  • With the development of internet diffusion, digital contents industries has been growing with various forms such as game, animation, e-learning etc.. Considering that digital contents industry is the part of national growth engine, it is very important to make decision over technology development direction based on commercialization premises. This paper tries to give practical help over industries and academia through details industry analysis and assessment. The part of assessment tools which was originated from Standford Research Institute has been applied to compare and analyze the details industries.

  • With the expansion of internet diffusion, the digital content industry in such sector game, animation and e-learning shows rapid growth and, accordingly it becomes important for policy makers to provide its technical R&D directions ensuring successful commercialization. This paper provides details on the business and industry assessment, and further, proposes substantial support over industries as well as academia. The Business Opportunity Engineering(BOE) process, revised and systemized assessment frame of the seven steps of SRIC-BI process, has been applied to assess and compare the digital content business and industry.

The Calibration Method of Time Resolved Laser Induced Incandescence Using Carbon Black Particles for the Soot Measurement at Exhaust Tail Pipe in Engine (엔진 배기단 적용을 위한 Time Resolved Laser Induced Icandescence (TIRE-LII) 신호의 보정 : 카본 입자 이용)

  • The calibration technique of Time Resolved Laser Induced Incandescence was investigated both experimentally and numerically by using standard-sized carbon black particles for the instantaneous soot measurement at exhaust tail pipe in engine. The carbon black particles (19nm, 25nm, 45nm and 58nm) used in this study are similar, though not identical, to soot particle generated from flame not only in morphology but also in micro-structure. The amount of soot loading in flow was controled by a diluted gas (nitrogen) and was measured by the gravimetric method at exhaust pipe in calibrator. The successful calibrations of primary particle size and soot mass fraction were carried out at the range from 19nm to 58nm and from $0.25mg/m^3$ to $37mg/m^3$ respectively. And based on these results the numerical simulation of LII signal was tuned and the effect of an exhaust temperature variation on the decay rate of LII signal was corrected.

  • An environment of information sharing is developed as a high-speed growth of internet infrastructure and a fast supply of digital imaging devices. Therefore, developing and supply various digital contents are needed. As occasion demands, the utility of editing tools with a simple image viewer, or programs to need technical education increased. One of subproblems is to take long time for editing images. In this paper, we propose a new method which is a method to edit images in a lump. This method has advantages compared with the previous searching engines in terns of performances and speed. Also, we propose the new approach for developing fusion graphic image contents as binding each advantages of the category. It reduces the production time and costs of contents by the proposed method.

A Fundamental Study of Air-Fuel Ratio Control on LPG Liquid Injection Engines (LPG 액체분사엔진의 공연비제어에 관한 기초 연구)

  • Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is used in spark ignition (SI) engines. Fuel injection rate of an injector is affected by fuel temperature and pressure in LPG liquid injection systems for either a multi-point-injection (MPI) or a direct injection (DI) engine. Even fuel injection conditions are varied, the air-fuel ratio should be accurately controlled to reduce exhaust emissions. In this study, a correction factor fur the fuel injection rate of an injector is derived from density ratio and pressure difference ratio. A compensation method of injected fuel amount is proposed for a fuel injection control system. The experimental results for the LPG liquid injection system in a SI engine show that this system works well fur a full range of engine speed and load condition, and the air-fuel ratio is accurately controlled by the proposed correction factor.

  • The history of excavator design is not long enough which still causes most of the design considerations to be focused on static analysis or simple functional improvement based on static analysis. However, the real forces experiencing on each component of excavator are highly transient and impulsive. Therefore, the prediction and the evaluation of the movement of the excavator by dynamic load in the early design stage through the dynamic transient analysis of the excavator and ensuring of design technique plays an importance role to reduce development-cost, shorten product-deliver, decrease vehicle-weight and optimize the system design. In this paper, Commercial software DADS and ANSYS help to develop the track model of the crawler type excavator, and to evaluate the performance and the dynamic characteristics of excavator with various simulations. For that reason, the track of crawler type excavator is modelled with DADS Track Vehicle Superelement, and the reaction forces on the track rollers were predicted through the driving simulation. Also, the upper frame and cabin vibration characteristics, at the low RPM idle state, were evaluated with engine rigid body modelling. And flexibility body effects were considered to determine the more accurate joint reaction forces and accelerations under the upper frame swing motion.

  • 지능 재료를 이용한 디바이스는 자연계에 존재하는 생명체와 같이 내.외부 환경 변화에 대응하여 스스로 변하는 능동적 기능을 갖고 있기 때문에 시스템 성능의 극대화 및 유지비용의 최소화를 가져오게 된다. 이러한 지능재료 기술은 지난 10여년 전부터 연구되었는데 대표적인 웅용을 보면, 산업, 항공, 교통, 운송 분야의 능동 소음 및 반능동 진동제어; 복합 재료 손상위치 탐지시스템, 손상구조 건전성 평가시스템, 교량, 저장탱크, 건물, 유조선, 대형 구조물의 건전성 평가 시스템; 초정밀 직진 안내기구, 나노 스테이지, 절삭오차 보정용 엑츄에이터, 초음파 회전모터, 지능유압 서보밸브, 변형 거울 등의 모터/엑츄에이터; 자동차 엔진 성능제어, 흡배기구 압력측정, 가속도 센서, 자이로센서, 에어백 센서, 타이어 센서 등의 지능 MEMS/NEMS 센서; electronic article 정찰, 도서태그, 비접촉 항공 운송물 분류 및 보안시스템, 전자 운전자 식별시스템, 광섬유 건물 보안 시스템, 지능 신경망 형상 인식 시스템 등의 보안 시스템; 지능항공기 구조물, 인공위성안테나, 헬리콥터 회전익 등의 형상제어가 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능재료 기술을 정리하고 차세대 철도차량 기술에 지금까지 적용한 예를 소개하며 향후 적용할 수 있는 분야들을 가능성 및 실용성 면에서 소개하고자 한다.

  • Traditional OCR engines are designed to the scanned documents in calibrated environment. Three dimensional perspective distortion and smooth distortion in images are critical problems caused by un-calibrated devices, e.g. image from smart phones. To meet the growing demand of character recognition of texts embedded in the photos acquired from the non-calibrated hand-held devices, we address the problem in three categorical aspects: rotational invariant method of text region extraction, scale invariant method of text line segmentation, and three dimensional perspective mapping. With the integration of the methods, we developed an OCR for camera-captured images.

An appropriateness review on the road tunnel ventilation standards by pollutants site measurement and case study (오염물질 현장측정 및 사례조사를 통한 도로터널 환기기준의 적정성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a series of site measurement of particulate and gases pollutants at five tunnels were carried out along with case studies to review the suitability of the current road tunnel ventilation design standards. Previous studies by other researchers have shown that the ratios of the level of measurement to the standard were 27.9%, 1.6% and 3.4% for TSP, CO and NOx, respectively. Those measured in this site study shows even lower ratios; the ratios were 2.6%, 0.8% and 0.3%, for TSP, CO and NOx, respectively. The particle size analysis of TSP for the five tunnels shows that PM10 including tire wear and re-suspended road dust exceeded 20.4%. This implies that non-exhaust particulate matter must be taken into account, since the current design standards for the particulate matter (visibility) include only the engine emission. Based on the recent research results, for vehicle emission rate and slope-speed correction factors, revision of ventilation design standards for pollutants is required. WRA (PIARC) also emphasizes the necessity of the ventilation design standards for pollutants. In addition, enactment of a new road tunnel ventilation system operation standard or guideline is strongly recommended when considering the low operating rate of the ventilation system with jet-fans.

Evaluation of Colour Difference Between Cotton Dyed Fabrics and Reflection Print Images Using CAD Systems (CAD 시스템을 이용한 면염직물과 스캐닝 프린트 이미지간의 색차 평가)

  • 컴퓨터와 첨단영상매체의 발달로 디자인 분야에서도 컴퓨터를 사용하여 색을 자유롭게 선택할 수 있는 그래픽 소프트웨어가 도입되고 있으나 영상정보의 색채 재현성과 영상입출력 장치의 다양화로 인한 색채 불일치에 대한 문제들이 극복해야할 시급한 과제로 부각되고 있다. 따라서, 색채 영상정보 입출력장치의 색채구현 성능과 인간의 색채인지 원리이론을 바탕으로 색보정 알고리즘이 발전하여 색보정 엔진의 개발이 국제적으로 활발히 진행되고 있는 연구 분야임에도 불구하고 국내에서는 그 연구사례가 상대적으로 극히 미비한 실정이며, 더욱이, CAD 시스템을 이용한 패션/텍스타일 디자인 분야에서는 이에 대한 연구가 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 염색 직물의 색을 CAD시스템을 이용하여 soft-copy로 재현하고 이것을 다시 hard-copy로 출력하여 물리적 측정치와 주관적 색채 인지도간의 일치도를 비교하고, 물리적, 주관적 색차의 한계치를 제시함으로써, 패션/텍스타일 디자인 CAD시스템 운용에 기초가 되는 자료를 제공하려 하였다. 연구의 절차는 객관적 측정과 주관적 평가 두 단계로 나누어 진행되었다 연구에 사용된 직물은 7가지 색상의 면 염직물로써, CAD시스템을 이용하여 각 직물당 5개의 soft-copy를 재현하고, 이것을 다시 hard-copy로 출력하여 spectrophotometer를 이용해 물리적 측정(ΔE, ΔL, Δc, Δh)을 실시하였다. 또한 주관적 평가에는 20명의 의류학 전공 학생들이 참여하였다. 결과 분석에는 분산분석과 Friedman분석이 사용되었다. 연구 결과 색차 측정에 대한 물리적 측정치와 1차 주관적 평가치 사이의 일치도는 90.5%로 나타났으며, 2차 주관적 평가치와의 rank order는 거의 일치하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주관적 평가에서 피험자들은 색차인지에 있어 CIELAB 색채공간의 각각의 색요소 차이보다는 전체 색차에 더 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.녹색콩풍뎅이의 유충에 의하여 피해를 받는 것이 확인되었다. 녹색콩풍뎅이 유충의 피해를 받은 금잔디는 황화되거나 시들음 증상이 있었고, 이듬해 봄에는 잔디의 회복이 지연되었다.ic conductivity.
