  • The purpose of this study was to explore the causal relationships between turnover intention and its influencing factors among married female nurses. The participants included 148 married nurses at 5 general hospitals in J city. Data were collected by using self-reported questionnaires and were analyzed by using SPSS and AMOS software. The overall fitness of the modified path model to the data was good ($x^2/df=0.002$, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 1.00, RMSEA = 0.00, NFI = 1.00, CFI = 1.00, TLI = 1.09). Job stress, social support, work-family conflict, and burnout explained 32.0% of the variance in turnover intention of the participants. In particular, work-family conflict had a complete mediating effect between job stress and burnout. In addition, work-family conflict had partial mediating effects between social support and burnout as well as between social support and turnover intention. Social support had direct and indirect effects on work-family conflict, burnout, and turnover intention. In conclusion, strategies for decreasing married nurses' burnout and turnover intention should focus on reducing work-family conflict and increasing social support.

  • Korea is a rapidly industrializing nation. As a consequence, more mothers are working outside the home. This trend is likely to continue into the future and raises the problem of infant-toddler care during the mother's working hours. Considering that Korea is making such rapid economic advances, quality care for children of working mothers Is not only desirable but affordable as well. Variety in options for child care is recommended by Beck (1982). Some of the alternatives in child care have been discussed elsewhere (KWDI, 1984). This paper, thus, concentrated on center-based, worksite child care. Because the human environment is the most important aspect of the center, qualified staff and a low ratio of children per staff member is Vital. Philosophy of program and its actualization ensures that the children have a worthwhile experience at the center. The physical plant houses the center and includes provision for space, materials, and equipment for staff and child use in carrying out the program. Adequate health protection is a critical factor in infant-toddler group care programs.

  • It is a reality that office workers in modern society cannot overlook their appearance management for promotion in the workplace that does not fall behind in competition with others and smooth human relationships. According to this social trend, it is time to conduct an in-depth cosmetology study on the appearance management and perception of office workers, including hair styles. Therefore, this study analyzed the hair style type and preference closely by cross-analyzing the differences between groups by classifying the occupational persons of female airline crew, female soldiers, female sportsmen, female lawyers, and female nurses into age, marriage, academic background, and occupation. As result of study, it was found that different women in each occupational group had different results, such as their current hair style type and hair texture, the use of current hair styling products, and their personal preference for women's hairstyles and hair colors. • This study is to develop welfare programs based on the characteristics of middle-or-old-aged woman workers in manufacturing industry. 7cities and 2 counties in Kyunggi-Do were selected. for survey considering their accessibility. Total 471 woman workers were interviewed personally and the data has been analyzed using SPSS. First, the findings show that their family structure is characterized by nuclear family and they have school-aged children who need someone else's care, therefore they need child related services to help them such as after school care. Second, they have few welfare facilities in their work and they have never tried to find any outside their work. Thus, it is necessary to prepare welfare programs in their working place. The welfare programs they need most are discount stores, medical service, counseling service, and so on.
