  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impacts of newspaper contents producers' role stress and burnout on their job satisfaction. For this, a survey was performed, of which the subjects were selected out of a great number of journalists employed in several newspapers. Finally, a total of 229 completed questionnaires were used for statistical inspections, such as correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, it is demonstrated that, the more stress journalists have with respect to role ambiguity, repetitive duties, and role conflict, which are three of the four factors causing role stress, they are less likely to have job satisfaction. However, role overload, the remaining factor of role stress, is shown to have nothing to do with job satisfaction despite it actually causes job stress most. Also, it is ascertained that role ambiguity among the aforementioned four factors of job stress has the most positive effect on job satisfaction in comparison. Second, burnout is shown to have negative correlation with job satisfaction. That is, it is identified that, the more burnout such as emotional exhaustions, depersonalization, and depreciation of personal accomplishment journalists perceive, they are less likely to have job satisfaction. In addition, it is become clear that depreciation of personal accomplishment, among the factors of burnout, has the strongest impact on job satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine if ego resilience has regulating effects in correlation between child care teachers' job stress and work environment and their performance of roles with child care teachers working in Seoul and Incheon. PASW 20.0 was employed to conduct frequency, percentage, and reliability analysis. For each of the study questions, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and stepwise regression analysis were done. The findings of this study are as follows; First, job stress perceived by child care teachers is found to have negative effects on their performance of roles. Second, work environment perceived by child care teachers such as relationship with the director, relationship with fellow teachers, welfare environment, support for teacher expertise, and factors related to operation or decision making are found to influence their performance of roles. Lastly, in correlation between work environment perceived by child care teachers and their performance of roles, ego resilience has regulating effects, and so does it in correlation between job stress and their performance of roles.

Also, the effect of job authority-related stress and job environment stress on job satisfaction showed that the quality of LMX didn't have an influence.

The subjects of this study were 193 nurses who worked in general hospitals in K district. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple stepwise regression. The results of the study are as follows. First, among the general characteristics, working years in general hospital wards showed a statistically significant difference in professional identity the less the working years in general hospital, the higher the professional identity. Second, professional identity showed a positive correlation with job satisfaction and role conflict, and a negative correlation with job stress. The higher the professional identity, the higher the job satisfaction and role conflict, but the lower the job stress. Role conflict showed a positive correlation with job stress the higher the role conflict, the higher the job stress. Job stress and job satisfaction showed a negative correlation the higher the job stress, the lower the job satisfaction.
