기업규모 및 시장지배력이 연구개발투자 활동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 상장기업들의 기업규모 및 시장지배력이 연구개발투자활동에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 가설검증을 위하여 1997년 3월말 현재 한국증권거래소에 상장된 72개 제조기업을 대상으로 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 실증분석결과 연구개발투자 활동은 기업규모와 관련성이 크며, 기업규모가 일정 크기에 이를 때까지는 연구개발 활동이 증가하지만, 일단 그 선을 넘어서면 기업 규모에 비례해서 증가하지는 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 시장지배력을 나타내는 시장집중률 및 시장점유율과 연구개발 활동간에는 유의한 부(-)의 효과가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 매출액성장률과 연구개발투자 활동간에는 분명한 관계를 확인할 수가 없었으나, 기술기회는 연구개발 활동과 예상대로 정(+)의 관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 성장기회가 높은 산업일수록 연구개발 활동이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 기업의 규모 및 시장지배력이 연구개발투자 활동에 미치는 영향을 우리나라 기업을 중심으로 실증적으로 검증함으로서 기술혁신을 위한 산업조직 및 개별기업의 연구개발 투자를 위한 의사결정과 관련한 시사점을 제공한 점에 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

Rethinking Informal R&D Activities: Its Impact on Technological Innovation (비공식적인 연구개발 활동이 기술혁신에 미치는 영향)

  • To date, the literature has focused on formal R&D activities, such as internal, joint or external R&D, but informal R&D activities, such as job training or design, can also have a positive impact on technological innovation. To address this research gap, this paper examined 1) the influence of informal R&D activities on innovation adoption, and 2) the differences between formal R&D-oriented and informal R&D-oriented firms in process and product innovation. For this, statistical analysis was conducted using the data set from 2012 Korea Innovation Survey. The results suggest that 1) informal R&D activities can influence process innovation, and 2) firms engaging in both informal and formal R&D actively adopt product innovation. Findings suggest that 1) firms should recognize the importance of informal R&D and 2) national R&D policy should reflect the positive role of informal R&D in technological innovation.

서비스 기업의 연구개발 활동에 관한 연구

  • 선진국의 경제구조가 서비스경제로 전환됨에 따라 고부가가치를 낼 수 있는 지식기반 (Knowledge-based) 또는 기술기반 (Technology-based) 서비스의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며 서비스 기업들간의 경쟁도 매우 치열해지고 있다. 서비스 기업들은 보다 차별화 된 고객가치를 창출하고 미래의 핵심역량을 확보하기 위해 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있으나 제조기업과는 달리 대부분의 서비스 기업들에게 연구개발 (Research and Development, R&D)이라는 개념은 매우 생소한 상태이다. 최근 유럽을 중심으로 서비스기업의 연구개발에 관한 논의가 활발히 진행되고 있지만 서비스기업의 특성을 포괄하는 연구개발에 대한 정의를 내리는 수준에 머물고 있다. 최근 우리나라 정부에서도 서비스 연구개발에 관한 정책입안을 위해 연구를 진행하고 있는바, 서비스기업에서의 연구개발에 대한 정의, 조직, 예산, 활동영역, 산출물 및 이에 따른 정책적 지원 등에 관한 학계에서의 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 서비스기업의 연구개발활동을 도출하고 연구개발투자와 기업성과와의 관계를 분석함으로써 효과적인 연구개발 투자규모를 도출하는 것이 목표이다. 이 때 서비스기업의 연구개발활동이라 함은 연구개발 대상, 수행조직, 연구개발의 중요성이 포함된다. 또한 연구개발투자와 1-2년 후의 매출 및 순이익의 변화를 분석한다. 실증분석을 위해 기술기반 서비스를 대표하는 국내 IT서비스 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 다양한 통계분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과 대부분의 서비스 기업 응답자가 연구개발의 중요성을 크게 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기업마다 부서별 또는 중앙 연구개발센터를 중심으로 다양한 연구개발활동을 수행하고 있으며 연구개발투자가 기업성과로 연계되기 위해서는 최고경영자의 관심이 가장 중요한 요인인 것으로 지적되었다. 가장 효과적인 연구개발 투자규모는 매출액 대비 15-19%인 것으로 분석되었는데 이는 벤처기업의 특성을 갖는 중소 IT서비스 기업들의 참여가 많았기 때문일 것으로 해석된다. 본 연구의 결과는 우리나라 서비스기업들이 미래준비를 위한 활동을 전개함에 있어 고려해야 할 주요 요인들을 제시해 줄 것이다.

Circularity of the Program Development Activities: Empirical Investigation in the Social Service Agencies in Korea (사회복지기관에서 프로그램 개발의 순환적인 활동에 대한 실증적 연구: 수용, 개발, 전파를 중심으로)

  • Despite the rapidly increased concern on the circularity of the program development activities in the social service agencies, there are only a few studies about the phenomena. This study is to describe the characteristics of program development in the process of adopting, developing, and disseminating the social programs and to figure out the factors influencing differences in the 3 activities in social service agencies. The researchers constructed an explanative model including each 12-13 independent variables with 3 consecutive dependent variables on the basis of reviewing the related literatures. A multiple regression analysis was applied to predict the features of the program development using 195 questionaries responded from social workers in community service centers. As the result of the descriptive analysis, the two noticeable features are found; (1) the agencies have very actively adopted outside programs, developed appropriate programs for the agency, and disseminated the programs into other agencies in the community. (2) there are some positive aspects of the factors in related to the process of the program development. The results of the regression analysis show that the three dependent variables of the adoption, development, and dissemination are very closely interconnected with each others, showing the evidence of the circularity in the agencies. In addition, the 5 independent variables at the value of p .01 are statistically related with the circularity of the three dependent activities. The implication of major findings were discussed in academic and practical perspectives in Korea, including future research works in the area.

The Effects of Creating a Cooking Activity by Applying Recipe Development on Young Children's Creativity and Nutrition Knowledge (레시피 개발을 적용한 요리활동이 유아의 창의성 및 영양지식에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect on children's creativity and nutrition knowledge of cooking activities by applying recipe development. The procedure consists 7 steps which are diagnosing a necessity, setting a basic direction, setting ingredients and topics of the activity, designing some models of the activity, designing some developed activity, lastly completing the creative cooking activity. The model of this activities consists 5 steps which are exploring the ingredients, creating a recipe, practising the activities, representing the activities, lastly evaluation the activities. Participants were 36 children who are 4 to 5 years old from K daycare center located in Busan. The results exhibited that creativity and nutrition knowledge of experimental group is significantly higher than comparative group. The creative cooking activity by applying recipe development is effective for advancing in creativity and getting nutrition knowledge of children.

Development of Unplugged Activity and its Evaluation of Usability for Information Security Education (정보보호 교육을 위한 언플러그드 활동의 개발 및 유용성 평가)

  • Due to recent various online problems, the necessity of information security education has increased. The information security education was strengthened thanks to the informatics curriculum of middle school in 2007, but the educational fields lacked detailed educational materials that could be utilized. Thus to give appropriate information security education for elementary and middle school students, this research developed an unplugged activity for them. The activity was designed by applying Lickona's integrated ethical model and design patterns of unplugged activities, and developed through expert's review and pilot tests targeted to elementary school students. Developed activity was applied to 21 middle school students and the usability was evaluated. As results, first, the activity showed similar expectations from the previous activities. Second, persistence was also similar or higher compared to the previous activities, so the activity developed from this research secured the minimum usability. The unplugged activity developed from this research would give implications in producing various educational contents for information security education.

  • The purpose of this study is to exploring the procedure of developing hands-on activity and provide the generalized development procedure adjusted for the technology subject.   • As R&D cooperation activities with various partners are becoming huge in scale and scope, to achieve successful R&D performance, we need to systematically divide by its characteristics and to stratagemically carry out R&D cooperation activities. In this paper we propose R&D cooperation system between the university and the R&D institute in the geoscience field. The cooperation system can include activities of joint R&D program execution, R&D researcher exchange, R&D infrastructure use, technology commercialization and business exchange. Its system seems to positively affect on R&D performance and when considering the level of innovation as a moderating variable, in the situation of high innovation environment its system is able to positively affect on the R&D performance. For different effects of R&D cooperation activities on individual cooperation performance we can choose proper cooperation activities for R&D cooperation purposes.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 7차 교육과정에서 소개된 과학적 자유탐구 활동 모형을 개발하고 이러한 자유탐구 활동모형에 대한 효과를 알아보기 전에 예비 초등교사들의 인식조사를 하는 것이다. 개발 목적은 학생들의 과학탐구 활동능력신장에 있으며, 본 연구는 천문학사에 근거한 예를 사용하였다. 연구방법으로 Lawson(2010)의 과학적 탐구추론모형을 택하였다. 천문학사에서 예를 택해 자유탐구 모형과 설문지를 개발하여 예비초등교사들의 인식조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는, (1)대부분 예비 초등교사들은 이러한 자유탐구전략의 사용에 대한 아이디어를 좋아했으며, (2)이러한 과학적 자유탐구활동의 사용의 효과 또한 대부분의 응답자들이 잘 인식하고 있었다. (3)그럼에도 불구하고 많은 예비 초등교사들은 이러한 자유탐구 전략의 구성이 쉽지 않은 과정임을 인식하였고, 학생들에게 적합한 자유탐구활동모형의 개발을 위해서는 학생을 지도하는 교사들이 서로가 협력해야 한다고 응답하였다.

Development of the Program for Nature Experience Activity based on Flow-learning (플로러닝기반 자연체험활동 프로그램 개발)

  • This study was conducted to present an alternative instructional model through natural experience activities by developing a natural experience activity program that can learn and feel how to recognize and act on nature based on flow learning. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a nature experience program, which consists of four stages of meeting nature, exploring nature, playing with nature and sharing emotions, was developed based on the main procedures of each stage of the ADDlE instructional design model. Through the research process, activities and precautions for each stage of the nature experience activity program were presented, and major educational implications were discussed based on the developed program. The nature experience program developed through the study can provide teachers with a basic direction for nature experience activities along with changing their perception of how to do nature experience activities, and infants are expected to become learners who freely feel, experience nature and make up their own knowledge through the nature experience program.
