This research aims to study on educational methods of Nature-Study extracted through a wide body of literatures and meaning of Nature-Study toward today's science education. For this, viewpoints of Nature-Study were drown by previous historical study about Nature-Study. And educational methods of Nature-Study based on viewpoints of Nature-Study were abstracted by collecting and analyzing of literatures. Meaning of Nature-Study toward today's science education was considered. The research resulted in the following; First, Nature-Study emphasize the sympathy with nature, aim for integrated subject study and include non-formal study from a viewpoint of 'studying with nature'. Second, Nature-Study aim for outdoor activities, emphasize experiences than texts, value fundamental observation from a viewpoint of 'study through first-hand experiences'. Third, Nature-Study value interest of students, support the study for all students, emphasize the teachers' role as a helper from a viewpoint of 'learner-centered education'. Nature-Study is suggested to change view of point over to science education through nature toward today's science education.

The study ooramed has the meanngs as a goal, to examine a character and changes of function a "Maru" in the literatures historically. Methodically the literatures in the temporal oonsequences were selected, and the "Maru", whidl oomes into it, was interpreted in its historical oonnections. By the investigation I oould oome to the following results. First of all, those terms "Maru" and "Daechll1Q" were cfifferently used after the sizes and p1ares of the spaces concerned. I.e, the "Maru" in the center of the house is called "Daed1ung", With the Maru does not concern actually its p1are, Secondly, the functions of the spare "Maru" are characterized as follows. ·Space for the important ceremonies ·Spare for the passage and the switching of two or several spaces. ·Determination of the hierardly of spares in the whole house. ·Spare for the receipt. ·Spare for sleeping and for living. ·Spare for work, storage etc. Thirdly, the meanings of the "Maru" were dlanged as follows in the time. ·The term "Man! was used from the past to today without interrujjion. Arot.l1d 1930 the tenns "Yangsil" and "Geosil" for the tenn "Maru" were emerged. ·The different dlaraderistics for the space "Maru" are found in the cortemporary literatures only rare. This study aims to investigate the evolution of calculating the volume of a sphere in eastern and western mathematical history. In western case, Archimedes', Cavalieri's and Kepler's approaches, and in eastern case, Nine Chapters';, Liu Hui's and Zus' approaches are worthy of noting. The common idea of most of these approaches is the infinitesimal concept corresponding to Cavalieri's or Liu-Zu's principle which would developed to the basic idea of Calculus. So this study proposes an alternative to organization of math-textbooks or instructional procedures for teaching the volume of a sphere based on the principle.

수문조사를 우량, 수위, 유량을 측정하는 것으로 정의하고, 위와 같은 기록을 바탕으로 하면 우리나라의 근대 수문조사는 1911년에 시작된 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이에 따라 2011년은 우리나라의 근대 수문조사 100년이 되는 해이다. 이를 계기로 과거 우리나라 수문조사의 역사를 정리하고 새로운 발전방향을 제시하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 1910∼1945년의 기간에 발간된 고문서를 대상으로 하여 수문조사에 대하여 작성한 문서를 발굴, 정리 및 분석하여 과거 수문조사에 대한 내용을 쉽게 파악하고, 역사적, 학술적으로 중요한 수문조사의 문서를 쉽게 접할 수 있도록 하였다. 1911년 이후에 수문조사, 하천, 기상, 수력, 홍수 등에 대하여 작성된 문서를 수집하기 위해서 문헌 조사를 실시하였다. 특히, 1911년부터 1940년의 일제 강점기때 조선총독부에서 우리나라의 수문조사 및 수자원 등에 대하여 발행한 문서 중에서 아직까지 일반인에게 보급되지 않은 문서를 중심으로 조사하였다. 이러한 문헌 조사는 국내외 도서관에서의 문서 검색, 고문서 판매서점의 판매문서 확인 등의 방법으로 이루어졌고, 이렇게 하여 수집된 문서는 총 115권이었다. 수집한 문서 중에서 조사 및 공사 연보, 원문 내용을 확인하기 곤란한 경우, 기번역된 문서를 제외한 나머지 문서에 대해서 내용을 쉽게 파악할 수 있도록 주요 내용을 정리하였다. 주요 내용에는 서지정보로서 저자, 발행기관, 발행연도, 핵심용어 등을 정리하고, 일본어로 작성된 문서 내용을 파악하는데 도움을 주기위해 주요 내용과 목차를 번역하여 정리하였다. 이렇게 정리된 문서는 본문 내용, 발행연도, 발행기관 등에 대하여 경향성을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 본문 내용에 대하여 살펴본 결과, 호우 등에 의한 수해 현황을 기술한 문서, 수문관측 자료를 기술한 문서, 하천조사 내용을 기술한 문서 등이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 발행연도별로 살펴보면, 1920년도와 1930년도에 많이 발행된 것으로부터 이 시기에 수문관측, 하천조사, 하천공사 등이 활발하게 이루어졌음을 짐작할 수 있었다. 그리고 이 문서들은 조선총독부에서 발행한 것으로 일본이 조선의 하천 상황을 파악하기 위해 계획적이고 체계적으로 수문관측, 하천조사 등을 실행하였음을 짐작할 수 있었다. 이와 같이 우리나라 수문조사의 역사를 발굴하고 분석한 결과 자료는 향후 우리나라 수문조사의 발전방향을 제시하는데 있어 밑거름이 될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 학술적, 기술적으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

In this study, the Bookstore Block of Historical and Cultural Street in Kaifeng City is taken as the object, which makes analysis on the landscape color features appearing in the elements of the bookstore block landscape. Through literature, it obtains the contrast list for the landscape composite elements of the historical and cultural street. After mastering the general characteristics of architectural colors and basic analysis methods of landscape colors in the Qing Dynasty, it conducts the site survey on the landscape composition elements and colors of the bookstore block. According to the conclusion, it is found that the landscape color of bookstore block is composed of R series, PB series, Y series and achromatic (N) series, in which the overall color shows relatively high integrity. However, it exists some deficiencies in the use of colors in signs, facilities and modeling objects. Therefore, it is necessity to increase the color plan of landscape elements such as signs, modeling objects and facilities, enhance the recognition possibilities of visual information.

Library and information science(LIS) research, as reflected in its own disciplinary and professional history, has been ignorant of the transitions and developments of other humanities and social science disciplines. For instance, the positivistic perspectives in research have been maintained in the field while other disciplines have been experimenting wide variety of research methods and aspects. This paper attempts to articulate that LIS research should play an appropriate role in analyzing and investigating various key-words in modern knowledge society. In this regard it scrutinizes the applicability and implications of discourse analysis. It specifically surveys the historical background of the development of LIS research; then it explains the dimensions of discourse analysis and some principles; and, finally it shows some examples of research projects that emp1oy these perspectives.

In order to shed some light on the historical change of biodiversity concepts, this paper reviews the science and technology studies (STS) literature on the history of biological research on human genetic diversity. By doing that, I show how the notion of genetic diversity in the human population - from "race" to "population" to "biogeographical ancestry" - has changed with methodologies and techniques over the last hundred years. In the meantime, I point out contexts and situations, despite conceptual and methodological developments, that show that current human genetic diversity research is slipping into the past mistakes of scientific racism. This article offers biodiversity researchers an opportunity to consider their own scientific practices on classifying species more reflectively.

On this study, the historical flow of the notation was briefly examined and the direction of mathematical investigation activity of the content of notation by analogy was explored and teaching learning materials were developed. Diverse mathematical facts were investigated on the basis of decimal system and binary system which are learned in middle school. First, the way of progressing analytic activity with algebraic material was examined. Second, on the basis of the notation which are learned in the first grade of middle school, the definition of the scale of a -notation, -a -notation, $\frac{1}{a}$notation, $\sqrt{a}$-notation was extended by analogy. The result of this study will be expected to establish the curriculum of mathematics and provide teaching and learning with the meaningful current events.

This paper examines the historical meaning and value of sound art curating as a key type of interdisciplinary and convergence art practice that has been unfolding since the mid-20th century. Accordingly, this paper summarizes the developmental process from the beginning of 'sound art' to the present, but examines the context of visual art in which the material 'sound' functioned in chronological order, and focuses on curating cases of major sound art exhibitions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact and contemporary significance of the provided aesthetic experience. To this end, the text is divided into three sections and developed. The first section recognizes that the late 19th century futurist and Dadaist sound poetry, followed by Marcel Duchamp's 1913 attempt to combine musical score with visual art, had a profound influence on the visual music of avant-garde composer John Cage. This explains why this background caused the emergence of exhibitions dealing with 'sound' as a new medium. The second section explains that in the 1970s, sound as an artistic medium played a role in reflecting the critical relationship with the exhibition space dominated by visuality. In the third section, we analyze the curatorial methodology that allows the audience to experience sound as if it were a visual object within the organization of the exhibition hall from the 1980s to the present. Through this process, this paper critically treats the historical practice of customizing the perceptual structure in the exhibition hall, and considers the meaningful methodology of sound art curating considering the role of sound full of vitality in the contemporary art scene.
