를 QR-Code 등을 통하여 인식한 후, 선박 자체관리 프로그램 및 Web상에서 연동되는 선박예매/발권시스템을 구축하였다. 시스템의 Database 정보에는 승선객의 프로파일 정보, 중간기착지 방문 정보, 여객의 최초승선지 및 하선 정보, 화물 적양하 기록 등이 포함된다.
