Status of the Real-time Safety Monitoring System of Hydrogen Refueling Station According to the Operation (수소충전소 실시간 이중 모니터링 시스템 운영을 통한 안전성 향상)

  • In accordance with the revision of the Enforcement Regulations of the High-Pressure Gas Safety Management Act in February 2021, from August 27, 2021, the operation status of safety devices such as gas leak detection and alarm devices, emergency shut-off devices and flame detectors installed at hydrogen vehicle charging stations can be monitored in real time. It is transmitted and operated by the computer system managed by Korea Gas Safety Corporations. We intend to share the results of statistical analysis of abnormal signals that have occurred along with the results of the monitoring system construction so that they can be used for the safety management of hydrogen refueling stations, and to seek future safety management directions.

  • The government of South Korea has made great efforts in the area of railway safety management by means of a railway safety law and an integrated railway safety plan established in 2004 after the Daegu subway fire accident. However, after certain railway incidents, a reactive railway safety management system has been implemented that has led to fatal accidents caused by the collision, derailment, and fire every year. Hence, this study is intended to propose a framework that integrates data from distributed detection devices into a real-time railway safety monitoring and control system for proactive safety management. Furthermore, we will provide a future development direction for safety performance monitoring indicators to determine whether the railway safety monitoring and control system works effectively. The proposed framework is expected to be a cornerstone for the real-time railway safety monitoring and control system to be implemented in the future.

Falling Accidents Analysis in Construction Sites by Using Topic Modeling (토픽 모델링을 이용한 건설현장 추락재해 분석)

  • We classify topics on fall incidents occurring in construction sites using topic modeling among machine learning techniques and analyze the causes of the accidents according to each topic. In order to apply topic modeling based on latent dirichlet allocation, text data was preprocessed and evaluated with Perplexity score to improve the reliability of the model. The most common falling accidents happened to the daily workers belonging to small construction site. Most of the causes were not operated properly due to lack of safety equipment, inadequacy of arrangement and wearing, and low performance of safety equipment. In order to prevent and reduce the falling accidents, it is important to educate the daily workers of small construction site, arrange the workplace, and check the wearing of personal safety equipment and device.

  • The paper delves into the elaborate intermediating mechanisms of the association between coaching leadership and safety behavior. To do that, this study tried to identify the sequential mediating effects of employee's meaningfulness of work and perceived organizational support between coaching leadership and safety behavior. By utilizing 3-wave survey data from 250 employees in Korean companies with conducting structural equation modeling(SEM), this paper found that coaching leadership had a positive influence on safety behavior through sequential mediating effect of employee's meaninfulness of work and perceived organizational support.

A Study on the Measures for Safety Management at the Coastal Sea Area in Korea (국내 연안해역 안전관리 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Most of marine casualties occur at the coastal sea areas where maritime traffics are heavy and on the coastal regions such as the beaches and breakwaters, etc. where a lot of people visit. Recently, tile risk of casualties along the coasts has been on the increase due to the revitalization of marine leisure activities in Korea. However, the measures to prevent accidents along the coasts have not kept step with increasing rate of the accidents and the safety management system has not been organized. Recent marine casualties were analyzed to propose alternative measures for safety management to minimize marine casualties along the coasts. Comprehensive safety system and networks are necessary to be established and the integration and unification of the relevant authorities in charge should be accomplished in Korea. In rapid response to marine casualties, the search and rescue system should be established for the systematic and effective life-saving operations in Korean coastal areas.

Study on Solutions to the Heavy Work of Safety Managers at Construction Sites (건설현장 안전관리자의 과중한 서류업무 해소방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a way to solve the excessive paperwork of safety managers in domestic construction sites, and to suggest a work efficiency plan that can shorten the time required to prevent safety accidents. First, a function to automatically generate a safety document and find the necessary data is applied using the RPA program. The second is document creation using mobile devices. After safety training, use the Moleil app to keep the training log. Third, to prevent omission of essential safety and health documents, the automatic warning function is activated according to the RPA submission time and sent to the person in charge by e-mail or text. Fourth, the function to find the latest data with high accuracy and speed through 'Google Cloud Search', a search function, was applied.

선박기자재 국산화의 문제점

  • 최근에 와서 급격한 선박의 대형화, 고속화 추세에 따르는 주기관의 소요마력 증가, 신속정확한 작동 및 성역화에 따른 기관의 자동화와 경제적 운항에 따른 정박시간의 단축 및 stop manouvering 등의 요인으로 선박용 주기관의 발전은 급진적인 양상을 띄고 있다.특히 주기관의 출력증대와 안전운항을 위한 정지, 후진성능 및 경제적 운항을 위한 자동화와 연료비 절감등의 기술적인 문제는 아직도 개선할 여지가 많은 것으로 전망되며 국내조선공업의 발달추세에 비추어 볼때 국내에서도 점차 이상과 같은 제기술문제의 해결을 위하여 관련 학계는 물론 관계기관에서는 지속적인 연구와 노력을 경주해야 할 것이다.

  • 본 논문은 임베디드 타겟 보드의 시스템을 활용하여 웹서버를 운용하고, 웹페이지를 통해 임베디드타겟 보드 내의 신호를 제어할 수 있도록 제작한 신호 감지 시스템을 통해 제어 신호를 받아 실제 작동여부를 확인할 수 있는 조형물을 구성하였다. 또한, Linux 커널을 컴파일하여 포팅한 임베디스 시스템과 Linux OS기반의 인증 서버를 구축하여 안전한 홈 시스템의 보안접근 제어가 가능하도록 하였다.

  • 기술의 발달로 인하여 인간이 사용하는 많은 공구들은 전동화되어 사용의 간편함과 아울러 작 업성능의 획기적인 변화를 이루었다. 그러나 이는 반대로 누적외상병이나 VWF(Viberation induced Whiter Finger)와 같은 새로운 문제점과 함께 중량의 증가로 인체에 더 많은 부하를 안겨 주는 부작용도 초래하고 있다. 현대의 많은 수공구들은 그 중량과 반발력을 지탱하기 위하여 대 부분 양손으로 작동하도록 설계되어 있느며, 제품의 성능의 향상에만 그 초점이 맞추어져 왔고 사용자의 안전과 편이성은 상대적으로 무시되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 양손공구의 인 간공학적 설계를 위한 체계적인 접근방식을 제시함으로써 산업디자인에 활용됨과 함께 유사한 제 품의 디자인에도 응용될 수 있는 바탕을 마련하고자 한다.

大型 疲勞試驗機 開發

  • 개발된 피로시험기의 구성부품중에서 실험정밀도상의 문제로 기술적으로 국내제작이 어려운 작동기 유압공급장치 및 제어장치를 제외한 나머지 부분품들은 최적설계를 위한 전산프로그램을 개발하여 활용하였다. 광탄성과 FEM을 이용한 응력해석을 통하여 자체설계로 개발하였다. 이 시험기의 개발로 액슬하우징등 자동차부품의 내구성을 평가할 수 있게 되어 자동차의 안전성을 꾀함은 물론 다원화되어 있는 부품생산업체마다 대당 $200,000-$300,000이나 되는 관련시험장비를 수입할 때 드는 막대한 외화를 절약할 수 있게 되었고, 대부분 영세하고 관련기술이 부족한 부품생산 중소기업체들을 지원할 수 있게 되었다.
