  • The iris, a biometric information, is safe, unique, and reliable, such as fingerprints, and is personal information that can significantly lower the misrecognition rate than other biometric authentication. However, due to the nature of biometric authentication, it is impossible to replace it if it is stolen. There is a case in which an actual iris photo is taken and 3d printed so that the eyes work as if they were in front of the camera. As such, there is a possibility of iris leakage through high-definition images and photos. In this paper, we propose to improve iris masking performance by supplementing iris region masking research based on existing blurring techniques. Based on the results derived in this study, it is expected that it can be used for the security of video conference programs and electronic devices.

  • 원자력 발전소의 설계 수명이 늘어나고 기존의 가동 원전 또한 장기 운전을 목표로함에 따라, 원자로 압력용기, 가압기, 증기발생기, 배관 등의 주요 구조재료의 장기 열화에 따른 재료 건전성을 유지하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 특히, 응력부식균열 현상은 장기 열화에 의해 일어날수 있는 구조재료에서의 심각한 취화 문제들중의 하나로써, 이 현상을 예방하거나 지연시키기 위해서는 현상의 근본원인과 작동기구를 규명하는 것은 원전의 안전성 유지를 위해 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해서 구조재료 표면의 원전 운전 조건에서의 산화막 특성과 그 형성 거동을 분석하는 것은 매우 중요하게 되는데, 원전 운전 조건은 고온고압의 수화학 환경으로 일반 환경에서 사용가능한 다양한 분석 방법들을 적용하기에 많은 제약을 받게 된다. 그러나, 라만 분광법은 가동 원전의 운전 조건인 고온/고압수 환경 하에서도 실시간으로 산화막 분석이 가능한 기법으로, 본 논문에서는 지금까지의 라만 분광법을 이용하여 고온고압수 환경에서의 주요 구조용 금속 및 합금 표면에 생성된 산화막에 대한 분석 연구 결과에 대하여 소개하고, 앞으로 이를 이용한 구조재료의 열화 현상을 분석 및 열화기구 규명을 위한 연구개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 카메라환경에서의 안면인식 기반 영유아 활동 사진 자동 생성 시스템을 개발했다. 개발한 시스템은 어린이집에서 알림장 작성을 위한 촬영하는 동안 보육에 부주의하여 안전사고가 발생하는 것을 방지 할 수 있다. 시스템은 이동식 수집기와 분류 서버로 나뉘어 작동하게 된다. 이동식 수집기는 Raspberry Pi를 이용하였고 초당 1장 내외의 사진을 촬영하여 SAMBA를 사용 공유폴더에 저장한다. 분류 서버에서는 YOLOv5를 사용해 안면을 인식해 분류한다. OpenCV와 TensorFlow-Keras를 통해 분류된 사진에서의 표정을 파악하여 부모에게 전송할 웃는사진만을 분류하여 남겨둔다. 이외의 사진은 /dev/null로 이동하여 삭제된다.

Development of a Shut-off Device of LP Gas Regulator for Home Use (가정용 LP가스 조정기 차단안전장치의 개발)

  • A safety device with shut-off function was developed for preventing intentional accidents that might happen by separating of cutting hoses connected to pressure regulators used in residential LP gas facility. For the verification of function and field adaptability, the safety device with shut-off function was tested in the state of joining the device to the regulator and a field test was carried out at home. This study shows that, at the inlet pressure of 0.07-1.56 MPa, the device shuts off the gas within the 5m length of hose regardless of the installation condition of the regulator. The shut-off flow rate increases in the order of perpendicular upward, horizontal and perpendicular downward. From the results of the field tests carried out at home for 5 months, there appears no problem using a gas range or a boiler. If the developed shut-off device is commercialized and distributed in the market the intentional accidents occurred by cutting or separating hoses can be prevented remarkably.

  • Safety accidents in railway work continue to increase every year; Engineer's negligence, trackside worker's sensory deprivation and signalman's mistake are the main reasons of such incidents. We consider this problem by far the most urgent matter in railway work because of its steady increase and risk of taking a person's life. Based on that account, a new alarm system has developed, that is called Railway Access Alarm System, to allow railway workers to sense the access of trains with not only vision, but also hearing. The detector device of this system is installed on both sides of the track locating 1.5km from the workplace. When the train enters the place, the detector device can sense the entering, sending the detect sign of train to the alarm unit, then the alarm unit warns the workers by the LED lighting and sirens. This system has several advantages compared to previous systems. First, it recognizes the train at a long distance. Secondly, there is no need for wiring work since it is a wireless system. At last, the system works by rechargeable batteries and solar charger so that it is installed in the work places where there is no external power supply. Moreover, it is proven that the system is 100% reliable by the successful on-the spot inspection evaluating the capability.

  • In recent years, the importance of the safety of medical device software has been emphasized because of the function and role of the software among components of the medical device, and because the operation of the medical device software is directly related to the life and safety of the user. To this end, various standards have been set up that provide activities that can effectively ensure the safety of medical devices and provide their respective requirements. The activities that standards provide to ensure the safety of medical device software are largely divided into the development life cycle of medical device software and the risk management process. These two activities should be concurrent with the development process, but there is a limitation that the risk management requirements to be performed at each stage of the medical device software development life cycle are not classified. As a result, developers must analyze the association of standards directly to develop risk management activities during the development of medical devices. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the relationship between medical device software development life cycle and risk management process, and extract risk management requirement items. It enables efficient and systematic risk management during the development of medical device software by mapping the extracted risk management requirement items to the development life cycle based on the analyzed associations.

  • 과학위성 1호에는 위성의 임무를 수행하기 위하여 광학계, 구조부, 및 전자부 등 여러가지 부품들이 실장되는데, 그 중 전자부의 가장 중요한 부품 중의 하나인 인쇄회로기판(Printed Circuit Board, PCB)의 우주환경에서의 특성 대해서 논의하고자 한다. Solder Resistor(Solder Mask)의 화학성분이 위성체가 작동하는 우주환경에서 위성체 임무수행 시 발생할 수 있는 out-gassing으로 인해 위성체가 본연의 임무 실패라는 결과를 초래할 수 있다 NASA 및 ESA의 Out-gassing에 관한 규정과 TRW에 의한 KOMSAT에 사용된 재료의 진공상태의 Outgassing에 관한 내용에 의하면, 재료의 진공상태와 Out-gassing은 America Society for Testing and Materials에서 제시한 ASTM E959 기준에 따라 제작된다. 일반적으로 우주 환경에서 광학계나 전자부의 원활한 동작을 위해서는 인쇄 회로 기판의 총 질량손실(Total Mass Loss, TML)은 1.00%을 넘지 말아야 하며, 휘발성 응축 질량 (Collected Volatile Condensable Mass, CVCM)은 0.1% 미만이어야 한다. Total Mass Loss(TML) 방법은 대기중에서 측정한 질량과 진공 조건에서 변화되는 질량을 측정함으로써 진공조건에서의 탈기체 특성을 측정하는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 Solder Resistor(Solder Mask)의 탈기체 측정을 위한 진공챔버의 측정방법 및 진공 형성 과정을 기술하고 실제 과학위성1호에 장착될 시료를 예로 들어 인쇄회로기판에 입힌 Solder Resistor(Solder Mask)가 우주환경인 진공상태에서 위성체 부품의 작동 시 발생할 수 있는 탈기체되는 정도를 질량의 변화분으로 측정하여 위성체가 우주 환경에서 본연의 임무를 안전하게 수행할 있는지를 검증하였다.부분이다.다.향을 해석하고 시뮬레이션 하였다.Device Controller)는 ECU로부터 명령어를 받아서 arm 및 safe 상태에 대한 텔리 메트리 데이터를 제공한다 그리고, SAR(Solar Array Regulator)는 ECU로부터 Bypass Relay 및 ARM Relay에 관한 명령어를 받아 수행되며 그에 따른 텔리 메트리 데이터를 제공한다. 마지막으로 EPS 소프트웨어를 검증하는 EPS Software Verification을 수행하였다 전력계 소프트웨어의 설계의 검증 부분은 현재 설계 제작된 전력계 .소프트웨어의 동작 특성 이 위성 의 전체 운용개념과 연계하여 전력계 소프트웨어가 전력계 및 위성체의 요구조건을 만족시키는지를 확인하는데 있다. 전력계 운용 소프트웨어는 배터리의 충ㆍ방전을 효율적으로 관리해 3년의 임무 기간동안 위성체에 전력을 공급할 수 있도록 설계되어 있다this hot-core has a mass of 10sR1 which i:s about an order of magnitude larger those obtained by previous studies.previous studies.업순서들의 상관관계를 고려하여 보다 개선된 해를 구하기 위한 연구가 요구된다. 또한, 준비작업비용을 발생시키는 작업장의 작업순서결정에 대해서도 연구를 행하여, 보완작업비용과 준비비용을 고려한 GMMAL 작업순서문제를 해결하기 위한 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.로 이루어 져야 할 것이다.태를 보다 효율적으로 증진시킬 수 있는 대안이 마련되어져야 한다고 사료된다.$\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorner$의 범위를 벗어나지 않는다. 그렇기 때문에도 $\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorner$$\ulcorner$표현$\lrcorner$의 성격과 형태를 외형상으로

  • As environmental regulations have been strengthened and high fuel efficiency has been in demand in recent years, the number of ships using natural gas as a fuel is increasing. The demand for ships using LPG or methanol, which are emerging as eco-friendly vessel fuels, is also increasing. In this perspective, ME-LGI engines using LPG or methanol as a fuel have attracted considerable attention. Ships equipped with an ME-LGI engine are required to check the reliability of the fuel injection valve during shipping. This means that the development of a fuel injection valve tester is essential for the commercialization of ME-LGI engine. This study conducted the conceptual design of a fuel injection valve tester for ME-LGI engines using a system engineering process in the order of requirements analysis, functional analysis, and design synthesis. In the requirement analysis stage, the operating process of fuel injection valve was analyzed, and the necessity of checking the sealing oil leakage was then derived. In the functional analysis stage, the functions and flow of them were defined at each functional level. In the design synthesis stage, the equipment for each function was set and the process block diagram based on it was derived. In addition, preliminary risk analysis was performed as a part of system analysis and control, and safety measures were added to the conceptual design. This study is expected to be a good reference material for the concept design of other systems in the future because it shows the application process of a system engineering process to the conceptual design in detail.

  • Domestic urban areas are experiencing serious traffic congestion problems due to continuous population growth and increased traffic volume. In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion, the study of great depth underground double deck tunnels using underground space is being actively carried out in the urban areas. The characteristics of great depth underground double deck tunnels are low in cross section, so the spread of fire smoke is expected to spread faster than the road tunnel in case of fire. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a fire smoke delay device which delays the spread of fire smoke when a fire occurs in a tunnels. In the previous study, the diffusion effect was analyzed according to the blocking area when the fire smoke spread delay device was operated through the 3D CFD in the study of preventing the smoke spread in the case of the tunnel fire. A study on fire smoke diffusion delay device using spring elasticity which is excellent in applicability to a tunnel and economical value is studied. In this study, fire smoke spread delay system was developed to fire smoke delay was experimentally analyzed. Fire smoke delay effect of fire smoke delay device appeared. Therefore, it is considered that the can minimize the damage of the victims when installed in the great depth underground double deck tunnels.

Study of Formation Factor of Biofilm on Aluminum surface and Removal Efficiency of Biofilm by Antimicrobials (알루미늄 표면에 생물막의 형성인자 및 항균제에 의한 생물막 제거효과 분석)

  • 108 microorganism types (79 types of fungi and 29 types of bacteria) were isolated from 25 automobiles generating bad odor when the air conditioner was turned on, and 43 types of fungi and 23 types of bacteria were identified. The analysis of condensate generated by the air conditioners in the automobiles indicated pH 6.4~7.1, 12.5~34.2 mg/L carbon source, 0.9~18.6 mg/L nitrogen source, 0.5~27.8 mg/L ion contents, and 0.1~7.7 mg/L mineral contents. The biofilms were formed by the mesophiles under the summer temperature/humidity condition ($26^{\circ}C$, 70% R.H.), and they were regenerated when the environmental factors (nutritional contents and temperature/humidity) were appropriate even after they were artificially removed. Although the antimicrobials removed 99.9% of planktonic cells within 15 minutes, they were not effective in removing biofilm. Up to 1,950 ppmv of ethanol was observed in the automobile treated with the antimicrobials. Although the figure is lower than the acute toxicity level when inhaled by humans, the health safety of the chemical substances used in the antimicrobials needs to be reviewed.
