A Study on the Effective Decision-Making Support Model for Construction Duration by the Hypothetical Weather Simulation (가상기후 시뮬레이션에 의한 공기산정 의사결정 지원모델에 관한 연구)

  • The duration of construction in the construction works contains non-working days as well as working days. The duration is so relevant to climate that it should be calculated after fully considered about the regional climate in which construction processes. In most construction fields, however, there has been a frequent adjustment of duration because the field supervisor's experiences have decided non-working days indiscriminately without any accurate information about weather. Not only has that done great economic damages, but also caused many problems in interests among construction subject. So, in this study, we will analyse the elements of climate which has influences on the duration and implement the hypothetical weather simulation. By connecting the results of simulation with the duration of construction, we will propose the decision-making support model for the efficient calculation of duration when the field supervisor makes the projects schedule.

Astudy on Treatment of Livestock Wastewater using Coagulation and Fenton Oxidation Process (응집 및 fenton 산화공정을 연계한 축산폐수처리에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study was to remove organics and color in livestock wastewater using coagulation and Fenton oxidation process. After coagulation process as $1^{st}$ treatment, organics in $1^{st}$ treatment water were removed by using OH radical produced in Fenton oxidation process. Removal efficiencies of $COD_{Mn}$ and color were 87.2% and 95.7% separately. At that time, the ratio of $Fe^{2+}/H_2O_2$ was 0.8~1.0, and range of reaction pH was effective at the pH of 3.5~3.8. The Reaction time of 120min more than 60min or 90min was sufficient in Fenton process. Removal efficiency of organics was higher two- or multi-stage treatment than one-stage treatment.

Hash-chain-based IoT authentication scheme suitable for small and medium enterprises (중소기업 환경에 적합한 해쉬 체인 기반의 IoT 인증 기법)

  • With the emergence of the fourth industrial revolution, more and more attempts have been made to apply IoT technology to the manufacturing process and launch the product. In this paper, we propose IoT authentication scheme based on hash chain which can easily apply IoT device to small and medium enterprises in Korea. In the proposed method, the companies that installed IoT devices suitable for the manufacturing environment are selected to maintain the linkage between IoT devices so that product information and release information can be efficiently collected and managed during the entire manufacturing process. In addition, the proposed scheme is characterized in that it does not require an additional encryption / decryption algorithm because the authentication information of the IoT device is constructed based on a hash chain. As a result of the performance evaluation, the efficiency of the manufacturing process was improved by 18.5% and the processing of the manufacturing process with the IoT device was shortened by 20.1% on the average according to the application of the IoT device. In addition, the labor cost reduction costs in the manufacturing process decreased by an average of 30.7%.

  • Recently, shortage of natural aggregates resources and the amount of waste concrete hsve been rapidly increased, the technique of aggregates manufacturing of waste concrete is damanded. In this study, we evaluated the performance of gutter type roll crusher. Gutter type roll crusher is showed enhanced producing manufacturing ability. The gutter type roll crusher achieved more friction energy than general roll crusher, also a mount of producing showed same results.

  • Recently, the demolition industry is becoming more important than ever for formulating reuse and recycling of a construction waste with the current trend in pursuing a sustainable development. As considering the situation of a domestic housing construction and an existing house, a scale of a demolition market is expected to increase continually. Therefore, for a sustainable development, it is needed to forecast and manage rightly the demolition waste producted in a demolition phase. But, because most of a demolition company is very small and the investment in a technology development is not enough, the effort to develope a system and to make a standard for managing righly a demolition waste is also not sufficient. Therefore, this study develops a system to automatize quantifying a demolition waste. This system makes it possible to manage the planning of demolition works and the quantifying, disposal, reusing and recycling of a demolition waste in one system by integrating all the activities related with demolition works. 3D drawings of each element for demolition works will manage by being linked to its schedule for visualizing 3D object. Also, this study presents methods for quantifying easily a demolition waste by using 3D object.

Development of biological processes for the removal of assimilable organic carbon from potable water (음용수로부터 동화성 유기물질의 제거를 위한 생물학적 공정개발)

  • The experiments were performed using both batch and continuous column reactors. Batch biodegradation studies were performed under aerobic conditions to determine the biodegradable fraction of the natural organic matter (NOM) source. NOM source was evaluated for its biodegradability at three different UV irradiation conditions and compared to its biodegradability without UV irradiation. In continuous experiments, system operating parameters of empty bed contact time (EBCT), recycle ratio, and influent concentration affected the extent of biofiltration in the biofilters. The effluent UV254/DOC ratios fro the biologically active columns were consistently lower than the influent values, which indicated that the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) removed by biodegradation was not a significant part of the UV-absorbable material. The increase in UV254/DOC ratio was caused by the DOC decrease across the biofilter because there was essentially no difference between the feed and effluent UV254 absorbance values over time. The results of this research showed that biofiltration was an effective method for removing the biodegradable fraction of NOM from water supplies.

  • Production technologies in the imaging sector are innovating continuously and due to the visual experiences of powerful screen effects using 3D technologies, the public is now pursuing higher quality and more realistic visual effects. 3D production software with greater performance to realize this are now flooding the market, but artificial manual work and traditional hand-painting HDRI production methods still exist. There are few studies on new methods using HDRI production software using the computer's high performance data operations. In order to improve HDRI pipelines, this study links the two technological points of 'Nuke' and 'Photoshop' and it reduced production time and the improvements of quality were verified by using pipelines with new convergence methods.

  • 매립지에서 유기물의 분해로 발생되는 매립가스는 악취 등으로 인한 대기오염뿐만 아니라 온난화지수가 21인 메탄이 약 50vol% 이상 포함되어 있어 지구온난화에 큰 영향을 미친다. 하지만 매립가스를 에너지원으로 활용하면 대기오염저감, 지구온난화 감소, 대체에너지원 확보뿐만 아니라 CDM사업 등과 연계하여 부가수익창출이 가능하다. 현재 국내에는 약 242개의 폐기물매립지가 있는데, 이중 매립가스를 활용하는 곳은 단지 14개소로 개별 경제성이 있는 대형매립지에서만 자원화시설을 설치하여 운영 중이며 그 외 매립지에서는 매립가스를 소각 또는 단순 대기 방출하여 대기오염유발과 동시에 대체에너지원 미활용으로 국가차원에서 큰 손실이므로 이를 활용할 수 있는 기술개발이 시급하다. 현재 매립가스 에너지화 기술로는 매립가스 열량에 따라 가스엔진, 가스터진, 증기터빈을 이용하는데 국내에서는 수분제거와 같은 간단한 처리 과정을 거친 후, 정제 없이 사용한다. 그런데 매립가스 구성 성분 중 일부 미량가스($H_2S$ 등)는 부식성이 높아 실제 공정에서 큰 문제점으로 작용하게 되므로 전처리공정이 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 중소규모 매립지에서 발생하는 매립가스를 중심적환장으로 이송하여 경제성을 가지는 에너지원으로 활용할 수 있는 기술개발을 목표로 하이드레이트 기술을 활용함에 있어 전처리 기초연구를 수행하였다. 매립가스 구성성분 중 대표적 악취물질인 메르캅탄과 부식성 물질인 황화수소의 전처리 기술로서 활성탄 흡착방법을 이용하여 외부에서 관찰이 가능하고 흡착탑을 2단으로 구성하여 활성탄 흡착탑을 제작하였다. 대상가스는 일반적으로 매립가스에 포함되어 있는 성분으로 제작하여 사용하였고 흡착탑 전 후 가스의 성분분석은 LMSxi를 이용하였다. 실험결과 활성탄의 상태, 접촉시간, 흡착탑의 구성에 따라 50~80%의 제거효율을 보였으며 이는 활성탄 흡착탑을 매립가스 에너지화의 전처리 시설로 사용될 경우 각각의 변수들에 대해 정확한 공정설계가 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

  • In recent years, small and medium-sized businesses are rapidly changing to an industrial structure where process/quality/energy data aggregates can be automatically or real-time to achieve global competitiveness. In particular, real-time information analysis produced in the production process of small businesses is evolving into a new process process that analyzes, predicts, prescribes and implements significant performance of small businesses. In this paper, we propose a platform-building model that can transform the automated production information system of small businesses into big data so that they can upgrade data that is generated by small businesses. The proposed model has the capability to support operational efficiency (consulting and training) and strategic decision making of small businesses by utilizing a variety of data on the basic information of products produced by small businesses for data collection by smart SMEs. In addition, the proposed model is characterized by close cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses with different regional characteristics and areas of information sharing and system linkage.

Comparison of the Sonodegradation of Naphthalene and Phenol by the Change of Frequencies and Addition of Oxidants or Catalysts (주파수 변화 및 보조제 첨가에 따른 나프탈렌 및 페놀의 초음파 분해효율 비교)

  • The research seeks to find the optimal conditions for sonodegradation of naphthalene and phenol as exemplary organic pollutants to be subjected to ultrasound in varying frequencies (28 kHz, 580 kHz, and 1,000 kHz) and in the presence of different kinds of additive (T$TiO_2$, $H_2O_2$, $FeSO_4$, Zeolite, and Cu). In cases of both naphthalene and phenol, 580 kHz of ultrasound has proven to be the most effective among others at sonodegradation. Based on the observation that OH radicals are also produced in maximum under exposure of 580 kHz of ultrasound, we concluded that this frequency of ultrasound creates hospitable condition for the combined process of degradation by pyrolysis and oxidization. $FeSO_4's$ degradation rate and k1 value have increased by approximately 1.8 times compared with the results of the solutions without any additives. This seems to be the result of ultrasound reaction which, accompanied by Fenton's reaction, increased the oxidative degradation and the production of OH radicals. However, application of ultrasound and Fenton's reaction is limited to the batch type conditions, as its use in continuous system can cause loss of iron or decay of the cistern, thereby creating additional pollutants. When the additive is replaced with $TiO_2$, on the contrary, the rate of sonodegradation has increased up to 20% compared to when there was no additive. We therefore conclude that $TiO_2$ could prove to be an effective additive for ultrasound degradation in continuous treatment system.
