Changing Features of pH at the Cyclic Aggregate According to Mixing Ratio of Sodium Phosphate and Ammonium Chloride (인산나트륨과 염화암모늄의 혼입 비율에 따른 순환골재의 pH 변화특성)

  • Recycled aggregate used in a site is strong alkali due to calcium hydroxide attached on its surface. Accordingly, many environmental problems arise. Therefore, as basic research to reduce pH of recycled aggregate, this study tries to reduce the strong alkalinity of recycled aggregate by using mixture solution based on sodium phosphate and ammonium chloride. As a result, original aggregate has the strong alkalinity of pH 11.23, whereas pH of recycled aggregate immersed in mixture solution decreased as more mixture rate increased, and mostly pH 9.8 or less was found.

Ammonium Ion Effects and Its In Situ Removal by Using Immobilized Adsorbent in Hybridoma Cell Culture (하이브리도마 세포배양에서 암모늄 이온의 영향 및 고정화 흡착제에 의한 암모늄 이온의 동시제거)

  • The effects of ammonium ion on cell growth kinetics, monoclonal antibody productivity, and cell metabolism of hybridoma cells were investigated. The mouse-mouse hybridoma cell line VlIIH-8 producing mouse IgG2a was used as a model system. Ammonium ion showed an inhibitory effect on cell growth and monoclonal antibody production. New immobilized adsorbents were developed for the reduction of the inhibitory effect of ammonium ion. The ammonium ion selective zeolite, Phillipsite-Gismondine was entrapped in calcium alginate bead or in dialysis membrane and applied to the hybridoma cell culture system for the in situ removal of ammonium ion from culture media. The effects of ammonium the both serum supplemented and serum free media on the cell growth were studied by applying immobilized adsorbents of calcium alginate bead type. The results demonstrated a substantial enhancement in cell growth. Applying immobilized adsorbents of dialysis membrane type to serum supplemented media also resulted in the stimulation of cell growth, cell viability and monoclonal antibody production.

  • The thermal decomposition of phase stabilized ammonium nitrate(PSAN) was studied by means of thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). In this study, potassium nitrate and zinc oxide were used as the phase stabilizers in the range of contents from 0 wt.% to 8 wt.%. The kinetics and mechanism for the decomposition were evaluated using integral methods. It was found that the thermal kinetic parameters such as activation energy(I) and frequency factor(A) increase with the increase of the stabilizer contents, and the mechanism of decomposition also changes.

  • A simple and high yielding one-pot method for synthesis of 2,4,5-triarylimidazoles from condensation of benzoin or benzil, ammonium acetate and aromatic aldehydes using sulphanilic acid catalyst is described. The lower priced catalyst, higher yields and shorter reaction time are the advantages of the presented method.

  • Construction waste is recycled and used for the efficient and eco-friendly disposal of construction waste increasing due to reconstruction and redevelopment project and so on. There is recycled aggregate as a typical case. And this recycled aggregate shows strong alkalinity due to calcium hydroxide, and causes many environmental problems. Therefore, this is a study on reduction in the strong alkalinity of recycled aggregate by using phosphate of ammonium in order to reduce the pH of recycled aggregate. Besides, a possibility that a pH reducing agent of recycled aggregate could be applied to a site was evaluated. As a result, it was possible to verify that pH decreased as the percentage of pH reducing agent increased. It is thought that the pH reducing agent can be applied to a site by methods such as immersion and spray using the pH reducing agent in the process of producing recycled aggregates.

질소안정동위원소비를 이용한 농촌지역 지하수의 질산성질소 오염원 추정

  • 충청북도 증평에 위치한 문화마을 인근의 19개 지하수 관측정에서 시료를 채취하여 질산성질소 농도와 $\delta$$^{15}$ N 값, 암모니아성질소 농도와 $\delta$$^{15}$ N 값을 정량하였다. 그 결과 질산성질소에 의한 심각한 오염은 관찰되지 않으며, 질산성질소내 $\delta$$^{15}$ N이 +9.4~+36.8%0의 범위를 갖는 것으로 보아 계분이나 생활하수 혹은 두 가지 이상의 오염원이 동시에 작용함을 나타낸다. 연구지역의 $^{15}$ N 부화지수($\varepsilon$)은 -6.697%0로 탈질에 의한 범위를 만족한다. 암모늄의 질산화가 주요한 반응기작일 경우에 나타나는 암모늄 농도 감소에 따른 $^{15}$ N의 부화는 관찰할 수 없다.

  • Previous studies have confirmed the performance of pH reduction agents using liquid sodium phosphate based ammonium chloride as a pH reduction agent. In this study, the pH reduction performance considering economical and applicability as a practical stage and the property change analysis for the identification of the reaction mechanism of the pH reduction agent were carried out. As a result, the pH reduction performance at a low rate of the pH reducing agent was confirmed. The specific gravity of CaO decreased significantly after XRF analysis. It is also believed that this reduces the amount of Ca(OH)2 produced and contributes to pH reduction.

  • In the case of a metal sulfide electrode, it is used as an anode or cathode active material in a lithium battery. The reason is that the voltage exists between 0.8 and 2.0 V via lithium electrode and the discharge and charge capacity is high. In order to manufacture nickel sulfide for electrode, which are widely used, nano-nickel powder was sulfided using ammonium polysulfide, and single-phase NiS electrodes were manufactured through heat treatment. The prepared NiS electrode had a high initial capacity of 500 mAh/g or more, and was stabilized after 20 cycles to maintain a capacity of 400 mAh/g or more until 100 cycles.

  • 조연제종류 및 함량 변화가 궐련지의 연소성과 회색상에 미치는 영향을 연구한 결까 flax와 kenaf의 연소속도 띤 회고결성이 NBKP보다 양호하였으며 탄산칼숨 함량이 증가함에 따라 각 펄프 공히 연소속도는 빨라지나 회고결성은 저하되었다. 구연산·초산·주석산나트륨은 첨가량이 3%까지 증가되어도 연소속도에는 큰차가 없으나 4호이상부터 빨라지는경향이었다. 인산나트륨은 함량이 증가하면서 연소속봉는 늦어진 반면 회고결성은 양호해졌다. 구연산나트룸에 요소·푸말산나트륨·인산암모늄·인산·말레인산나트륨 및 guanyl urea phosphate를 첨가시 인산암모늄의 회죈변동율이 170%로 회고결성이 가장 양호하였으나 연소속도는 대체로 늦어지는 경향이다. 조연제의 함량이 증가함에 따라 회의 백색도는 55전후에서 30으로 감소하는 경향이다.
