A Design of Open GIS Compliant Object Web (개방형 GIS 표준에 따른 오브젝트 웹 시스템 설계)

  • To meet the interoperability requirements associated with geospatial data access and geoprocessing, much efforts to design prototypical systems conforming to $OpenGIS^{TM}$ specification has been made. With respect to Object Web GIS, however, current internet mapping technology mainly focuses on either developing mapping libraries or client applications regardless of the future needs for interoperability such as an integration of $OpenGIS^{TM}$ standard for CORBA. In this paper, we propose an $OpenGIS^{TM}$ compliant mapping kernel. OpenViews, which is designed to meet those requirements. The kernel of OpenViews encapsulates the process of acquiring geospatial data in the format of $OpenGIS^{TM}$ Geometry through ORB(Object Request Broker). OpenViews, being designed based on well-known design patterns, is a highly extensible in that programmers can easily customize it on the object oriented architecture. The components implemented in OpenViews are CORBA/Java objects, and as such are portable and scalable in a networked environment. A companion package, OpenBroker, is also developed as a portable geoprocessing application server to facilitate the implementation and configuration of server side CORBA objects. It can be used for implementing objects for spatial analysis service which would be independent of legacy spatial database systems in many cases. OpenViews, together with OpenBroker, has been successfully prototyped using the technologies including EJB and servlet as the core components of an Open GIS compliant internet mapping.

  • As Internet advances, websites with simpel HTML pages are changing to complex web application systems with enormous contents and various services. With this trend, it is noted that situations where Web accessibility of the old and the handicapped is inhibited are growing. To solve this problem, The Disability Discrimination Act has been enacted since April 2013. This act triggers massive website reorganization efforts. However, in order for the huge and sophisticated web applications and web sites to ensure a web accessibility, a framework is required to throughout the web site development. Based on thorough review of website development methodologies, web accessibility compliance standards, and various web accessibility issues related to website characteristics, this study proposes a practice oriented "Web Accessibility Compliance Framework". The current study also examines the usefulness and value of this framework by applying it to the internet banking development project of W bank and receiving a certificate for high quality website complying web accessibility standards.

  • Recently, sudden interests of mobile cloud computing as well as conventional internet environment are rapidly increased as cloud computing spread out in our web society. Mobile devices including smart phone are rapidly changing in a wholesale way that covers hardwares, applications, and services. However, the Internet access using mobile device is not quite smooth in this local mobile internet environment which suffers from lack of understanding and observance of Web Standards. Although most of domestic web sites are developed focusing on various functions and eye-catching designs, this should became one of the main factors that make the usability and accessability decrease when accessing web with smart phones or table PCs. Therefore, this paper suggested a web interface that considered usability and accessability under mobile cloud environment and we tried to prove it via usability test. It could be found that there was an improvement of usability of interface of the main page that has been optimized to the mobile device environment suggested from the previous research we present, but this paper aimed to prove a usability improvement of total website as a whole by performing the usability test on the entire website. Selecting a special website optimized for mobile cloud computing, we prove an improvement of usability and accessibility. Therefore, we offer a guideline about user interface design applications to developers or companies who want to construct mobile website.

A Study on the Influence of Augmented Reality Experience in Mobile Applications on Product Purchase (모바일 어플리케이션의 증강현실 이용경험이 제품구매에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • As a marketing method in a non-face-to-face society, the purpose of this study is to test how AR experience affects purchase intention in the process of consumers recognizing product information to purchase products and to secure the basis for the effectiveness of developing and introducing augmented reality functions in future product brand applications. Literary research methods and empirical research methods were used to verify the research purpose, and to measure this, an application of domestic tableware brand 'Odense', which implements augmented reality functions, was produced and used as an experimental tool. Also, a direct causal relationship was attempted by constituting a questionnaire by deriving a measurement scale for perceived usefulness, perceived ease, perceived pleasure, and purchase, which are factors of technology acceptance theory (TAM), and empirical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 25.0 statistical package to achieve the purpose of the study. As a result of the study, significant results were derived from all factors in the effect of perceived usefulness, ease, and pleasure on purchase intention, and several significant differences were found among factors according to gender, age, and internet shopping usage time in general characteristics. In conclusion, the user experience of the medium in which the augmented reality function is introduced in the information recognition stage of the product has a positive effect on purchase compared to the user experience of existing applications.

  • Recently, the time in which children moves by car become frequent, they stay longer in the car because leisure life including camping and etc. increased. Children whose physical activities are active were subject to restriction because of the limited car boarding visual space and on security. Because of limited space in cars, domestic and foreign automotive companies show the different glass roof applied in cars that exhibited wide clear view in order to remove tedious and stuffy of children while they stay for a long time inside the car. In addition, the potential probability in which the Smart Car that the IT technology is grafted research and research that it utilizes the door window glass as the display is progressed and which the glass roof can be used as the screen can be sufficient. In this study, the in-vehicle display application case and Smart Devices constellation application were benchmarked. The car glass roof application method of the constellation studying content which performed the user survey for the child by the car with the parents whose movement is frequent and considers the child and fundamental interaction way tried to be drawn and we try to propose.

  • The game industry using Smart phones and related market is rapidly growing every year and a graphical view of the game fun and games player is in a diverse environment improvement. Game visuals in the design of the application of the user's perspective, very simple tricks, unlike such as the game's environment is pc, but more sophisticated and to improve the quality of the game, planning is required. Ranking the top rankings, game downloads this study, therefore, has recently structured questionnaire based on the case in existing research conducted a survey. The surveyed more than 200 million people downloaded the Onmyoji game users in China was limited to the preferences of each gui survey analyzed. Preference shown in graphic identify success factors should be improved to lighting of the basic elements of design / ux ui and applications should be taken into account when designing the game.   • This project has been conducted to improve the usability of Chatbot Services such as Google(Allo) and Facebook M(Messenger. Based on the evaluation, this study aims to suggest the solutions to improve the usability of domestic Chatbot services and future directions for their development. It provides the overall understanding of the AI Chatbot service and the feature of Chatbot service through literature search. Furthermore, we summarized the current standing and the prospect of domestic messenger-based assistant Chatbot services. For conducting user evaluation, Peter Morville's honeycomb model is applied to in-depth user interviews. The followings are elements that could be amended to improve the service. The service should be incorporated by intuitive elements for users' understanding its functions and eliminate any elements that interfere with usability. The accuracy should be increased to improve the user satisfaction. This research will provide the future guidelines to improve the usability of Chabot services through continuous evaluation by users.

  • This paper presents an IoT platform of common interfaces that are flexible IoT applications and Connect the smart devices. The IoT platform includes automatic collaboration discovery the smart Device. It is different things case with connection each device through IoT Platforms are each device and application service. Due to these heterogeneities, it is quite advantages to develop applications working with derived IoT services. This circumstance needs the generic interface and results in a range of IoT architectures by not only the environments settings and discovery resource but also varied uniqe to implementation services working with IoT applications. Therefore, this suggestion of solve the problems and make it possible independent platforms always alive to connection with each devices based on the generic interface. The generic interface is heterogeneity-driven solve the problems and effectively contributions a platform that could be operated in diverse IoT Platforms.

Proposal on the Improvement Direction of Web App Development lecture for Non-IT majors

  • In this paper, I analyze the difficulties of web service development education for non-IT majors through the Q&A of students posted in the k-mooc lecture, and propose methods to improve them. Through Q&A analysis, it was confirmed that non-majors mainly had difficulties in using unfamiliar tools, cost of cloud service, setting up server environment, and writing code while taking web service development courses. To solve this problem, I propose a method to reduce the server cost problem and the complexity of the server environment by using BaaS(Backend as a Service), which is one of the cloud service models. It also shows that it is possible to reduce the length of code that needs to be written at once by using the React library to modularize long code into smaller units. Finally, I propose an improvement plan that even non-IT majors can easily learn by implementing a web application that works by using the design output obtained by using Figma.

  • The emergence of digital media has enabled visitors' active intervention based on the existing art information archiving. Accordingly, this study was conducted to analyze how archiving data that art museums have developed so farcan be provided significantly to visitors and generate a contemporary appreciation code. This study intended to solve the problems in case study analysis through the restructuralization of information that reflected visitors' appreciation activities as the principal agent. The structure of information, which was reframed for multilayered information approach and use by keyword, is meaningful as it has developed an information structure to mainly enhance visitors' understanding. It is expected that the use of art information proposed in this study will be helpful for setting the specific direction of actual transmedia storytelling service by art museums based on web later on.
