Experimental Study on Hydrofoil Arrangement and Longitudinal Moment Characteristics for Navigation Safety of High Speed Craft (고속선 운항 안정성을 위한 수중익 배치 및 종모멘트 특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, we have discussed about the effect of hydrofoil arrangement and longitudinal moment characteristic on longitudinal motion stability of fully-submerged hydrofoil by the experiment of tandem hydrofoil model. First of all, tandem hydrofoil model that has canard wing arrangement has been made and characteristics of lift force and drag force by performing the lift force and drag force measuring experiment has also been estimated. Besides, tandem hydrofoil model's wing arrangement which has the initial stability and self stability of longitudinal motion has also been determined. In longitudinal stability experiment of tandem hydrofoil model, the motion characteristic of pitch and heave and the longitudinal stability of foil borne condition by variation of self stability of longitudinal moment and longitudinal distance are estimated. The result from the experiment and it's important conclusion can be described as below; Increase the self stability for longitudinal moment, the higher self stability for pitch motions in a constant pitch angles. By increasing the self stability for longitudinal moment, the range of fluctuation of pitch motion and heave motion for pitch angle also will change relatively small and longitudinal stability is excellent. Lastly, when the lift force of hydrofoil is remain constants, we can conclude that securing the enough self stability for longitudinal moment is essential for stable foil borne condition of tandem hydrofoil.

  • 본고에서는 상태평균화법의 일반적인 성질을 설명하고, 여러종류의 콘버어터회로중 가장 안정성에 뛰어난 전류환류형회로에 적용시킴으로서 그 기본특성을 명확히 하며, 이 외에 강압형, 승압형, 승강압형의 전형적인 회로에 적용시킨 결과를 정리하여 명시하고 비교고찰함으로서 상태평균화법이 통일적인 해석에 적합한 해석법이란 점을 기술하였다.

  • 압축가스를 이용하여 추진제를 액체 로켓 엔진에 공급하는 경우, 공급압력은 정상 연소상태의 연소압을 기준으로 하여 설계한다. 그러나 연소초기의 연소실 압력은 대기압 상태이므로 과도한 유량이 공급되어 이로 인해 hard-start 가 발생하며, 최악의 경우 엔진의 파손을 가져온다.

  • Cable-stayed bridges are more inherently vulnerable to wind during the erection stages than when they are already being used. Even if a bridge that is already being used is aerodynamically stable, it is prone to having aerodynamic instabilities within the design wind speed during construction. Therefore, when the bridge's designers deliberate on the method they will use in constructing the bridge, they must likewise come up with a suitable plan to ensure the stability of the bridge during its erection (e.g., conducting a wind-tunnel investigation). This paper describes the aeroelastic full-bridge model tests that were conducted to investigate the aerodynamic behavior of the bridge during erection, with emphasis on aerodynamic stability and the mitigation of the buffeting response through temporary stabilization. The aerodynamic performance of a cable -stayed bridge with a main span of 50 m was studied in its completed stage and in two erection stages, corresponding 50% and 90% completion, respectively. In the 50% erection stage tests, a balanced cantilever configuration, with wind cable and temporary support at the tower, was conducted. The system that was determined to be most effective in reducing wind action on the bridge during construction was proposed in the paper, based on the results of the comparative study that was conducted.

  • The stability of slurry trench system is closely associated with the characteristics of the filter cake (assumed impervious membrane) transferring the hydrostatic force of slurry to the trench walls. The effectiveness of this assumption in a wide range of trench systems has been examined with the aid of a Finite Element program. Build up of excess porewater pressure in the soil mass behind the filter cake is a function of the slurry density, the properties of filter cake, the ground conditions, time, the geometry of trench and the original ground water level. These factors were all investigated by the Finite Element Method. The most significant factors were found to be the ground conditions and the properties of filter cake.

  • 고압 방전 램프는 점등 후부터 정상상태에 이르기까지 방전관 내부의 온도 및 압력이 광범위하게 변화하는 복잡한 동작 특성으로 모델링이 어렵다. 이러한 특성은 램프를 구동하는 안정기의 설계에 어려움이 따른다. 램프의 구동에는 초기 점화 시 높은 점화용 전압 펄스를 필요로 한다. 점화 후에 정상상태에 다다르면 램프 전극의 소모를 줄이기 위해 교류로 구동되어야 한다. 하지만 램프를 교류로 구동하게 되면 음향 공진 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 음향 공진 현상은 램프 구동 전류의 맥동성분이 큰 경우에도 발생을 할 수 있으므로 구동 전류의 맥동 성분의 크기는 최소화 돼야 한다. 램프의 수명시간을 길게 하려면, 안정기는 램프를 정격전력으로 구동하여야 한다. 따라서 안정기에서는 정전력 제어가 필요하게 된다. 램프 전류의 극성이 변화할 때, 램프 전류는 spike전류와 중첩이 된다. 본 논문에서는 spike 전류를 저주파구형파 램프 전류의 포락범위 안에 유지하고, 고주파 스위칭시손실을 줄이기 위해 소프트 스위칭 기법을 이용한 회로 설계를 제안했다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션 및 이론적 수식적 방법으로 검증 했다.

  • This paper is concerned with the observer design problem for linear neutral systems with time-varying delays. The problem addressed is that of designing a full-order observer that guarantees the exponential stability of the error system. An effective algebraic matrix equation approach is developed to solve this problem. In particular, both observer analysis and design problems are investigated. Sufficient conditions for a linear neutral system to be stable are first established. Furthermore, an illustrative example is used to demonstrate the validity of the proposed design procedure.

  • This paper proposes a novel balance control scheme of a biped robot to predict the next position of ZMP using Kalman Filter. The mathematical model of the biped robot is generally approximated by 3D-LIPM(3D-Linear Inverted Pendulum Mode), but it cannot completely express the robot's dynamics. The stability of the biped robot depends on whether the ZMP(Zero Moment Point) position is in the stability region or out of. And the internal error between the robot mechanism and its model could affect the stability of a robot. Therefore, the proposed balance control not reduces the internal error, but also timely generates the proper control. The experiment of the proposed balance control is simulated on the virtual workspace where the biped robot may encounter with various difficulties.

  • 일반적으로 HID 램프용 안정기에는 디지털 제어기를 사용하지 않지만 디지털 제어로 구현하는 경우 여러 가지 이점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DSP를 기반으로 Bridgeless CRM PFC Converter 제어를 디지털로 구현 할 것을 제안하였다. 이때 인덕터 전류 검출을 하지 않기 위하여 DSP 연산에 의해 계산된 온, 오프 시간으로 동작하도록 하였으며, 과도상태 시 출력 전압에 따른 주파수 제한 방법을 통해 안정적인 구동이 가능하도록 하였다. 제안한 방식은 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 HID-Lamp용 하이브리드 안정기의 조도제어 시퀀스에 사용되는 저가의 ZCD(Zero Current Detection)방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 램프의 자기식 안정기 구동으로 인한 Dimming 시 인덕터 전류와 램프전압, 전류의 관계와 특성을 파악하여 램프전압으로 인덕터전류의 상태를 파악할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었으며, 실험을 통하여 제안한 회로의 적용이 타당함을 확인하였다.
