The Effect of Community Mapping Application Development and Application on the Safety Consciousness of Elementary and Middle Schools (커뮤니티맵핑 어플리케이션 개발과 활용이 초·중생의 안전의식 고취에 끼치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose an educational program for enhance safety capability of elementary and middle school students through community mapping application. Method: Developed and utilized a community mapping application that can be easily used for research. After participating in 425 elementary and middle school students, This study analyzed the change of safety competency through survey. Results: Through the community mapping activities, it was possible to derive the actual life surrounding risk factors of the earthy life, and it was found through the questionnaire before and after the activity that the safety competence of the participants improved. Conclusion: Investigation of similar related cases of Public Participant Safety Mapping Tool and analysis of their functionalities are conducted, and user demanded functionalities with improved usability accessability expandability are derived. Also, the system applied the test to elementary and middle school students and the survey showed that the safety capacity was improved according to Safety Mapping activities. This is proposed as a safety education program.

  • 해사안전법 제46조에 따라 선박소유자는 선박과 사업장에 안전관리체제를 수립 시행하도록 하고 있으나, 안전관리 전담인력보유에 대한 부담감, 경영자의 안전관리 관심 부족, 선원의 고령화 등으로 안전관리체제를 형식적으로 이행하는 경우가 많다. 이에 따라, 선박과 사업장에 대한 안전관리 역량이 떨어지고, 해양사고 발생 가능성을 높이고 있다. 따라서 소형 내항선사의 안전관리체제 컨설팅 실시 통해 안전관리체제에 대한 필요성을 인식시키고 안전관리(책임)자 및 해상종사자의 안전관리 역량을 강화할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 소형 내항선사에 대한 안전관리체제 현황을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 내항선 안전관리체제 컨설팅 서비스 체계를 수립하였다.

  • 본 연구는 급경사지 정비 사업 이후 현장을 재평가하고, 등급을 산정할 때 보강시설로 인한 등급 하락의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 역량 지표를 추가하여 12명의 전문가와 15개 지점에 대한 현장평가를 실시하였다. 15개 지점 중 11개소에서 점수가 변화되었으며, 6개의 지점에서 등급이 하락하였다. 등급의 변화가 크지 않아 개선해야 할 점이 있지만 본 연구는 향후 급경사지 등급 조정 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다

The Relationship Between Construction Workers' Safety Consciousness, Organizational Trust And Turn-over Intention (건설현장 작업종사자의 안전의식과 조직신뢰 및 이직의도 간의 관계)

  • In this study, the purpose of the study was to verify the relationship between the company's construction safety management system and workers' safety consciousness and safety observance behavior. A survey of 357 workers was conducted and a statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. As a result, the following main results were obtained: First, it was found that supervisor's capability, inner construction safety management, construction safety education, and construction disaster evaluation have significant effects on the worker's safety consciousness. Second, it was revealed that the worker's safety consciousness had a significant positive effect on the safety observance behavior. Third, it was shown that supervisor's capability, inner construction safety management, construction safety education, and construction disaster evaluation have significant effects on safety observance behavior. In addition, this study confirmed that the management supervisor's ability to handle safety at the work site is the most important factor in safety management in order to enhance the worker's safety consciousness and safety observance behavior.

A Study on Importance Level & Present Level Analysis of ISO Auditor' Competency Factors (ISO 심사원 역량요소의 중요도와 보유도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the priority of the ISO auditors' specialized knowledge and job skills required to perform their duties, along with their personal characteristics, in order to enhance field-based auditing capability. For achieving the objectives of the study, the questionnaire consisted of a total of 50 competency factors, adding personal characteristics area to the ISO 19011-based specialized knowledge and job skills areas and the survey was conducted on the currently active ISO auditors with a five-point recert scale. Based on the results of the survey, the importance and present of ISO auditors in 3 competency areas were verified statistically significant difference through a t-test. The top priority and next priority competency factors for the overall competency and each competency areas were obtained through the Borich coefficient and the Locus for Focus Model. Considering the top priority competency factors in each competency areas identified from the study results, it can help develop related auditing curriculum. for improving the auditors' competency, and furthermore, it is expected to help strengthen ISO management system including quality, health & safety, environment and business continuity for companies.

The Design of Training Contents for Marine Accident Investigators (해양사고조사관 교육 콘텐츠 설계)

  • The Korea Maritime Safety Tribunal is an institution that investigates marine accidents in accordance with the maritime safety adjudication procedure when marine accidents occur. It requires its investigators to be capable in specializing in marine accidents, including possessing the following: a level 2 or higher maritime license, experience on boarding, and specialized knowledge on ships. It also requires separate training for technical competency related to maritime accident investigations. However, the current education for marine accident investigators mainly consists of administrative tasks, which is not suitable to improving the investigator's technological competency, making its development urgent. This study aims to design training contents for marine accident investigators to strengthen their technical competence. To this end, we analyzed the contents of current investigator training, and reviewed the relevant laws and regulations, and training contents of investigators in advanced maritime countries and similar transportation institutions in Korea. According to the results, the training contents were designed to focus on strengthening technical competency, and proposed as a five-day course for basic and professional training. Based on the designed training contents, if in-depth research is conducted by sufficiently reflecting the working conditions of marine accident investigators in Korea, it will greatly help in improving the investigators' skills.
