  • The purpose of the paper is to estimate the functions of the energy input efficiency and the energy intensity efficiency, and measure their energy efficiencies for the reduction of greenhouse gases focusing on OECD countries. The efficiency of the traditional energy intensity was rarely connected with the energy efficiencies of the stochastic frontier function. It seems that the energy efficiency by the function of energy input efficiency sensitively responds to the order of GDP, capital stock, labor, and energy input quantity as explanatory variables. In the future, we need to reduce energy quantities by the optimal mix of inputs, and pursuit low-carbon economic growth through the production of the goods consuming small energy.

  • A game theoretic approach is applied for studying the energy efficient rate scheduling. The individual utility function is defined first. Then, a non cooperative rate game is modeled in which each user decides the transmission rate to maximize its own utility. The utility function considered here is the consumed energy for the individual user's data transmissions. In particular, using the fact that the utility function is convex, we prove the existence of Nash Equilibrium in the energy efficient rate scheduling problem at hand. Accordingly, a non cooperative scheduling algorithm is provided. For better energy efficiency, the sum of the individual user's utility function is optimized Finally, the convergence analysis and numerical results to show the energy efficiency of the proposed algorithms are provided.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for improving energy efficiency by estimating the regional energy efficiency in Korea using the stochastic frontier approach beyond the energy intensity that has been traditionally used as an indicator of energy efficiency. In this paper, energy efficiency and energy intensity efficiency were estimated as a stochastic distance function from 1998 to 2018 for 16 cities and provinces in Korea. In addition, the robustness of energy efficiency according to the capital stock estimation methods which had been mixed in previous studies was reviewed. As a result of the analysis, there is a significant change in regional rankings according to the three energy efficiency indicators, so they should be used complementary to each other. Second, while the energy efficiency improved little by little over time, the energy intensity efficiency decreased slightly though. Lastly, energy efficiency by region according to the capital stock estimation method was not robust. Care must be taken in estimating capital stock, which is important in economic analysis.

능동소음제어-제어음장의 물리적 성질 및 제어방법론

  • 이 글에서는 능동소음제어에 있어서, 음장 혹은 음원을 표현하는 물리량은 음향에너지, 파워, 인텐시티를 통하여 제어 가격함수로서의 각 의미를 살펴보았다. 졍리하면 이 세가지 물량들은 음향에너지의 균형이라는 물리적 변칙에 의해 서로 단단히 결속되어 있으며, 이들은 음장의 형태와 성격 그리고 파장과 주파수 등과 관련이 있으므로, 능동소음제어 입장에서 제어 목적에 맞게 적절히 사용할 필요가 있다고 볼 수 있다. 음향 에너지의 제어 개념 즉, 음향에너지를 가격함수로 하는 제어 방법은, 원하는 정숙공간(zone of quiet)을 제어할 때 그 적절성이 있음을 보았 으며, 음향 파워는 그 물리량 자체가 어떤 음원의 특성을 표현하고 있으므로 제어에 의하여 방사 효율을 감소(weak radiator)시키고자 할 때 가장 자연스러운 가격 함수 가 됨을 살펴보았다. 또한 음향 인텐시티라는 물리량은 음향 에너지의 전달 특성을 대표하는 특성임을 살펴보았고, 따라서 소음 전파의 감소(noise transmission reduction)를 위한 제어 가격 함수로의 당위성을 확인하였다. 이러한 모든 제어 방법 들이 사실은 가관측성 및 가제어성을 가져야 함은 주지의 사실이며, 음향 파워나 인텐시티를 가격 함수로 하는 제어 방법의 경우 실제적인 가관측성상의 문제점들로 인하여 그 현실성이 아직은 거리가 있다 하겠다.

Optimization of the Number of Active Antennas for Energy-Efficiency in the MIMO Broadcast Channel (다중 사용자 다중 안테나 하향링크 채널에서 에너지 효율 향상을 위한 기지국 활성 안테나 수 최적화 기법)

  • We introduce a number of antenna optimization problem for the zero-forcing beamforming (ZFBF) scheme to enhance energy-efficiency (EE) of the multiple-input-multiple-output broadcast channel. For proposed optimization problem, we assume an instantaneous channel gain of the ZFBF scheme as an average channel gain, given by $N_a-K+1$, in order to reduce a computational complexity of finding the number of active antennas $N_a$. Then, we convert a fractional-form objective function into a subtractive-form, and find a solution of $N_a$ and the maximum EE by an iterative process. Simulation results show that the maximum EE value obtained by proposed algorithm is almost identical to the optimal EE value by the exhaustive search method.

  • IoT technology that utilizes wireless body area networks (WBAN) and biosensors is an important field in the health industry to minimize resources and monitor patients. In order to integrate IoT and WBAN, a cooperative protocol that constitutes WBAN's limited sensor nodes and rapid routing for efficient data transmission is required. In this paper we propose an we propose an energy efficient and cooperative link energy-efficient routing strategy(LEERS) to solve the problems of redundant data transmission detection and limited network sensor lifetime extention. The proposed scheme considers the hop count node congestion level towards the residual energy sink and bandwidth and parameters. In addition, by determining the path cost function and providing effective multi-hop routing, it is shown that the existing method is improved in terms of residual energy and throughput

  • Mobile robots, including UAVs perform missions with limited fuel. Therefore, the energy-aware path planning is required to maximize efficiency when the robot is operated for a long time. In this study, we estimated the power consumption for each maneuver of a quadcopter UAV in the 3D environment and applied to the cost functions of D Lite. The simulations were performed in a 3D environment that is similar to the industrial sites. The efficiency of path generation was high when the energy-aware path planning with simplified heuristic was applied. In addition, the energy-aware path was generated 19.3 times faster than the shortest path with a difference within 3.2%.

  • We propose an intelligent ribbon road network for automatic vehicle simulation, and a real-time algorithm for large-scale, realistic traffic simulation based on artificial energy functions. Our method reconstructs a road network automatically from both GIS (Geographic Information System) real-world data and synthetic models. Such automatic road network helps us to easily simulate almost every possible scenario such as intersections, ramps, etc. In order to simulate agents' movement, we design car-environment interaction energy and car-car interaction energy functions. Car agents move along the road network according to the proposed energy functions while avoiding collisions with other car agents.

  • 고효율기기의 보급량은 지원금 수준에 크게 영향을 받으므로 각 고효율기기 프로그램에 대한 적정 지원금 수준의 결정은 매우 중요하다. 그러나 에너지 효율 프로그램에 대한 수요관리 목표량은 과거 실적 데이터를 이용한 단순 확산 모형으로 산정되고 있으며, 목표량에 따른 지원금 또한 단순히 추정하여 산정되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문은 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 고효율기기별 적정 지원금 수준을 산정하고자 목적함수와 제약조건을 설정하여 최적화를 수행하였다.

  • 모든 RF 통신 시스템에서 사용되는 마이크로파 필터는 통과 대역에서 에너지를 전달하고, 저지 대역에서 에너지를 감쇄시키는 역할을 한다. 주파수 사용 효율을 높이기 위해서 대역내 평탄도 및 군지연 특성이 우수하고, 대역외에서 높은 감쇄를 갖는 필터 개발에 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 본 고에서 필터 개발에 필수적인 전달 함수 특성 및 결합 구조에 관하여 고찰한다.
