  • The purpose of this paper was to address the methodology of the air flow measurement using duct mach number that was considered area-weighed average obtained by total, static pressure and temperature measured at engine inlet duct. Without installing boundary rake, the prediction of air flow measurement was discussed. Actual air flow measurement and pressure value using pressure loss through inlet seal were described to improve the reliability and operability of altitude engine test facility.

  • Hypersonic engine test facility with ejector system was tested. Ejector system was designed by revised EJSIMP code. The performance of the ejector system was predicted by numerical analysis. As a result, ejector system satisfied the facility design requirement. Based on the pressure level, the facility was successfully started at Mach 3.5 and 20km altitude condition.

  • 경험적으로 방법에 의존해온 대형 진동햄머다짐의 영향심도를 평가하고자 수치해석적인 기법을 사용하였다. 수치해석적인 기법을 사용하였다. 수치해석에 사용한 프로그램은 범용 유한요소 해석프로그램인 ABAQUS이며, 인천 신공항 매립지에서 시험 시공한 대형 진동햄머다짐의 자료와 수치해석한 결과의 비교를 통해 검증하였다. 수치해성에 사용한 물성은 현장시험과 실내시험을통해 구하였으며 영향깊이는 지반이 동적 하중에 변형할 때 소산하는 소성변형율에너지량의 분포를 판정하였다. 수치해석결과 소성변형율에너지 소산량의 시간에 따른 변화로부터 다짐의 영향깊이 및 수평영향거리를 추정할 수 있었다. 소성변형율에너지 수렴시의 외부에너지를 Menard의 경험식에 적용할 경우 영향깊이를 판정할 수 있음을 알았다. 따라서 Menardtlr으로부터 영향깊이를 다짐하는데 필요한 최소한의 에너지를 구할수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Development of Optimum Nutrient Solution for Dill (Anethum graveolens L.) in Hydroponics (딜의 수경재배에 적합한 배양액 개발)

  • This experiment was conducted to determine the mineral absorption character and develop the optimum composition of nutrient solution for dill(Anethum graveolens L.) in hydroponics. Dill(Anethum graveolens L.) plants were grown in nutrient film technique(NFT) supplied with 1/4, 1/2, and 1 strength of the nutrient solution developed by National Research Station in Japan(HRS). Plants grown in 1/2 strength showed the best growth in plant height, fresh weight, and dry weight compared with those grown in 1/4 or 1 strength. In 1/2 strength solution, pH and EC changed little and proper nutrient contents were observed in the leaves as compared to plant nutrient diagnosis standard. Based on these results, optimum macronutrients were composed by nutrient- water absorption rate(n/w) with 1/2 strength: NO$_2$―N 8.85, NH$_4$―N 0.55, P 2.1, K 6.2, Ca 2.8, and Mg 1.7 me L$^{-1}$ To examine the suitability of the nutrient solution developed(SCU) , dill plants were grown in NFT supplied with two different kinds of solution and concentration. 1/2, 1, 3/2 and 25 of SCU and 1/2S of HRS. Changes of pH and EC were not distinct in 1S, but a significant change of pH was shown in low concentrations-HRS 1/2S and SCU 1/2S. Shoot fresh and dry weight were much higher in the plants grown in SCU IS as compared with HRS 1/2S. There were no significant differences in growth of plants grown in SCU IS, 3/2S, and 25. In addition, nutrient contents in the leaves grown by SCU 1S were in proper levels as compared with plant nutrient diagnosis standard. SCU 1S developed in this experiment was found to be optimum for dill in hydroponics.

  • 이륙중량 4000kg, 10-12인승급 다목적 헬리콥터에 적용가능한 엔진 개량 개발을 목표로 기존 헬리콥터 엔진을 개량대상으로 선정하고 이러한 다목적 헬기의 요구조건에 부합하기 위해 기존 엔진의 요소부품을 재설계하였다. 첫 단계로 최소변경으로 720 hp에서 840 hp로 출력을 증강시키기 위하여 2단 축류압축기의 기존 입구 유도익을 제거하고 익현의 길이를 증가하여 유량 및 압축비를 증가시킴으로써 출력 증강을 얻도록 재설계를 수행하였다. 이러한 2단 축류압축기의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 두 번째 단 단독시험 및 전체 2단에 대한 성능시험이 수행되었으며 첫 번째 단의 성능은 이 결과로부터 도출되었다. 성능시험결과 전체 2단 압축기는 유량 3.088 kg/s에서 압력비 2.14, 단열효율 88%의 성능을 갖는 것으로 나타났으며 압축기 출구의 압력 및 온도 분포를 레이크를 이용하여 측정하였다.

  • Storage air heater(SAH) is a general purpose facility that is used to simulate the high altitude condition of supersonic ground test facility, thurst compensation test of rocket engine nozzle and gas turbine engine combustor test. SAH in KARI is built to simulate the total temperature of the supersonic ground test facility which has a wide flight envelope from altitude 0km, Mach 2 to altitude 25km, Mach 5 and operates up to 1300K, 3.5MPa. In this paper, we introduces the SAH in JAXA which is model of SAH in KARI and summarizes the design process and manufacture of ours.

  • A 100kW class gas turbine combustor was developed and tested for PPU(Primary Power Unit) of ground vehicle. The combustor which employed annular-reverse type and pressure swirl atomizer was designed through 1-D analysis, 3-D thermal flow analysis and combustor performance was experimentally investigated on the combustor test rig. The test result was satisfactory. The developed combustor was also tested for environmental and endurance specification under engine adopted conditions and the application of a state-of-the-art gas turbine combustor to ground vehicle PPU turned out to be successful.

  • 혹한기 시설오이 재배시 저지온으로 인해 모의 활착지연, 양수분흡수 불량에 따른 생육부진으로 출하시기가 늦어질 뿐 아니라, 품질 및 초기 수량이 저하되고 있다. 일부농가에서 양열과 전열선을 이용하여 지온을 상승시키고 있으나, 이들 방법은 적정 지온유지 및 실용성에 있어서 여러가지 문제점이 따른다. 따라서 본시험에서는 온수지중가온방법을 도입하여 지온상승을 도모하였다. (중략)
