  • 분산 환경에서 네트워크 관리 시스템을 구현하기 위한 연구가 오래 전부터 진행되어 왔다. 기존의 경우 CORBA, Java의 RMI와 네트워크 관리 시스템을 연동하여 게이트웨이를 만들거나 보편적인 인터페이스인 웹 기반의 관리 시스템이 연구되었다. 또 웹 기반의 관리 시스템은 WBEM, JMAPI 등으로 표준화하려는 노력이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 관리 시스템이 가지는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 Jini 기반 SNMP 에이전트의 구조를 제안한다. 본 시스템은 기존 시스템이 폴링 기반이어서 발생하는 자원 낭비를 배제하여 성능 개선이 예상된다.

  • 본 논문은 홈 네트워크 환경에서 스트리밍 데이터를 재생하는 MPEG-1 미디어 재생기를 구현한다. 이것은 실시간 운영체제인 내장형 리눅스 상에서 구현하였으며 실시간 응용 프로그램의 일관성과 호환성을 유지하기 위하여 자바 기반의 JNI 언어를 사용한다. JNI는 C언어와 같은 네이티브 코드와 자바 사이의 연동을 가능하게 하는 인터페이스이다. 이렇게 구현된 홈서버용 MPEG-1 미디어 재생기는 사용자에게 홈 네트워크 환경에서 홈서버에 저장되어 있는 멀티미디어 데이터 재생은 물론이고 외부에서 제공되는 멀티미디어 데이터를 실시간으로 서비스 받을 수 있도록 한다.

  • 음성은 컴퓨터와 인간 사이의 인터페이스로서 지속적인 연구가 되어 왔다. VoiceXML로 구현된 음성 포털 서비스는 사용자의 음성 질의에 따라 정보를 검색하고 청취할 수 있는 기술로서 현재 다양한 컨텐츠로 서비스가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전화나 인터넷 전화 프로그램으로 상가의 위치, 전화 번호, 상가 소개 등의 정보를 음성으로 검색할 수 있는 시스템을 VoiceXML을 이용하여 구현하여 보았다. 웹과 연동할 수 있도록 시스템을 구성하고 다양한 다이얼로그를 표현하기 위해 특히, JSP를 이용하고 각 로직을 자바빈즈 컴포넌트로 구현하였다.

  • The current DGPS technique is many problems that is permission of radio station using RF Wireless Modem, that is influence of geographic obstacle using radio wave, that is frequency interference, that is finiteness of frequency resources. In this paper, we are solved many elements, IM(Interface Module) replaces RF Wireless Modem, we suggest transmission technique of correction message using mobile phone, we researched Interface Module development which is linkage of DGPS receiver and mobile phone. IM can transmit correction message passing RS-232 port and modem communication control. IM of base station is initialized RS-232 port and modem to move station for correction message transmission, IM waited response mode. IM of move station is initialized RS-232 port and modem, IM requests hand shaking to base station, completed connection establishment. Users are worked Differential surveying using receiving correction message between mobile phones.

  • Recently, software industry regarding national defense increases system development of distributed simulation system of M&S based to overcome limit of resource and expense. It is one of key technologies for offering of mutual validation among objects and reuse of objects which are discussed for developing these systems. RTI, implementation of HLA interface specification as software providing these technologies uses Federation Object Model for exchanging information with joined federates in the federation and each federate has a characteristic that is supposed to have identical FOM in the federation. This paper presents a characteristic of Base Object Model, SISO standardization for improving reuse and interoperability of Federation Object Model applied simulation network manager based HLA/RTI and suggests method of designing the structure of simulation network manager through the modularity of Federation Object Model.

  • The forwarding enging, which handles the incoming frames and forwards them to the appropriate outgoing interface, is the crucial factor of the router´s performance. As the MPLS label edge router provides the facility that it is capable of interworking with various kinds of networks, the forwarding engine should have the flexibility processing the corresponding types of frames from such network interfaces. In order to support the flexibility, we implement the forwarding engine for the MPLS LER with ATM interfaces based on the programmable Ethernet packet processor. By exploiting instinct loop-back functionality of Ethernet packet processor, our forwarding engine handles and forwards the frames from/to ATM interfaces. The performance of our forwarding engine is evaluated by experiments on the effect of looping frames back and the number of Ethernet packet processor´s instructions.

  • The techniques and the products which use various video compression codec are come out from army or civil field. In existing high-end PC environment, process of the video compression codec does not become a problem, but in embedded system environments which limited system resources, because the system load due to the high-resolution images compressed by high-density, issues of performance and utilization are highlighted. This paper proposes the DirectShow Filter interfaces which are a hardware method in order to solve the problem existing software algorithms for image compression performance and peripheral interfaces.

  • Recently, the interest in a Mobile Office is increasing dramatically and the Smart Phone App Service begin in earnest to be requested in an area of applying SAP system to PC. This study aims to research the system which can be easily implemented with the configuration and Mobile App which cause difficulties in embodying SAP system-based Apps suitable for a mobile environment. First, by realizing SAP system interface that can operate in mobile devices in the form of GUI, assisting the connecting parts of SAP for the users-friendly set-up, providing the communication method of Client, Application, and SAP Service in the form of web service through TCP/IP, and finally showing cases of implementing the method of delivering the data request and result value of Server and Client in the form of XML suggest more effective and new method, the research suggests a new way of making the linkage of SAP more efficient.

  • The act of writing a unit test is more an act of design than of verification. It is also more an act of documentation than of verification. The act of writing a unit test closes a remarkable number of feedback loops, the least of which is the one pertaining to verification of function. Unit testing is a fundamental practice in Extreme Programming, but most non-trivial code is difficult to test in isolation. Normal unit testing is hard because It is trying to test the code from outside. On the other hand, developing unit tests with Mock Objects leads to stronger tests and to better structure of both domain and test code. In this paper, I first describe how Mock Objects are used for unit testing of federation integration. Then I describe the benefits and costs of Mock Objects when writing unit tests and code. Finally I describe a design of Mock federate for using Mock objects.

The Current Situation of the Digital Interface International Standards and an Analysis of Integration Condition of Ships (선박의 디지털 인터페이스 표준화 현황 및 연동조건 분석)

  • The paradigm that ships are navigated by means of analog navigation devices and caption's experiences is shifted to that ships can be navigated by digital and autonomous navigation systems due to the rapid development of electronics and communication technologies. Hence, all systems deployed in a ship are automated and integrated since corresponding ship systems are not individually operated but integrated and managed under common operating system. In this paper, we overview recent research projects targeted for digitally integrated ships (referred to as digital ships), outline IEC 61162 series, specifying digital interface standards for digital ships, and finally present several issues for further improvement of the IEC 61162 series. In addition, we broadly categorize digital ships into three systems consisting of multiple sub-systems, including a navigation system, a power system, and a automation system in the aspect of operation and function. Corresponding interfacing range and method, as well as interface specification and data types of one system in a digital ship are also described according to sub-systems, respectively.
