A Study on Construction Condition of Modular System by Structural Analysis of Construction Stage (시공단계 구조해석을 통한 적층형 모듈러주택의 시공조건 검토)

  • At present, the actual condition is that Korean modular structures are limited to a low rise detached house and military barracks. And there is no standardized structural design method of stacked modular structure. Accordingly, in general, they don't review impact force in the stage of stacking and installing a module, the effect which wind load has on a structure in the stage of lifting, and inertial force occurring in the stage of lifting or transporting a module in the process of constructing a structure. Therefore, this study investigated the construction method of modular system to be studied in stages, and decided on the position to which load was applied and boundary condition in structural analysis at each construction stage. Besides, inertial force according to each speed was calculated in the lifting and wheeled transport of module. And we calculated impact load according to lifting speed in module stacking and installation work and wind load due to instantaneous wind speed in the installation work by lifting. On the basis of the suggested method, in the modular system to be studied, it carried out review of structure by changing determining conditions of load being applied by construction stage, such as in the stage of lifting, in the stage of transport, and in the stage of installation, and drew construction conditions securing stability structurally.

Development of Optimum Construction Lift Operation System using Sensing Information for High-rise Building (센싱정보를 활용한 초고층 건설용 리프트 최적화 운행 시스템 개발)

  • As recent buildings have been more higher and larger, construction vertical lifting planning and operation is a key factor for successful project in tall building. Although many studies have been trying to set up a construction lifting planning system at early stage, there's not existing a control real-time lift operation control system with respect to during construction stage. Therefore, In this study, we use the sensor device to collect the lift operating data for improvement of lift operation efficiency and develope optimum lift operating system which can perform real-time analysis. Finally, we verify the efficiency of proposed system through comparison between realtime operating data and simulated data using proposing system. In this paper, the proposed system show more efficient moving line compared with previous system. This can contribute to development of unmanned lift system.

Development of a Real-time Lifting-path Tracking System of a Tower-crane for Steel Members based on an Integrated Wireless RF Modem and GPS System (무선 RF모뎀과 GPS를 통합한 타워크레인의 철골부재의 실시간 양중위치 추적시스템 개발)

  • Steel frame construction in high places entails many risk factors. In order to improve the safety and productivity of steel frame construction, a project to develop a robotic tower-crane has been undertaken. As the first step, a real-time lifting-path tracking system is being developed. In a previous study, a laser-based tracking system was proposed. While a laser-based tracking system requires at least three laser sensors to detect the x, y, z coordinates of a lifted steel member, a GPS-based system has an advantage over the laser-based system, in that the x, y, z coordinates of a lifted steel member can be detected by a single GPS sensor. To improve the accuracy, arelative positioning method using two GPS sensors was proposed in a previous study. This paper reports an improved GPS-based lifting-path tracking system of a tower crane based on an integrated RF modem and GPS system. The results showedthat the RF modem could successfully send the identifier information to a server a maximum distance of 1 km away from the lifted steel beam, and the lifting path information of each beam captured by the GPS-based tracking system was successfully saved together. Also, byusing an improved algorithm for the GPS relative positioning method, the deviation was reduced to 0.61 m on average.

  • It is critical to select the appropriate type of tower cranes for the construction of super tall buildings. However the selection is often made based on subjective personal experiences due to the lack of historical and analytical data. As a result, planning mistakes and efficiency errors sometimes occur. This research is to develop a system of hoisting analysis for appropriate tower crane selection and to provide a flexible statistical model based on the Burj Dubai project. In addition, this system hassupporting functions that can estimate the target construction period per floor, and a decision-making construction period computation method which is based on the characteristic of the selected tower cranes.

  • This study was performed to develop the lifting pallets for the application of smart skin system when remodeling the balcony of apartment house. For this purpose, the smart skin system based on IoT, combining window, BIPV, ESS, air purifier applied in this study was examined. The study developed and presented a foldable double pallet considering the load (about 2Ton) and specification (width 7m × height 2.6m × width 1.3m) of the smart skin system. In future research, it is necessary to verify the application of the foldable pallet in this study.

A Decision-Making Model of Integrated Vertical and Horizontal Move Plan for Finishing Material in Righ-Rise Building Construction (고층건물공사 마감자재의 수직$\cdot$수평이동계획이 통합된 의사결정모델)

  • Of all the site logistics technologies in high-rise building construction, both vertical and horizontal move plan, are the most imperative factors. And the horizontal plan follows lift-up plan as of the vertical plan. However though it may be, temporary lifts on site are numbered by heuristic formulas. The quantity of finishing material cannot be converted into lift-up load per finishing material. The lift-up plan cannot be evaluated the feasibility for finishing material move plan by a reasonable evaluation methodology. The horizontal plan is far from the vertical one. And the information as an input data for the horizontal plan is devoid of package unit size, length, and volume per finishing material. These can hardly result in reasonable and detail decision on how much to use temporary lifts, how long to use these, and where to deposit each finishing material. Therefore, this study is to suggest a decision-making model that can integrate vertical and horizontal material move plan in high-rise building construction and make a decision the plans systematically. And the study is to explain the concept, methodology, and contents of the model applied to a virtual project, named as MT 130 (Millennium Tower 130). By the model, the planner can shift his/her thinking framework on site logistics management products-oriented Into process-oriented. He/she can manage a project by the framework as system thinking, evaluate the feasibility of a lift-up plan, and decide the horizontal plan integrated with the lift-up.

  • There are many problems in management of high-rise building construction performed in downtown area due to limited spaces and equipments for increasing kinds and quantities of material. By these restrictions, problems such as increase of construction cost. delay of construction period, decrease of productivity, occurrence of accident are caused. Recently, studies on JIT concept have focused on construction materials as a solution for the problems. But, studies about finishing material are insufficient yet. Accordingly, this study suggests flowing of current material management, JIT management effect, and development direction of lifting-up and procurement system with Low-emissivity double Glazing, among of main finishing materials.
