Spectral Element Analysis for the Electro-Mechanical Admittance of a Piezoelectric Wafer Bonded on a Plate (판구조물에 부착된 압전소자의 전기역학적 어드미턴스 스펙트럼 요소 해석)

  • 구조물의 표면에 부착된 압전소자(이하 PZT)의 전기역학적 어드미턴스(Electro-mechanical admittance)는 PZT와 구조물의 상호작용에 의해 발생하는 PZT의 압전효과와 유전성(dielectric)이 결합되어 발생되는 신호이다. 고주파수 대역에서 PZT의 전기역학적 어드미턴스는 구조물의 국부손상에 민감하게 반응하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 실험에서 측정된 PZT의 전기역학적 어드미턴스 분석에 널리 쓰이는 Liang 모델은 구조물을 단자유도계로 단순화하여 구조물의 동적특성이 전기역학적 어드미턴스에 미치는 영향을 정확하게 나타내기 어렵다. 유한요소법을 통해 PZT와 구조물의 상호작용을 해석하면 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있다. 그러나 고주파 대역에서 정확한 해석을 위해서는 유한요소망을 조밀하게 구성해야 하므로 많은 계산비용이 수반된다. 이 연구에서는 유한요소법과 비교하여 월등히 적은 계산비용으로 고주파 대역의 동적 응답을 매우 정확하게 모사할 수 있는 스펙트럼 요소법(Spectral Element Method ; 이하 SEM)을 통해 판구조물에 부착된 PZT의 전기-역학적 어드미턴스를 해석한다. 수치 예제 및 실험 예제를 통하여 내민보에 부착된 PZT에서 발생하는 전기-역학적 어드미턴스를 취득하고 이를 SEM해석 결과와 비교한다.

Study on Transmission Loss in Smart Panel Using Admittance (어드미턴스를 이용한 지능패널의 투과손실에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, transmission loss of smart panel was investigated using piezoelectric shunt damping. Admittance of piezoelectric system was introduced to represent electro-mechanical coupling of smart panel and to predict the performance of shunt damping. Finite element method was used to obtain numerical admittance. In order to illuminate the effect of noise reduction in the shunt system, transmission loss of the smart panel was investigated. Two models were considered to show the relation between admittance and transmission loss of smart panel. It was observed that admittance of piezoelectric system could be used as a design index of smart panel.

  • 본 논문에서는 전자기 과도현상 해석을 위한 다단자 회로망 등가표현법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 M개의 경계모선을 가진 축약대상 계통의 과도특성을 시간 영역에서 분석하며 이를 이용해 M 개의 노톤형 이산시간 등가 어드미턴스 필터꼴의 등가시스템을 구현한다. 이 때 각각의 등가 어드미턴스 필터 모델들은 해당 경계모선에서의 구동점 어드미턴스 특성을 나타내는 부분과 나머지 M-1 개의 등가 종속전류원으로 구성된다. 또한 이 등가 종속전류원들은 각 경계모선을 연결하는 분포정수 회로요소들로 인한 시지연 효과를 명확하게 반영할 수 있는 구조를 갖는다. 완성된 M 단자쌍 모델을 해석대상 시스템에 대한 이산시간 표현형과 쉽게 결합하여 원하는 전자기 과도현상 모의해석을 수행할 수 있다. 축약대상 시스템과 2 개의 경계모선을 통해 연결된 시험계통을 대상으로 모선지락 사고시 과전압과 스위칭 써지를 모의해석한 결과 제안하는 방법이 타당함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper an identification method is presented to obtain the equivalent electric model of a sandwitch type piezoelectric transducer. Unknown parameters related to the equivalent circuit are identified by solving a nonlinear optimization problem which can minimize an error between the experimental and analytical admittances in air. The proposed method is applied to an example transducer. The validity of equivalent circuit model is demonstrated by the comparison between the experimental measurements and analytical calculations of transmitting voltage response(TVR) and receiving voltage response(RVS).

  • The acoustic characteristics of perforated tube muffler are studied in terms of non-dimensional wavenumber ka and admittance-ratio AZ. This study includes not only the case of perforated tubes having uniform hole distribution along the length but also the case of having non-uniform hole distributions. The acoustic hole impedance and transmission loss of perforated tube of which has various hole distributions were measured. The experimental results demonstrated that the transmission loss of perforated tube is a function of non-dimensional wave number ka and admittance-ratio AZ. The transmission loss of perforated tube muffler is predicted by the numerical method which is based on Sullivans and compared with the experimental ones.

  • 본 논문에서는, 기존의 문헌에 사용되어 온 $\Gamma$형을 대체할 수 있는 새로운 T형 장거리 송전선로 모델을 제시한다. 특히, T-모델은 선로 양단의 병렬 어드미턴스와의 중복이 없다. 또한, 기존 문헌에 제시된 hyperbolic solution을 이용한 간단한 장거리 송전선로 A,B,C,D 파라미터 유도방법을 소개한다. hyperbolic solution으로 장거리 송전선로 파라미터를 유도할 경우, exponential solution보다 수식의 양을 줄일 수 있고, 초기값도 간단하게 구할 수 있다.

  • The control of diamond turning is usually achieved through a laser-interferometer feedback of slide position. The limitation of this control scheme is that the feedback signal does not account for additional dynamics of the tool post and the material removal process. If the tool post is rigid and the material removal process is relatively static, then such a non-collocated position feedback control scheme may surfice. However, as the accuracy requirement gets tighter and desired surface cnotours become more complex, the need for a direct tool-tip sensing becomes inevitable. The physical constraints of the machining process prohibit any reasonable implementation of a tool-tip motion measurement. It is proposed that the measured force normal to the face of the workpiece can be filtered through an appropriate admittance transfer function to result in the estimated dapth of cut. This can be compared to the desired depth of cut to generate the adjustment control action in additn to position feedback control. In this work, the design methodology on the admittance model-based control with a conventional controller is presented. The recursive least-squares algorithm with forgetting factor is proposed to identify the parameters and update the cutting process in real time. The normal cutting forces are measured to identify the cutting dynamics in the real diamond turning process using the precision dynamoneter. Based on the parameter estimation of cutting dynamics and the admitance model-based nanodynamic control scheme, simulation results are shown.

  • A musculotendon model is proposed to predict muscle force during muscle fatigue due to the continuous functional electrical stimulation(FES). Muscle fatigue dynamics can be modeled as the electrical admittance of muscle fibers and included in activation dynamics based on the{{{{ { Ca}^{2+ } }}}} kinetics. The admittance depends on the fatigue variable that monotonically increase or decrease if electrical pulse exists or not, and on the stimulation parameters and the number of applied pulses. In the response of the change in activation the normalized Hill-type contraction dynamics connected with activation dynamics decline the muscle shortening velocity and thus its force under muscle fatigue. The computer simulation shows that the proposed model can express the muscle fatigue and its recovery without changing any stimulation parameters.

Bandwidth Analysis of a Jerusalem AMC Based on Equivalent Circuit Model (등가회로 모델을 이용한 Jerusamel AMC의 이동통신 대역폭 해석)

  • The bandwidth of a Jerusalem AMC was investigated based on the equivalent circuit model. Using the circuit model and the derivative of the admittance(Y'), the relation between the bandwidth and various circuit parameters was analyzed. It was shown that the substrate thickness and permeability enhance the bandwidth whereas the loadings on FSS grid degrade the bandwidth. Among the two loadings, the capacitive loading had better bandwidth characteristics than the inductive loading. AMC with single polarization was suggested to relax the bandwidth degradation by the inductive loading.
