O Analysis of Filament Wound Pressure Tank Considering Winding Angle Variation In Thickness Direction (두께 방향의 와인딩 각도 변화를 고려한 필라멘트 와인딩 된 압력탱크의 해석)

  • Filament wound pressure vessels have been studied for the efficient design tool to consider the variation of fiber angles through-the thickness direction. Filament winding patterns were simulated from semi-geodesic fiber path equation to calculate fiber path on arbitrary surface. Finite element analyses were performed considering fiber angle variation in longitudinal and thickness directions by ABAQUS. For the finite element modeling of the pressure tank, the 3-dimensional layered solid element was utilized. From the stress results of pressure tanks, maximum stress criterion in transverse direction was applied to modify material properties for failed region. In the end of each load increment, resultant layer stresses were compared with a failure criterion and properties were reduced to 1/10 for a failed layer. Results of progressive failure analysis were compared with two experimental data.

  • 대량생산체제로 제작되는 자동차용 변속기는 일단 양산에 돌입하고부터는 막대한 retooling비 용의 지불없이는 좀처럼 그 모양이나 중요설계치수가 변경될 수 없기 때문에, 초기설계단계에 서의 다양하고 신중한 고려가 그 후의 어느 단계보다 중요하다. 자동차용 변속기의 치차설계자는 치차상의 주어진 공간내에서 가장 튼튼하고 소리없는 치차를 설계하기 위하여 모듈(module), 압력각, 치깊이 등이 표준에서 벗어나는 특수 cutter를 사용하도록 요구할 수밖에 없다(이러한 비표준 cutter의 제작을 위해서는 다소 더 많은 시간과 경비가 소요될지 모르지만, 이 문제는 양산체제의 특수성 속에 충분히 소화흡수된다). 표준치차의 경우에는 대부분의 설계 데이터가 테 이블이나 그래프로 주어져 있지만 모듈, 압력각, 치깊이 등이 표준에서 벗어나는 치차에 있어서는 이것들을 별도로 계산하지 않으면 안된다. 더욱이 세계자동차 메이커가 소형화와 경량화로 치 닫고 있는 현 추세에 있어서는 더욱 정밀한 계산에 의한 데이터가 요구될 것이다. 본 보고서는 임의의 cutter를 사용하여 절삭한 치차의 fillet 부분에 있어서 fillet 곡선의 함수를 구하고 이 것으로부터 lewis방식의 굽힘강도계산식(대부분의 굽힘강도 계산식이 lewis 이론에 입각한 것이긴 하지만)에 사용되는 강도계 수를 approach 법으로 구하는 방법과 계산공식에 대하여 서술한 것이다. 여기서 취급하는 굴절법은 hobbing cutter 등에 의한 rack형 굴절법이다.

Effect of Injector Geometry on Cryogenic Jet Flow (극저온 제트 유동에 대한 분사기 형상의 영향)

  • Characteristics of cryogenic single jet flow were investigated. Liquid nitrogen was injected into a high-pressure chamber and formed single jet. Ambient condition around jet was changed from subcritical to superctirical condition of nitrogen. Injector geometries also were changed. A shape of the jet and core diameter were measured by flow visualization technique, and core spreading angle was calculated. Flow instability was found at atmospheric pressure condition. As ambient pressure increased, core spreading angle was increased and maintained after certain pressure.

  • A theoretical analysis is developed for an annular-injection-type supersonic ejector having a second-throat downstream the ejector under the assumption that the Fabri choking is placed in mixing chamber. Non mixing theory is applied to formulate secondary flow pressure in the region between inlet of the mixing chamber and Fabri choking. To describe the shock standing at the inlet of the mixing chamber, two dimensional oblique shock relations are used and it is assumed that the shock affects only primary flow at Fabri choking plane. Physical constraint, which is that primary flow pressure and secondary flow pressure are same at Fabri choking plane, is added. In conclusion, it agrees well with experiments in case of small contracting angle of mixing chamber, under 4degrees.

  • The shock structure of dual coaxial jet is experimentally investigated. Eight different kinds of coaxial, dual nozzles are employed to observe the major features of the near field shock structure on the supersonic, coaxial, dual jets. Four convergent-divergent supersonic nozzles having the Mach number 2.0 and 3.0 are used to compare the coaxial jet flows discharging from two sonic nozzles. The primary pressure ratio is changed in the range between 1.0 and 10.0, and the assistant jet ratio from 1.0 to 4.0. The results show that the impinging angle, nozzle geometry and pressure ratio significantly affect the near field shock structure, Mach disk location and Mach disk diameter.

  • In this study, flow characteristics and the starting pressure of a center body diffuser (CBD) were analyzed at various center body (CB) positions and cone angles. According to the CB position, the location of oblique shock moved to the front from behind the CB cone with an increase in the flow momentum. Additionally, when a strong oblique shock occurred, the direction of supersonic flow was affected and induced to diffuser wall. As a function of different cone angles for the oblique shock, the starting pressure of the CBD was significantly affected.

  • We have investigated the effects of sputtering Ar gas pressure on magnetic and magneto-optical properties in compositionally modulated Co/Pt superlattice thin films. The samples were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering. Sputtrering Ar gas pressure was varied from 2 to 30 mTorr. The microstructure of the samples was examined by scanning electron microscope and the x-ray diffractometry. The magnetization, the Kerr rotation angle, and the reflectivity of the samples were measured. The columnar structure was developed, and the coercivity was drasti- cally increased, when the sputtering Ar gas pressure was higher than 20 mTorr. We explained that the variation of the magnetization, the Kerr rotation angle, and the reflectivity was related with the microstructure influenced by the variation of the Ar gas pressure.

Experimental Analysis of Nodal Head-outflow Relationship Using a Model Water Supply Network for Pressure Driven Analysis of Water Distribution System (상수관망 압력기반 수리해석을 위한 모의 실험시설 기반 절점의 압력-유량 관계 분석)

  • For the analysis of water supply network, demand-driven and pressure-driven analysis methods have been proposed. Of the two methods, demand-driven analysis (DDA) can only be used in a normal operation condition to evaluate hydraulic status of a pipe network. Under abnormal conditions, i.e., unexpected pipe destruction, or abnormal low pressure conditions, pressure-driven analysis (PDA) method should be used to estimate the suppliable flowrate at each node in a network. In order to carry out the pressure-driven analysis, head-outflow relationship (HOR), which estimates flowrate at a certain pressure at each node, should be first determined. Most previous studies empirically suggested that each node possesses its own characteristic head-outflow relationship, which, therefore, requires verification by using actual field data for proper application in PDA modeling. In this study, a model pipe network was constructed, and various operation scenarios of normal and abnormal conditions, which cannot be realized in real pipe networks, were established. Using the model network, data on pressure and flowrate at each node were obtained at each operation condition. Using the data obtained, previously proposed HOR equations were evaluated. In addition, head-outflow relationship at each node was analyzed especially under multiple pipe destruction events. By analyzing the experimental data obtained from the model network, it was found that flowrate reduction corresponding to a certain pressure drop (by pipe destruction at one or multiple points on the network) followed intrinsic head-outflow relationship of each node. By comparing the experimentally obtained head-outflow relationship with various HOR equations proposed by previous studies, the one proposed by Wagner et al. showed the best agreement with the exponential parameter, m of 3.0.

  • 원자로용기의 노심대와 노즐의 압력 . 온도 곡선에 대한 배경 및 적용을 살펴보았다. 그러나 원 자로 용기의 실제 압력 . 온도 곡선은 노심대와 노즐 이외에도 플랜지, 수압 및 수밀시험, 노심 임계, 최저운전온도, 계기오차 등을 고려해야 한다. 이 글에서는 시간당 100.deg. F의 가열 및 냉 각에 대서만 고려하였으나 시간당 10.deg. F, 40.deg. F 등 다른 가열 및 냉각률에 대해서도 고 려하여야 한다. 따라서 원자로용기의 실제 압력 . 온도 곡선은 이 글에서 기술한 것보다 훨씬 복 잡하다. 그러나 어느 경우에라도 압력 . 온도 곡선을 구하는 기본적인 이론 및 방법은 이 글에서 기술한 내용에 기초를 두고 있다.

저어널베어링의 압력 및 온도분포에 관한 실험적 연구

  • 근래에 들어 축의 고속회전이 요구되고 윤활제로 물이나 액체금속과 같은 동점성계수가 낮은 윤활제가 사용됨에 따라 베어링내의 유동은 층류상태를 벗어난 난류상태에 이르고 있다. 이와같이 고속에서 사용되는 저어널베어링에서의 윤활제의 유동은 더욱 복잡하게 되어 이들에 대한 정확한 특성을 예측하기 위한 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 최근에는 열유체윤활에 대한 연구가 행하여지고 있으나 저어널베어링의 온도특성에 대한 실험적 연구는 부족한 상태이다. 그리고 저어널의 하중을 지지하는 유막내의 압력에 대한 실험을 보면 거의 베어링면에서 국부적으로 측정하므로 유막에서 발생하는 압력의 분포를 정확히 알기는 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 저어널의 중앙단면에 압력계를 부착하여 연속적인 압력분포를 측정하고 베어링내면의 온도분포를 측정하며 편심율과 위상각, 배유량을 측정하여 저어널베어링의 성능특성을 예측하기 위한 실험자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
