As the attitudes toward women is ambivalent (both hostile and ambivalent), people have a tendency to have ambivalent attitudes toward men. Despite conflicts between men and women caused by misogyny and misogyny have recently worsened in a Korean society, most of previous Korean studies have focused on the attitudes toward women. In addition, there has been no scale to measure such ambivalent attitudes toward men in Korea. Therefore, this study was designed to translate and validate the Ambivalence toward Men Inventory, a scale developed and currently utilized in the United State. Sample 1 (183 college students), sample 2 (300 college students), and sample 3 (317 adults) were used. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses resulted in 16 items and 2 factors. The tests of convergent and concurrent validity revealed strong evidence for the validity of the Korean version of the Ambivalence toward Men Inventory and the reliabilities of the two factors were .830~.917.

Objective: The purpose of this research is to develop an intergenerational ambivalence scale which can measure the intergenerational relationship between middle-aged married couples and their mothers/mother-in-law. Method: The initial items were selected by reviewing the previous research and literature. To test validity and reliability, 222 middle-aged married couples who were residing in Seoul or the Gyeonggi area were selected. Results: The results of the research are as follows: 1) the scale was the total of 26 items consisting of two sub-factors of 14 positives and 12 negatives from the analysis of content validity, construct validity, and convergent validity, 2) the reliability of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ were from .90 to .94 which showed a high degree of internal consistency. Conclusions: The intergenerational ambivalence scale developed is expected to serve as a useful tool for those who study the intergenerational relationship and work on the ground to measure people's intergenerational dynamics.

The purpose of this study was to examine the ambivalence of adult children to their elderly parents. 410 adult children who married and having alive mother or father were included. First, direct measurement for asking ambivalence was developed and the relationship between direct and indirect measurements of ambivalence was tested. Next, the influences of parental, children, and relational characteristics on ambivalence were examined. Nine items were selected as direct measurement of ambivalence through the exploratory factor analysis and item response theory. The relationship between direct measure and indirect measure was from .543(p<.000) to r=.625(p<.000) based on gender and generation. The effects of indirect ambivalence on conflict was bigger than direct one for both sons and daughters and the influences of direct measurement on intimacy and relational satisfaction were bigger than indirect one. In case of sons, caregiving obligation was the biggest predictor on ambivalence for mothers and value differences was on ambivalence for fathers. For daughters, age of self was the biggest predictor on ambivalence for mothers and age of fathers was the one for fathers. These results were discussed on the meanings of ambivalence for elderly mothers and fathers in Korea comparing with Chinese and Western cultures.

The purpose of this article is to shed light on the position and the importance of sijo (Korean traditional poetic form of Three-Line Stanzas) of the Korean poet Park Jae-sam among Korean sijo writers. Even though Park Jae-sam started his career as a poet writing two sijos and a poem, he began to write more poems than sijos later on. Anyway his interest in sijo writing has continued and he has served as a judge of sijo writing contests ever since. Especially in 1985, he published a collection of sijo. And each sijo writing in this collection are composed of three-line stanzas and each stanza of three lines. And each line has a rhythmic sound with a formal word formation. This article reveals that Park Jae-sam has pursued a happy unity of form and content in his sijo writings from the collection and that he has tried his hardest to realize this goal. This article notes that for this goal he puts stress on some methods of creating poetic images and the process of creating new ideas, the unity of Koreans's unique emotion of han(恨) and a sense of eternity, transcendence through ambivalent emotions, and the structure of statement mainly made of juxtaposed metaphors. And this articles also notes that as a most sincere lyric poet in the history of sijo he is much distinguished from other Korean poets in that he depicts mainly Koreans's unique emotions and their characteristics.

The study explored the association between narcissism and sexual dating violence, and how ambivalent sexism affects the relation. Additionally, this study investigated if there exists gender difference in the relations between factors of narcissism and sexual dating violence, and the mediating effects of ambivalent sexism. Based on 200 participants(100 males and 100 females), the mediation effect of ambivalent sexism on the relation between narcissism and sexual dating violence was examined. For male participants, the mediation effect of hostile sexism on the relation between narcissism and sexual dating violence was significant, whereas for female participants the mediation effect of benevolent sexism on the relation between narcissism and sexual dating violence was significant. Different patterns were evident regarding the associations between factors of narcissism and sexual dating violence. For males, the more with exhibitionism and entitlement, the more with hostile sexism, and the more with sexual dating violence. For females, the more with exhibitionism, entitlement, and self-sufficiency, the more with benevolent sexism, and the more with sexual dating violence. The study revealed that the mediation effect of ambivalent sexism between narcissism and sexual dating violence differed by gender and by factors of narcissism. Finally, preventions measures for sexual dating violence were discussed.

2 ply laminated composite is regarded to simulate the interply behavior of the belt layer of the tire. It was cone with 3 dimensional FE(Finite Element) analysis to determine interply shear stress and strain. Widthwise, the shear strain was measured by the pin method. These results are compared with those of CLT(classical lamination theory) in center region and those of Kassapoglou's and Kelsey's theory in edge region. In the FE analysis. rubber is assumed as linear elastic material. and rubber/cord laminate as the orthotropic material composed of cord and rubber In the FE result, interlaminar shear stress causing the interlaminar delamination has the largest value in the edge region of the inner rubber layer. Numerical results obtained coincides with CLT well in the center region, and agrees with other theoretical result little in the edge region.

This study explored the effects of maternal ambivalence over emotional expressiveness (AEE) and mother-adolescent communication on adolescent depression (depressed affect, positive affect, somatic symptoms and activity inhibition, interpersonal difficulties). Data were taken from 233 middle school students (128 boys, 105 girls) and their mothers. Regression analyses showed varying gender differences in the relationships among these variables. Boys with high maternal AEE had lower positive affect, and higher depressive affect, somatic symptoms and activity inhibition, and interpersonal difficulties, whereas girls' moods were not influenced by maternal AEE. In addition, boys with problems in mother-dolescent communication exhibited lower positive affect, higher depressed affect and interpersonal difficulties, but open communication was not related to any depressive symptoms. The mother-adolescent communication type did not appear to be associated with depression in girls either. Both boys and girls both had less open communication and more problem communication with mothers experiencing high AEE. Problem communication with mothers partially mediated the relationship between maternal AEE and interpersonal difficulties in boys only. Examination of maternal ambivalence over emotional expressiveness provides a deeper context for our understanding of negative family communication patterns and the psychological consequences, especially in mother-adolescent boy dyads.

The purpose of this study was to explore natural groupings among adults based on gender role conflict, ambivalent sexism and aggression, and find differences in their acceptance of rape myths. 372 male and female adults in the Daegu and Gyeongsang province were surveyed and 350 were analyzed on their gender role conflict, ambivalent sexism, aggression and acceptance of rape myths. The cluster analysis divided participants into sub-groups such as 'unaggressive but conflicted about gender stereotypes', 'receptive to adaptive gender notions ' and 'compliant to aggressive gender stereotypes'. The sub-groups had differing levels of gender, age and education. There were differences in acceptance of rape myths among these groups, Post-hoc testing showed that the 'compliant to aggressive gender stereotype' subgroup showed the highest level of acceptance of rape myths, following by 'unaggressive but with gender stereotype conflicts' and 'receptive of adaptive gender notions'. Finally, needs for assessing individual characteristics according to their subgroup types and developing psychoeducational programs focused on the subgroup characteristics were addressed. Then, recommendations for future study were discussed.

This study was conducted to find out the psychosocial-demographic factors affecting the ambivalent sexism and attitudes toward homosexuality of school health teachers. The data were collected from December 1^st to 31^st, 2019 by administering a structured online questionnaire for 138 school health teachers in S city. The data were analyzed via SPSS/WIN (25.0) to run Kruskal-Wallis 𝑥² test, Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman's rank correlation, and Stepwise multiple regression. The results showed that the influential factors on the hostile sexism include authoritarian personality, age, extrinsic religious orientation, and education. Compared to this, the benevolent sexism had the influential factors of authoritarian personality, age, and education. The influential factors to the attitudes toward homosexuality found to include authoritarian personality, whether or not have a religion, and intrinsic/extrinsic religious orientation. School health teachers affect the educational experiences of students of their gender stereotyping and prejudice in the school environments. Therefore, it is needed to establish and provide training programs for school health teachers so that they can have reflections on their gender perspectives themselves, which may lead to true educational changes based on gender equality.

This study is the first ever attempted series paper of one particular TV drama writer, Su-Hyeon Kim, with diversified and systematic scale. Along with the just before study, proving Su-Hyeon Kim's line's conceptual properties as the Bahktin's dialogism, its core of polyphony, this study is to analyze the concrete method of creation through Bahktin's Canivalistic creation component of 'Grotesque Realism' and 'Unofficial Square Language'. With her work of (SBS, 1992), this study verifies its characteristic creation of lines to be the 'Grotesque Realism' components of overturn, destruction, and creation along with 'Unofficial Square Language' components of the masses, material, physical language, and discourse of self-liberation. In this way, this study is on one hand, to overcome the application problem of Bahktin's theory as a separated one, but also to enhance the quality of the study of the writer and the lines. As a result, she has acquired her own distinction of ambivalence by the way of demotion, overturn with masses' material, physical, unofficial square language along with a stronger execution of acquiring self denial, positivity. liberation, and life. Therefore the writer is highly rated for her fierce cognition of language and her artistic spirit. Also, this paper proposes the following study to appraise the impact of the writer's differentiation and artistic spirit on the creation of Korean TV drama, contents industry, and mass media.
