  • This study aims to analyze trends in domestic research concerning career guidance for college students majoring in arts, and to provide implications for future research. To this end, a total of 74 papers including journal articles, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations published from 2006-2016 were analyzed in terms of research period, research topic, research methods, study subjects' gender, years in college, and field of study in the arts. Research topics were analyzed according to six criteria, and results showed that there were 24 studies concerning topics related to adaptation/ behaviors/ experiences, including career-related stress, career maturity, anxiety, preparation and development competences, accounting for 32.5% of the total. In terms of gender, 96% of research included both male and female students, and three were conducted only for female students. In terms of year of study, 49 studies examined students in all years of study considered students in all years, accounting for 66% of the sample. Trends in research methods were characterized by the quantitative method applied in the study. Regarding the field of study in the arts, 54 studies were conducted in the field of dance (ballet, Korean dance, and contemporary dance), accounting for 73% of the total. In addition, topics in the field of dance were evenly covered by these studies. Most studies concerning career guidance in art colleges were difficult to categorize due to the small number of studies conducted in the sample. It is suggested that future research reflects various perspectives, social issues, students' majors, year of study, and gender using various research methods.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine trends and achievements of domestic gamification studies and to suggest further research directions. For this purpose, I collect references in domestic gamification and then analyze them through a systematic literature review. Through search DB, 131 references were collected, the references were analyzed by year, purpose, research type, research methods, and research results. The results showed that the amount of gamification research has increased steadily, and academic discussion in the non-game context has increased sharply since 2015. The results of analysis by research purpose showed that the most research was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy, program, and design of gamification. The results of research type showed solution, evaluation, position paper, and validation study in that order. In terms of research methods, literature research was the most common, followed by quantitative, qualitative and mixed research. In the analysis of 45 papers that reported the research results, it was found that there were 21 articles about psychological effects, 17 articles about behavioral effects, and 7 articles about psychological and behavioral effects. Further research directions are suggested based on the review results.

  • This study aims to propose the future direction of research of the Nuri-Curriculum, a national level curriculum, analyzing the subjects, the research methods, and the contents of Nuri-Curriculum studies, and current research trends. For these purposes, 102 Nuri-Curriculum articles in major child care-related journals from 2012-2015 are reviewed. PASW 18.0 program was used to calculate frequency and percentage rate. The major findings are as follows. First, a considerable amount of research has been carried out despite a relatively short implementation period. Second, many research topics dealt with include curriculum-related material. Third, 74.5 percent of the articles used quantitative methods, and content-analysis was the most widely used method among them. On the contrary, there was relatively less research which used the experimental method applying the curriculum to real practice, observational or qualitative method. Fourth, most of the research contents focus on the direction of making of the curriculum. Therefore, this paper proposes the necessity of supplementary research including its application to real practice as the research approaches on the Nuri-Curriculum performed so far have been limited.

  • This study analyzed the contents of the 225 papers included in Korea Security Science Association during the decade -from 1997 to 2007. This study was classified the study method qualitative. First, characteristic of researchers(distinction of sex, distinction of academic degree, regional distribution, one's position and regional distribution, participants per paper). Second, study trends classified by fields of study(where receiving research expenses support or not, change of study subject). Third, study trends classified by methods of study(study method by year, study method by study subject, statistical analysis by year) were subdivided. Analysis shows that there are some shortcomings on the research of Korea Security Science Association as compared with other fields. However, it shows advanced trends for example participation in different study field, evenly distributed regional study participation, variety trial of analysis method. Then again, the distinction of sex, one's position, too much emphasis on independence research, vulnerability about support of research expenses, emphasis on study fields and study trends wandering from industrial circles are getting deeper In study methods, generalized research form such as document study and phenomenon technical case study is limited so deduction of kernel result is not thoroughgoing enough as well as it shows the trend that limits to duplicate and generalized proposal technic.
