Base Practice Importance Analysis by Software Process Assessors' Characteristics (소프트웨어 프로세스 심사원 특성에 따른 기본 프랙티스의 중요도 분석)

  • It is not simple to manage software quality, because software development process and product itself are very complex. Recently ISO/IEC 15504- international standard for software process improvement, capability determination and development - was completed and applied to many local trials, and their results are being reported as registered local trials. The first step of software process assessment is established by examining whether its base practices are performed and which level they are achieved. And as far as assessment responsibility and credibility are concerned, assessment is generally performed by team-based assessors. Therefore assessment team construction and its preference of practice importances have a great effect on the credibility and the objectivity of assessment. In this paper, we analyse a SPICE-based software process assessment trial by comparing base practice importances of assessed processes, which are expressed through a real assessment, with its final rating results. Survey data are collected from assessors and interviewees who were engaged in the SPICE trial that was performed by ISO/IEC 15504, and final data analysis are derived from the factor analysis method. It is convinced that the result of this paper is able to enhance the credibility of software process assessment by provisions of objective and rational criteria and preference information for assessment team construction and base practice importances in future.

  • 본 논문에서는 기업간의 비즈니스 프로세스의 자동화를 목적으로 하는 워크플로우 관리 시스템간의 상호 운영성을 지원하는 레지스트리 기반 기업간 워크플로우 모델링 도구를 설계하고 구현한다. 전자상거래를 대표하는 B2B (Business-to-Business) / B2E (Business-to-Enterprise) 환경에서 Interworkflow 메커니즘의 Cross Organizational 워크플로우 모델의 출현은 기업간 이질적인 환경에서의 조직과 시스템간의 상호운용성과 글로벌 워크플로우 관리를 가능하게 하였다. 이러한 메커니즘은 전자상거래의 발전에 많은 요소를 포함하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Interworkflow 메커니즘의 Cross Organizational 워크플로우 모델의 연구를 통해 발전된 형태의 워크플로우 관리 시스템을 소개하고 또한 새로운 문제점을 제시한다. 또한 Interworkflow의 프로세스와 조직의 정의시 나타나는 문제점을 제시, 분석하고 이를 통해 발전된 형태의 레지스트리 기반 기업간 워크플로우 모델링 도구를 설계, 구현한다 이렇게 제시한 도구들을 통해 기업간 비즈니스 프로세스 자동화를 위한 전자상거래 워크플로우 관리 시스템 모델을 제시한다.

A Study on the Power Process and Sustainable Competitive Advantage (파워 프로세스와 지속가능 경쟁우위에 관한 연구)

  • The strategic management process includes the establishment of competitive strategy, its implementation and the measurement of its performance. The sucess of strategic management largely depends on the integration of strategic management process into a managerial tool. This study is on the integration of strategic management process into a managerial tool based on the power process, so that it contributes to strategic success or sustainable competitive advantage of a £inn In order to do this, I discussed the principles of the power process, its characteristics, and then suggest their applications to the integration of the strategic management process. According to the results, the power process offers a theoretical and managerial tool which integrates the establishment of competitive strategy with managerial concepts, so that it increases the likelihood of strategic success. Furthermore I discussed the position of the power process approach to competitive advantage in a manner that displays similarities and differences with existing approaches such as industry organizational, resource-based and game theory approach.

  • 본 사례는 생명보험업계의 선도기업인 (주)삼성생명이 고객관계관리(CRM)의 시스템을 도입하게 된 배경과 도입과정 그리고 그 성과를 분석한 것이다. 고객관계관리의 중요성을 널리 알고 있으면서도 실질적으로 전략이 설정되고 시스템이 도입되어 실행되는 예는 전 산업계에서 그리 많지 않은 것이 현실이다. 본 사례를 통하여 어떤 전략 하에 CRM 시스템이 도입되고 실행되는가의 프로세스를 분석하여 성공적인 고객관계관리에 학문적인 그리고 실무적인 시사점을 제공한다.

An Empirical Study on Impact of Knowledge Management Success Factors and Activities on Disaster Management Task Performance (재난관리에 있어서 지식경영의 성공요인과 활동이 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study empirically explores the relationship among knowledge management success factors (leadership, organizational culture, information technology, measurement, incentive, knowledge quality), knowledge management activities(knowledge creation and knowledge use), and task performance in disaster management area. Findings suggest that (1) organization culture, information technology, incentive and quality of knowledge are significantly related to knowledge creation activities while leadership, information technology, incentive and quality of knowledge are significantly related to knowledge use activities, (2) higher level of knowledge creation is related to high level of knowledge use, and (3) the level of knowledge use activities seems to be significantly related to task performance in disaster management, while knowledge creation activities are not.

  • 내장형 시스템 개발에 있어서도 복잡해져가는 소프트웨어 구조에 대한 관리 필요성과 개발 프로세스 및 개발된 제품에 대한 신뢰성 요구가 날로 증가되고 있다. 이런 당면 문제를 극복하고자 LG 산전에서는 내장형 시스템 개발에 적합한 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스를 구축 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 인버터 시스템 개발에 구축한 프로세스가 성공적으로 적용되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 CASE 도구를 통한 시스템 개발에 있어서도 내장형 시스템 개발에 가장 중요한 성능 사양인 시간제약조건의 만족 여부도 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 IT 아웃소싱의 효익을 정성적이고 정량적으로 측정 가능하게 해 주고, 성과를 지속적으로 관리하게 해 주는 IT BSC 기반의 성과측정 프레임웍을 제안하고자 함이다. BSC는 전통적인 재무적 성과측정 방법에 고객, 내부 비즈니스 프로세스, 학습과 성장과 같은 무형의 효익 보완해 준다는 측면을 가지고 있어, IT 성과를 측정하는데 적용되어 왔다. 본 연구는 IT BSC를 통해 비즈니스 전략과 연계한 성과를 측정하기 위해 지표의 도출, 측정 데이터의 수집에서, 분석 보고에 이르는 전 과정을 제시하고 있다. 이는 IT 아웃소싱의 성과를 정량적, 정성적으로 측정하는 것을 가능하게 해 주는 방법론의 제시라는 데 의의가 있다.

  • FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) is the key area that determines the competitiveness of procurement and construction in the EPC contracts especially in terms of the added value. Nevertheless, previous researches in FEED have been limited to the process and deliverable of design work or the particular management business function (e.g. System Engineering, collaboration, information etc.). In this context, the purpose of this study is to propose a comprehensive FEED structure and its functions from the project management perspective throughout the whole project life-cycle for thermal power plants. Proposed FEED business procedures are classified into three levels; First level is the classification of FEED business phases, the second level defines major FEED management functions, and the third level is detailed FEED functions. A survey using proposed FEED functions and assessment variable was conducted in order to analyze the current status and the areas for future improvement. It is expected that the proposed structure, functions, and evaluation methodology for FEED management will contribute to effective practice of FEED as well as to improvement of competitive capability for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies.

  • In this paper we would like to provide a help to implementing KMS(Knowledge Management System) in public sector. For this purpose, we set up five contingency environmental factors and three process factors of knowledge management. And then investigates affecting factors effect on the performance of KMS in public sector by empirical study. A field survey of public officers in Korea local government was conducted. Complete data for 333 KMS users was analyzed to determine relationship of the research constructs. The system of evaluation and compensation is the most important factor effects on the process of KM and the performance of KMS. These results provide empirical evidence that supports the necessity of rational motivation systems does lead to effective implementation of KMS in public sector.
