의료용 초음파프로브의 압전소자 결함이 과도음장과 B-모드 영상에 미치는 영향 (Influences of the Defective Piezo-Elements of a Medical Ultrasonic Probe on Transient Acoustic Fields and B-Mode Images)

  • 전체 192개의 압전소자 중 64개를 동시 구동하여 빔을 형성하는 중심주파수 3.5 MHz인 선형배열 의료용 초음파프로브를 대상으로 일부의 압전소자가 결함으로 인해 동작하지 않을 때의 과도음장 및 점 표적에 대한 초음파 B-모드 영상을 시뮬레이션하여 정상 초음파프로브의 것과 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 결함소자의 수가 한 개에서 네 개로 증가함에 따라 주엽이 만드는 음장의 최대음압준위 및 그 -3 dB 폭은 정상일 때에 비해 선형적으로 감소하나, 초점심도는 거의 변화가 없고, 부엽에 의한 음장의 음압준위 상승으로 인해 주엽과 부엽과의 음압 차이는 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이와 같은 음압준위의 변화는 점 표적에 대한 B-모드 영상에 영향을 주어 표적의 좌우에 허상을 만들며, 축 방향의 공간분해능은 거의 일정하나 측 방향으로는 다소 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • This paper presents active vibration control scheme of multi-mode forced vibration using piezocetamic sensors and actuators. The control scheme adopted is the Positive Position Feedback (PPF) control. Among various vibration control techniques. PPF control technique makes use of generalized displacement measurements to accomplish the vibration suppression. Two independent controllers are implemented to control the first and the second modes of the beam under external excitation. Experimental results for various damping ratios and feedback gains of the PPF controllers are compared with respect to the contorl efficiency. The results indicate that steady state vibration under wide band excitation can be controlled effectively when multiple sets of PZT sensors and actuators were used with PPF control technique.

  • In this study, dynamic characteristics of an end-capped hull structure with surface bonded piezoelectric actuators are studied. Finite element modeling is used to obtain practical governing equation of motion and boundary conditions of smart hull structure. Modal analysis is conducted to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the hull structure. Piezoelectric actuators are attached where the maximum control performance can be obtained. Active controller based on Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) theory is designed to suppress vibration of smart hull structure. It is observed that closed loop damping can be improved with suitable weighting factors in the developed LQG controller.

Characteristics of MFC(macro fiber composite) actuator are investigated by comparing traditional piezoceramic patch actuator. Finite element modeling is used to obtain equations of motion and boundary effects of smart hull structure with MFC actuator. Dynamic characteristics of the smart hull structure are studied through modal analysis and experimental investigation. LQG control algorithm is employed to investigate active damping of hull structure. It is observed that vibration of hull structure is suppressed effectively by the MFC actuators.

  • This work presents an active vibration control of a stiffened hull structure using a flexible macro fiber composite (MFC) actuator. As first step, the governing equation of the hull structure is derived in a matrix form and its dynamic characteristics such as natural frequency are obtained via a finite element analysis (FEA). The natural frequencies obtained from the FEA are compared with those determined from experimental measurement. After formulating the control model in a state space representation, an optimal controller is designed in order to attenuate the vibration of the stiffened hull structure. The controller is then empirically realized through dSPACE and control responses are evaluated in time domain.

  • This paper presents vibration control of an engine mount for a passenger vehicle utilizing ER fluid and piezoelectric actuator. The proposed engine mount can be isolated the vibration of wide frequency range with many types of amplitude. The main function of ER fluid is to attenuate vibration for low frequency with large amplitude, while the piezoelectric actuator is activated in hish frequency range with small amplitude. A mathematical model of the engine mount is derived using Hydraulic model and mechanical model. After formulating the governing equation of motion, then field-dependent dynamic stiffness of the engine mount is evaluated for various engine speed and excitation amplitude conditions. Then robust controller is designed to attenuate vibration of wide range frequency component. Computer simulation is undertaken in order to evaluate the vibration control performance such as transmissibility magnitude in frequency domains.

  • 최근, 압전 변압기 기술의 급속한 발전으로 권선형 변압기를 대체할 수 있는 다양한 분야에 응용되고 있다. 압전 변압기는 자계의 잡음이 없고, 크기가 소형화되며 고효율과 고전력 밀도, 누설자속이 없어 노이즈 발생이 없고, 공진주파수만을 이용하므로 출력파형이 정현파에 가까워 고조파 잡음이 없는 등 권선형 변압기에 비해서 여러 가지 장점을 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 87.2[KHz]정도의 스위칭 모드에서 두께진동 모드 적층형 압전 변압기를 이용하여 전기적인 등가회로를 적용하여 DC-DC컨버터를 동작 하였다. 또한 DC-DC컨버터를 제안된 회로에 의해서 구동 고휘도 LED 구동 전원장치로써의 가능성을 제시 하였다.

  • Homodyne 방식으로 동작하는 광섬유 간섭계 센서는 주위 온도의 변화나 진동등에 의하여 시노의 크기가 불규칙하게 변화된다. 따라서 광섬유 간섭계가 직작조건에서 동작하도록 하여 감도를 최대로 유지시켜야 한다. 본연구에서는 원통형 압전자소자에 단일모드 광섬유룰 감아서 변환율 K=1.07$\pi$/V의 위상변조기를 만들고, 이를 이용하여 능동위상추적(active phase tracking)방식의 신호안정화 장치를 제작하고 광섬유 간섭계 센서의 공기중 읍압반응을 조사하였다.
